Invisible disabilities exist. Today I parked at Windereme Plaza in the handicap stall with my valid placard and a lady sat on the post in front of the stall smoking and talking on her cell phone at her leisure. I waited patiently until she finished, where I see the ash tray stack (looks like a tall slender poll) was located and permanently fixed directly in front of the two handicap stalls - this is unacceptable for the health of people who can't breathe smoke into their lungs, as it is detrimental to their health. While I gathered my belongings to leave the vehicle after waiting many minutes for her to put the first cigarette out, she then proceeded to light another cigarette and continued sitting on the post directly in front of the handicap stall smoking and talking on her cell phone. People are to smoke 5 to 10 meters away from public entrances in Edmonton, Alberta, and this needs to be enforced at this doctors office location (Winderemere Plaza), as the handicap stalls are located within less of 5 to 10 meters of the buildings entrance. Also I was shocked and appalled when I saw that she was wearing a lab coat and name tag as she works at the pharmacy inside the building (blonde hair and glasses). It is terrible that someone who works in the healthcare field is so utterly disrespectful of handicap people, and others who do not wish to breathe smoke into their lungs when trying to enter the building to visit their doctor.

Absolute nightmare for parking. Not a new problem. For at least 5 years, the parking here has been awful. The shape of the lot (L shaped), a slope (dangerous when icy 6+ months each year) on east side, narrow parking spaces, narrow driving lane, 1 handicapped parking space that delivery drivers love to park in, no traffic lights for trying to get out of the parking lot east onto Windermere Road or south onto Windermere Blvd, many double parked vehicles and delivery trucks, and *so* many raging people make it just awful to try to get into the plaza. By the time I or we actually get inside the plaza doors, we don't want to be there and wish we'd never gone. The issue is Monday to Saturday, early morning to closing. Needlessly stressful for someone who's disabled or elderly, for example, who has to go to a lawyer's office. Be prepared to spend up to an hour or more trying to find a parking space. Zero available street parking, school reserved parking across the road, and quite a walk over icy sidewalks if you park kiddy-corner (not to mention horrible drivers on Windermere Blvd who refuse to stop for a red light and let pedestrians legally cross).

So much for humanity! I am a cancer patient, that has been turned down by Dr. Laura Mowbrey, just because I haven’t shown up on Meet and Greet due to being in my 2nd surgery, and to make things worse, when I got a phone call from the receptionist, I asked her nicely to re-schedule my appointment, and she wouldn’t do it!! And the receptionist did not tell me that if I do not show on the Meet and Greet appointment, I will lose my spot and will never be able to get in or have any other chance. Thankfully there are a still few good humane doctors out there. The month after my 2nd surgery I went for my checkup and the surgeon said I have to do a regular follow-up. I advised the surgeon that I don’t have a physician, and guess what? In just a few hours, through Alberta Health Care, I got a physician with more stars than Dr. Laura Mowbrey. Good for me! And shame on you Kindest regards

This location has a lot of office space, most of it medical. With this being said, this creates a parking issue. The "elbow" shaped parking plan they have for this plaza is ridiculous and creates difficulty for vehicles coming in and out, parking and for larger trucks such as delivery vehicles to access the area.

First time here. Went for an appointment with my new rheumatologist, Dr. Akbar. She was AWESOME! So very pleased to have found a good specialist. The building/office is brand new looking and very classy. Loved it.

I only have great things to say about this establishment. Very professional and knowledgeable. They always greet you with a smile, and they are very eager to help. This place gets a five-star from me!

The plaza is very busy and has most of the businesses you might need to access, however parking is terrible and it’s proximity to 2 elementary schools make it a pain to get to and from at peak hours.

Today i had the veggie pizza, my guests and myself were impressed by the taste, i have lived and had pizza in Italy this was really good compared to anything else I've tasted before in Canada.

Went there for an appointment to have some surgery on my fiance's face. Everything was fine. Good doctor's and caring nurses. I was at the dermatologist surgeon office.

My acupuncturist(Long Tin) from Simple Roots is the best. I have had acupuncture for 30 years and I'm impressed with her knowledge of how to care for my aliments.

Many businesses in the plaza, including variety of health care providers. It is in a great location and easy to get to. Was not easy to find parking close by.

Safeway grocery & gas, liquor store, chiropractor, KFC, etc...very handy and just short (@ 5 blocks East) of the traffic nightmare of Costco and River Cree.

Has what you need , needs more parking and properly signed handicapped spots. Also they pile snow in the accessible spots which make them difficult to use.

The plaza has a great selection of businesses from a convenience store to car and home insurance, yoga, real estate, restaurants, and many more.

The parking lot is THE WORST at school drop off and pick up times, but still bad all the time and the places upstairs are confusing to find

I was very upset, no offer to assist me there was no automatic doors, service was very unattended was switching from drive thru to counter

Nice area to come for shopping for those who like calm and peaceful atmosphere with no worries of parking spaces and too much rush.

I visited Medical. Center here, the clinic staff is extra ordinary help full as compared to other medical clinics. In Edmonton .

I've never had to wait very long here for the medical center. The staff seem friendly and they have a good selection of doctors.

Please fix the automatic door open buttons. Many people see the medical clinic and need these buttons to open the outside doors.

Mostly professional facilities here. Plenty of parking some traffic congestion around the area as you enter or leave the Plaza.

I love the free parking just don't make appointments between 3-430. School traffic is very bad , parking lot congested.

The parking lot isn't the best here. The sidewalk is also crumbling already. But it's your typical medical center.

easy to get to, parking can feel a little chaotic if you need to back out of a spot but there are always spots.

Bustling hub for Windamere area from Medical to Great Drug store ,makes for great place for one stop shopping.

It's a two storey multifaceted retail/professional services complex. Parking can be a challenge, but is free.

New, clean, great stores and services, great parking, and I like the services and stores that I use here.

As I said, leading edge physio therapy is absolutely the best place for all your physio needs.!!!
