Moving with We Haul was a fantastic experience this past September. My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to movers after moving to Montreal with just my mom and her best friend for help the year before. The We Haul team made the money unbelievably well spent. We had terrible elevators in our old building, and despite the fact that they had every right to complain about how slow, frustrating and unreliable they were, we never heard a peep out of them. Ericson and his team kept things upbeat and quick through a really complicated day. Our old apartment was also unbelievably tiny, and that space made moving all of our larger pieces (as well as all of the larger pieces our now roommate owns) a struggle. They could have complained about the fact that our roommates things were also squeezed into our one bedroom, but they were too busy laughing over the story of the surprise lease-takeovers in our roommates old sublease than complaining about the fact that we had a whole extra persons things. They also treated my boyfriends collectibles, and his grandfather's handmade coffee table with the upmost caution and respect, making sure it was safely stored in the truck, and even double checked with us to make sure an old dent on it was already there. They also made sure everything got safely into our apartment, and actually dropped our labeled boxes off into the appropriate rooms (a first from any moving company I've worked with!) and even made sure to keep our roommate, and mine and my boyfriends stuff separate. Ericson even gave us a hand making sure our bed went back together, after we'd had to fight to take it apart because of a stripped screw, even though we didn't pay for furniture reassemble and disassemble. Also, anyone who can get our monster of a couch up and down stairs that quickly is a dream. I'd totally hire them again.

Absolutely professional and hard working. Would recommend without any hesitation. I hired Ericson and his crew to do a move in Old Montreal a couple of weeks ago. There were difficult turns to negotiate with our $5000 leather couch and the guys were absolutely brilliant. Not once did they damage any of my belongings. They took the time to remove all the obstacles I had left in front of the door such as my shoes (sorry Ericson, I didn't read your moving advice), sized up all the contents of the place and listened to my concerns. Ericson took the time to answer me patiently but when it was time to work, he does not mess around. It is like an actor falling into character- he is concise, efficient even militant. One of his guys was taking a call on his cell and Ericson said to him, "do that in the truck when we're driving to the drop off, the client is paying us good money for us to be on the ball". I am sure that his methods work because one of the guys has been with him for nearly ten years. When it came time to do the boxes, they placed all of them at the top of the stairs and chained them down. This cut down on the hard work and made the move seem (for me at least) effortless. These guys do not stop working. I think they are worth way more than what they charge. I happily gave each a $50 tip. Whatever the cost (which was very reasonable) it is still way, way cheaper than having to buy a new piece of furniture that those other unskilled so called movers charge. I will be referring We-Haul movers to all my friends and family!

Avoid at all costs. Ericson is extremely unprofessional. After I had to cancel my move unexpectedly because the other tenants hadn't left yet, he wouldn't accept that I needed to cancel and wanted payment. He hadn't asked for a deposit and there was no cancellation fee discussed, so I wasn't going to pay him for nothing. Instead of accepting the cancellation and handling it professionally, he called us at 6am and argued relentlessly with me on the phone until we had no choice but to hang up on him and warn him not show up, because by that point my husband and I were seriously concerned he'd show up banging down our door. He sent a registered letter to our new address about a month later demanding payment or he'd take legal action. What a joke. The worst experience I've ever had with a business! Edited in response to the owner: Hi Ericson, I called you the night before and left you a voicemail. I had only just learned myself that I couldn't move the next day as scheduled. You called me at 6am when you got the message. There was no deposit or cancellation fee, so of course I wasn't going to pay you hundreds of dollars for not coming. We could have just rescheduled the move. But, you chose to make a stressful situation even worse.

Ericson and his moving team are not only professional, extremely careful and courteous with your possessions, but are genuinely good people to be around. Ericson seems to hire people who he deems to have good character, and he seems really good seeing those great traits in people. Not only that, but he manages moves like a maestro at the orchestra, with a touch of militaristic style. They arrive on time (or earlier), and get the job done like every single moment counts. Ericson is just the kind of guy you feel like you could have a drink and chat with sometime, too. Kudos to being a genuine, caring person to your clients. I really appreciate how somehow amongst the madness of moving stress, he manages to drop some completely tangential conversation into the mix, which lightens the mood (without wasting a moment's time, I might add). Honestly, these guys are great. It's our second move with them, and they are brilliant. Moving is always back-breaking work and these people make it look easy. Thank you (again) for the great move.

the first time i used We Haul movers was in 2001, i have since then used them 5 more times. if theres one thing in life that completely stresses me out, its moving, ironically i keep moving.. the reasons i use these guys all the time is A) i have very expensive antiques that have been in my family for many generation. B) the men that show up at the door are clean and in shape and dont look like they are about to have a heart attack each time they go down the stairs with heavy pieces. C) they are trust worthy (and after having more than a few bad experience with other companies, let me tell you this is important) and i know this might sound a little superficiel but to me, it is important that the men i hire to move and care for my belongings dont look like impolite slobs. for the quality of the work the price is more than fair. All I can say is wow! These guys are efficient! Ericson orchestrates his team with military precision. He focuses on the work from start to finish. This was an eight hour move and they did not once stop for lunch or a smoke break. Our move required two trips but Ericson did not charge for the travel back and forth. We had a couch that wouldn't make it into our tight hallway and the We-Haul team hoisted it up all the way to the third floor with no trouble at all. I appreciated Ericson being polite an respectful Unfortunately the landlord was a bit controlling but Ericson simply told him that he needed to treat us with civility and that was that. I would 100% recommend this crew. I've heard horror stories about movers but I can assure you this team is an absolute dream!

Overall, our moving experience with WeHaul was seamless and efficient, especially given the current pandemic restrictions. The crew, Nick, Andy and Alex, were extremely friendly and attentive to detail when it came to wrapping and transporting our valuables (including our delicate antique grandfather clock). They were quick to load and offload the truck, everything arrived in perfect condition, and the communication from pre-arrival to billing and departure was fantastic. The pricing was fair, especially for MTL ''moving season', the service was incredible, and I would happily hire them again for any future moves. A HUGE thanks again to the team for helping us transition smoothly during an otherwise very stressful time.

We moved July 30th and had a very successful experience with We Haul and of course Ericson. Had to make a comment for anyone looking for a good, reliable company. They were well organized and friendly and didn't waste any time AND everything arrived safely and was placed without any incident....didn't hesitate to ask questions or make suggestions concerning certain pieces. We had over 40 boxes of all sizes, lots of furnature and special lamps and pieces....no problem...from Brossard to Rosemont! Thanks Ericson for making a potentially difficult move a smooth one. Right price, no surprise charges, and smiling movers....who could ask for more!!

Erikson and the team were able to do what every other mover could not. Hoist three couches a few floors inside our home (hallways were small). In fact, they were VERY careful not to damage our home. Moreso then any other mover we have had in the past years. I really appreciate it. You will be called when we move out. They ended up having to reschedule because another client had misrepresented their move. The thing is they came VERY early the next day to ensure the move was done before our carpet installation. It was not typical and the team made sure to meet the timeline we had. Thank you again for showing up and helping us out of our bind.

The three movers that came to do our move were respectful and professional, and I have nothing against any of them, but we booked our move well in advance and were given a quote for 4 movers, and used this to compare against other quotes for just 2 or 3 movers. We went with We Haul even though it was more expensive thinking that more people would get the job done quicker and offset the higher per hour cost. We were never quoted a price for 3 movers, which in the end was just 10% less per hour than the original quote for 4, and well above other quotes we had for the same number of movers from companies that also had very positive reviews.

Ericson, Yves, and Dragan were an excellent team on our moving day. They came on time, were organized, and were very professional and methodical in packing the moving truck. They made a stressful day pretty routine and were well worth the costs. Yes you can do it yourself, but it will take you 6x longer, and you may damage items. They expertly wrapped sensitive items, and loaded the van in a way to prevent damage. Not a single box was damaged, and everything made it quickly to my new home. I will recommend these guys to all my friends who are currently on the search for a solid moving team. A+

Never did I think that moving could be FUN!!! Not only were our movers on time, efficient, and conscientious, they were also upbeat, friendly and FUN! Ian especially brightened the mood of everyone involved and had us all working together like a well-oiled machine (and laughing and exclaiming "Oohh Yeahh" the whole time!). The move was over in record time thanks to their hard work and professionalism. But we were having such a good time, we hated to see them go! Erickson and his company bailed me out of a tough situation, with where I used to live. They also made an effort to be kind and considerate, made moving day a breeze. I have always moved myself prior to this one and I will never go back. I was only asked to do light work here and there to facilitate the process, and I came away from the day with energy for the next days of unpacking and setting up my new place. I would recommend We Haul, it was a very human experience, which we cannot say about every company out there.

Punctual, friendly, fast, efficient and careful. We Haul Movers were did my move so cheerfully and quickly. Everything I was carrying around my house crumpled over, they seemed to lift with ease and in multiples!! They were nice to my cats, provided supplies, and brought tools to deal with the difficult layouts of Montreal living. I had a super big commercial printer to move, that was maybe more heavy than what the paperwork cited, but they managed wonderfully and carefully. Thank you, Stretch, Papi, and ManX!

The best, most professional move we've ever done. Even with some parking obstacles, they had everything handled. Our condo was emptied so fast I could barely believe it, all while showing our things the utmost care. They put every box and piece of furniture in the room we wanted it in, even if that meant taking it up a flight of stairs. Just an unbelievably smooth process that took about 1/4 of the time every other move has. Don't move with anyone else!

We haul offered us an outstanding moving service, punctual and reliable. They have a wide selection of materials useful for a move, such as good quality boxes, mattress covers and quilted blankets. All For a very fair price, to ensure a clean and safe move. Finally, depending on your needs, it is also possible to benefit from a packing service. I am extremely happy with my experience and I'm going to only contacting them for my future moves.

Ericson and his team were experts, so kind, very gentle with our furniture and homes, and managed to move during a snow storm without any difficulty on us! They also used hoisting methods for larger items that would not fit otherwise. They covered and taped all our items and were very efficient and clean. Ericson was also quick to respond to emails. Had to rush to find some movers and these guys were available and responsive so I booked with them. Two movers were able to get everything done in about 2 hours. They were very to-the-point, communicated clearly, and were super chill despite the stress of moving. They even disassembled my desk and reassembled it quickly and efficiently without losing any parts. Really satisfied with the service.

We Haul Movers went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I had to make some complicated arrangements in order to move my belongings to a storage unit while I was out of town, but Eric was extremely helpful and understanding. He provided frequent updates so I could be sure my things were safe every step of the way even though I couldn't be there in person.

5 stars is not enough! I was dreading my move as I'd badly hurt my back shortly before my move day, but these guys handled EVERYTHING. We Haul Movers did a great job getting our furniture and appliances moved from our apartment over to our new house. They worked hard, they moved quickly, and all of our things arrived at our house in great condition too. We will definitely be using We Haul Movers again, as well as recommending them to everybody else we know who needs help moving.

Today our move went great. They were able to get our big couch and our refrigerator up to the third floor while dealing with some difficult angles We were very impressed with the professionalism the team demonstrated as well as their teamwork and would highly recommend them. Well worth the money to know that our belongings were cared for.

Honest, hardworking and were available in extremely short notice. `Very please (and relieved) at their prices and managed to work in difficult conditions. They were always pleasant and when they got stuck due to difficult road conditions, they did not charge me. What they quoted, is what I paid. Will definitely use them again.

I had a last minute move, same day, and I was lucky enough that Ericson fit me in. I only had a small apartment move so a truck was not needed and he sent over one of his movers, Rinor, to help me out with his personal vehicle. Rinor was friendly, efficient and pleasant and we got the move done in very little time.

Erik and Olivier were friendly, efficient, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. What was quoted as a 3 or 4 hour job by other companies was done in 2 with these guys. Would recommend their service strongly for anyone looking for a seamless and stressless move.
