There are lots of Asia parents pays ridiculous price for property for their kids to study here. I can say it’s unworthwhile at all. If I have one more choice I would send my kids to private school for sure. My kid was in a combination class in year 1 which is half prep and half year 1 kids. The results is not as good as I expected. In year 2, there two teachers in the class. The main teacher stays 4 days while the other one only on Fri. Many days there are other different relief teachers. At the last day of term 2 we received the email from principal that the main teacher resigned. Kid said that teacher leave because of more money in the other school. All I want to say the teaching resource in public school is quite unstable and insufficient. If you can pay million dollar for home definitely the school is not match what you expected at all.

Great school, well balance in general. The teachers are dedicated and caring. You can feel that the kids are happy, curious, confident , yet still well-behaved (but not to the level that you will get when kids have strict education). The parents are not overly competitive compare to other top schools, where normally parents only talk to you to see where your kid’s academic level is. Most parents are professionals educated, who value happiness and intelligence. School culture is relax, yet committed to kid’s education and well being. Yes, this is not the best school on earth with top ranking in everything. This is the best balanced school. I’m very happy my kid thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

We've moved back to the area & have found Wishart.S.S to be even more amazing then previous years. Wonderful atmosphere, my child is so happy & has a brilliant teacher & teacher aide. The SEP teacher also has rave reviews. They have quite a few clubs for the children to expand interests. Our child raves about the whole staff. This move has made a difference to our whole family, not just one child.

I paid a lot of money for a dyslexia diagnosis for my son - as advised by the school. Then the SEP teacher informs me that dyslexia is not a proven disorder. What an absolute joke! I moved my son to Mount Gravatt as the learning support there is outstanding. Wishart just cannot compare. The families at Wishart are lovely though.

Fantastic experience going here in the 90s. Wishart is a safe suburb. Obviously things change in terms of the principle, deputy principle and teachers. Nevertheless, the facilitates are there for the kids to enjoy and hopefully there are great staff coming through the ranks.

The bullying in this school was crazy when my siblings and I attended. The teachers were hostile, never understanding. I was always getting yelled at for the littlest things in grade 3+. Leaving Wishart was the best thing for my education.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, ... Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the. way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it.

Great school, highly recommended. 1. Caring and friendly teachers/ staff. 2. Great music program. 3. Academic wise, good. 4. Most importantly, my child is having fun and enjoy learning in this school.

Not too bad. Good having nice friends there but got targeted by a teacher in year 5 for doing absolutely nothing. Recommend going to another school, but camps were alright.

My children attended in 2022 for a short time. We had kind prep teachers. Very grateful to them. Eight year old felt unsupported
