In response to your comment. You didn't tell me I could come collect a new charger, you told me that you MAY have a charger I could TRY to see if the charger or the battery was the problem, you couldn't even tell me confidently if you had one despite knowing it would take me over an hour to get to Hounslow. And this was after me asking you to send me a link for the charger only - to which you responded that the new battery will come with a charger which wasn't my question at all. You seemed like a nice, trust-worthy guy when I bought the bike and perhaps you do help other customers who buy a regular bicycle. But with my E-Bike you put in minimal effort. And I referenced your "nice link" in my previous review where I mentioned your only option for me was to spend a further almost £200 on the bike. You didn't tell me at the time of purchase that their was only a one month warranty in the battery, if you had I certainly wouldn't have handed over £500 so there's no point mentioning it now when there's nothing I can do about it. I bought a second hand E-Bike from this place in April this year. 2 months later my battery stopped charging and when I messaged the guy he told me my battery only had a one month warranty on it (not something he told me at the time of purchase). His only suggestions was that I buy a new battery and despite me telling him that that seemed like a very expensive option for a bike I purchased only recently, he didn't give me any other options. He had no explanation as to why the battery could've stopped working and didn't offer any other information for me to solve this problem. All he could suggest is that I spend a further almost £200 on the bike. Now I just have a £500 piece of junk.

Got the bike out the shed during covid. Initially took it to halfords who told me the back rim was gone and would need replacing and would cost 120 plus the other things wrong with the bike. Called WLC and took it in for a service. He repaired the rim without having to replace it and was included in the cost of the service. Repaired the rim, gears, pads, and seat. Got bike up and running for a good price, much less than Halfords. Good value, good communication, quick turnaround. Wont be wasting time with Halfords or other big stores anymore as have found someone who knows their stuff about bikes and is reliable and trustworthy. Would highly recommend

To be honest, I was a bit unsure initially with West London Cycles but once I collected my bike, it was clear he knew what he was doing. He noted everything down that needed to be done, gave us a quote but found that some parts of the service weren't necessary so deducted the costs. The bike was serviced very well, and after being in a crash, it was only £115 (compared to Halfords quote of 140) with the repair only taking 24 hours (compared to Halfords quote of 5 weeks). Overall, I don't think I could've been happier about the whole process!

Happy to recommend West London Cycles. They were very quick to reply to my email about carrying out a service and fitting some additional components. Vim went through the quote in detail and explained what did and did not need replacing after seeing the bike. It was less than 24 hours between the email, handing the bike over and collecting it after the work was completed. Great customer service, needed some bolts to fit a rear pannier. Vim provided for free and fitted the rack as well. Now planning to have another bike serviced.

My bike needed some immediate attention. Went to Halfords, but they weren’t even prepared to look at it before 4weeks. Found West London Cycles, thought I’d give them a shot. Vim was great, able to take bike the same day as I rang, he went through what he needed to check and what might need replacing, without doing anything that wasn't necessary. Bike was serviced and ready within 24 hrs (initial estimate was 48hrs). Friendly and professional, didnt try to upsell any extras for the sake of it. Highly recommend and will now be my go to for any work needed on our bikes. Even laid on a meet and greet service - one of his very cute sons keeping a look out for my arrival :-)

I took my bike for a full service on a Friday, was greeted well and he went through what he would do after taking a look at my bike, great communication to arrange drop off and collection, I collected my bike on the Sunday, he had done everything he explained plus some! My gravel bike had front and rear derailleur issues. I got an appointment at short notice and had both issues fixed within a couple of hours on the same day. Vim also noticed a slightly loose headset and sorted that too and pumped my tyres for good measure. I had my road bike which hadn't been used (and had been out in the garden for a year) serviced with Vim at West London Cycles - I could not be happier. His knowledge and expertise were great. Literally the best man to go to if you need any help with your bike! Very professional and knowledgeble, there is not one thing he does not know about bikes! But at the same time his customer care service makes it feel more personal, not like all the big chains that there is around, where you are only another number. Very good professional service . I repaired my ebike puncture and brakes which was done perfectly. After denied to repair by halford , I googled online and found this workshop. Vim repaired my bike within 45 mins. I was not expecting it to be done so quickly after being told by the halfords that they dont touch ebikes other than their own brand. Brilliant service - bike was sorted within 24 hours. I will deffo come back here for any further services. Had a tight budget to get brake cables replaced. Having spent time trying to contact the household retailers to get my bike repaired, I came across Vim on the web as he was local, I called & dropped bike off for repair in the morning & by 4pm the bike was back with me in full working order. Vim restored my daughter’s old vintage Raleigh bike. He is very friendly and knowledgable and clearly has a passion for repairing bikes. Don’t be put off by the fact that he is working out of his back garden - he doesn’t have the overheads of a bike shop so is very reasonably priced.
