Good field for kicking the ball around or walking the dog. There's lights at night time and a kids playground. There's a walking path, a few water taps and a bike repair spot. There are also permanently set up football goals and a cricket pitch. Can get a little sludgy after big rains. Also provides access to Kew billabong.

I got stuck there when my the valve on my bike tyre broke. There's a place for pumping up bike tyres (which would have been helpful if the valve on my tyre wasn't broken) and a place to refill water bottles right next to the park, and apparently there are toilets nearby

Bike facilities along the trail: pump, water and bike stand. Toilet big enough for a bike for a quick no lock up stop. Playground for the kids. Can watch sport being played on the oval if wanting to stay longer. Sealed path around the park for walkers. …

Great walking / bike tracks to enjoy. Lots of wide open spaces for pets to run around. The Yarra River is just there and it really feels as if you're out in the bush... and not in suburban Kew!

  • Mark Aidan

Nice open area off the shared pathway offering good park infrastructure if you want to take a break. Well kept sports area, grass is like walking on carpet.

  • Don Ewart

Nice, heavily used park. Dog off lead on playing surface is weird. Billabong a big drawcard with native, birds, insects and plants. Good, shared, paths.

  • Ganesh Desai

Good wicket & outfield. However, access from carpark to the ground is very steep. Somebody may fall while going down or may not be able to come up. More

Good place to go for a walk with dog, take the kids, play found area ,has a few soccer pitches to kick a ball around, toilets and close to bike paths

  • Samual Harrison

Brought the puppy here for a run with two mates of mine - the dogs loved it and had plenty of room to play while some kids played soccer

  • Peter Digaletos

I almost was hit by cyclists who speed and don't ring their bell.It is only a matter of time before someone is going to be injured.

  • malat

Great off leash park. Take care near the water, I’ve never experienced anything but there are warnings regarding snakes.

  • Becky Huang

Left a foldable chair here after training and went back in a few days, still there! Good people in Kew east. Good people

  • LJ Gervasoni

It was better before the poles blocked the Jack Gervasoni name and ruined the architectural aesthetics of the building.

  • Lars

Brilliant walks amongst nature and wildlife.Inspiring in any weather and the closer you look the more you are engaged.

  • Andreas Behren

Small little park at the Yarra with a new playground at the car park entrance. Connects to the main Yarra trail.

  • Lara Abualrob

A great. Park for sport and exercise. There is also a really nice path just behind it. And a few playgrounds! :)

  • Eddie Chapman

Nice tucked away dog-friendly (off-leash) park, with the bonus of river access for the pooch to go for a swim!

When it comes to the playgrounds around here, it's the journey, not the destinations.
