"Thumbs down!! Dirty playground! A group of young adolescents were playing basketball and out of the blue two boys started fighting! Instead of the other boys stopping it they started cheering them on and some taking video! I was trying to call the police, but my phone froze!! So sad!! Don't plan to go there again! Wasn't safe, both for cleanness and physically and for my 3 year to watch!!"

Grew up in the neighborhood. Went to the school next to the park and played baseball and soccer at Westown park. This park once had every season sports leagues for baseball, soccer, softballl, pop Warner football. But now very rare to see any sports. City took the league's out of the neighborhood. and ever since the the Meth and heroin addicts have grown. The park is still a good park in the day and could be great again if they bring the sports back and give kids something to do other than drugs.

This park is not friendly for bigger neurodiverse children or youngsters. There are no steps to get up on to the larger play set, which means they can't go up there to slide. The swings are too high up on the ground for many youngsters to get up on. I work with neurodiverse children, I specifically go to parks to give them great experiences. I'm thinking nobody had any thoughts of inclusivity.

Baseball Diamond in good shape. Great spot for football games. They have a good swing set along with a monkey gym for the kids. Two bathrooms (boys/girls for those that are confused). Would’ve given it five stars but there are some sketchy people walking around sometimes. Most the time it’s fine and no homeless for the most part because it’s next to a school.

Baseball field is always kept up and the field has a mound which is nice. The park itself is clean with the occasional transients but outside that it's a great spot for practice and let the kids play.

Nice small park with big playground shaded picnic table area clean bathrooms and drinking fountains are cold. Connected to a baseball field. Only drawback is it runs along the alley of people's homes so there is visible trash and broken glass etc.. along the one side of the park but it's an OK park

This is alright. It's a small park, but there's a playground, bathrooms, and a baseball field. Sometimes we see people there for a game. It's frustrating that there's no real parking. Since you have to park in the street, in can be difficult when it's crowded. Also, it's not well-lit at night.

  • Beatboxdemon

This park is usually quiet but has the occasional couple walking by, the pair of teenagers hanging out and some people talking at the benches but other than that the place is clean. Relacing and over all a safe place for me when I have the place to myself and my friends lol

  • Ralph “RJ” Hall

Decent park and the city does an ok job maintaining it. There are homeless that use the playground as shelter and the restrooms to bathe. I wish there were basketball courts here. My son used to play on the playground when he was younger and now we practice soccer here.

I grew up here and loves it. It's nice the only reason I put it as 4 Star because of the homeless to much they are all in one place it is just scary at night but the play ground and the baseball and the grass is good thats why I would recommend coming here!!!!

  • Lisa Altenbernd

Was a great park and still has the potential to be great again, just need to get the druggies and homeless out of there. They are right behind my house and it is annoying all the trash they leave and the needles laying on the ground for any kid to pick up.

  • savannah gregory

It would be an amazing park if it wasn't constantly covered in litter and people doing drugs and living there. I could care less that people without housing are using this place for shelter, it's the rampant heroin use and drug deals that pisses me off.

  • Jessica Hernandez

I'm normally would rate this a 5 star my family and I love this park unfortunately its undergoing construction removed all play area but do have restrooms and alot of nice grass fields for games and activities not alot of people More

  • tim gabbert

This is a seldom used neighborhood park there's a restroom however at this time I don't think it's open there's a fairly large playground for the children but is mostly just a big grassy Park good for letting dogs and kids run

  • Chris Morris

Decent neighborhood Pokemon Go spot. A few gyms and stops, decent spawn, and it's a little nest which rotates every two weeks. I don't walk around in the park after dark, though, unless the baseball field lights are on.

  • Murl Roskam

There is a problem with the homeless , they hang around by the playground, its the only negative thing about this park. There are picnic tables by most of trees and the park is kept clean. Plus it has a baseball field.

  • Harley Liddell

This is my childhood elementary school and neighborhood park. It used to be so much fun and safe to play at for everyone. It pisses me off to see what's happened to it with the zombie inhabitants and their trash

  • Marissa Parafiniuk

Grodddddyyyy!!! This should not even be considered a park! It's Groddy!!! Filed with homeless junkies and there is no real start or end to this so called "park"... Stay far away!

  • Mandy Delapena

It is a nice small park area with restrooms and a playground for small children. And it was not busy packed with a lot of people. Perfect for smaller children.

  • Mark Smith (The Joker)

That park is one of the most special parks that I have been to, from what it was from what it is now it deserves more then 5 stars it is part of my heart now

  • susan esquer

West Town is a small neighborhood park it has a playground a restroom and ramadas and a baseball field it is small so it will be okay for small get-togethers

  • Mike Tillman

It's a pretty nice park if you can get over all the drug addicts that hangout in the back by the school fence. Highly recommend the cops to help the patrol.

  • Courtney Nicoletti

I absolutely la la la looovve this park. Ive been going to this park since i was bout 8- maybe 9 yrs old. ONLY bcuz i lived around the corner frm it.

  • Trent Viera

Tons of homeless people. I'm fine with it but my wife freaks out. We come to this park with my granddaughter, she loves it. I enjoy taking pictures.

  • Patricia Dyal

It's always dirty and full of bums. Plus you have to keep an eye out for drug paraphernalia at all times when you have kids there.

  • Fayth Kayes

This park is always kept clean and maintained. It was the perfect place to have a 5 year olds birthday party, very comfortable
