Westbury on Trym is an old place. And this is an church...In the 6th century Westbury was in the territory of Hwicce, very much a British stronghold against the saxon invaders, which became part of the kingdom of Mercia in the 7th century.

A really welcoming and caring church, the church choir was exceptional, I had the pleasure of hearing them sing Zodak the Priest and was astounded by there talent especially being a local parish church.

This church is so worth a visit. They have an amazing Christmas tree display just before Christmas. It's a beautiful place and somewhere you can really feel at peace.

Although I didn't attend a service, I enjoyed my visit to this peaceful, friendly church. I love the stained glass and the staff were welcoming.
