First of all, when you come here be prepared for someone to ask you for money. I promise you it will happen, but that won't be the worst experience you have while you're here. That will be due to the lovely people behind the pharmacy counter. I've had my prescription filled at various Walgreens for over 10 years. I moved close to this location so I transferred my prescriptions and began purchasing here. My experience dealing with these pharmacists has been miserable ever since the very first phone call. The first time I called was right after I moved to Dallas from Fort Worth. When the pharmacist picked up she told me "I've told you before you can't transfer that". No apology when I told her this is my first call to this location. Once my doctor began sending my prescription to this location it did not get any better. The location on Henderson in fort Worth used to update me if there were issues filling a prescription, insurance or otherwise. The way this branch deals with issues is by removing the script from your view in the Walgreens app, no phone call, no text message. The first time there was a complication filling my prescription I called my doctor wondering why my medication hadn't been sent. The physician's assistant told me everything had been completed on their end. I call this branch, and they let me know that I need prior authorization, and I need to let my doctor know. Thank you for the heads up Beckley avenue Walgreens, and thank you for going the extra mile. At the time of writing this I've had a Google account for over 7 years. The lack of customer service, respect, and professionalism I witnessed here drove me to write my first customer review in those seven years. Trust me do not come here.

I called this location to get my prescription filled in preparation for my surgery tomorrow. Upon arrival I noticed there were 2 signs. One saying "Express Pickup" the other saying "Drop off". Being I needed to drop off a script to have filled I went to the "Drop off" line. I was immediately told "we only have one line". So I moved over to the other line. There were 2 people in front of me. The first lady was wrapping up her transaction. The madness comes into play with the next lady in line. She was picking up medication she had previously dropped off. They had no record of her drop off. They asked her many questions to figure out the problem... When did you drop off the script, who is your doctor, when was you doctor visit, what is the names of your meds.... She could not answer ANY of the questions. The worker continued to indulge this lady and the line got longer and longer. The worker even sought out help from her other co-workers, no solution to the problem. She continued looking dumbfounded at the computer. No one ever came to assist her with the long growing line of agitated customers. After 12 mins I left. Horrible customer service

I'm giving this store one star not for the staff or interior of the store, but for the miserable way it reflects on our neighborhood. The parking lot is always full of trash. Broken tree limbs litter the sidewalks and grass around the store. Half of the windows have been boarded up for months with plywood. Are they remodeling, closing? Expecting a hurricane? This store's exterior is a depressing blight on a wonderful historic neighborhood. Get it together, Walgreens. It's not as if you don't have the money to hire a groundskeeper and a contractor to repair your windows. Update Dec 2022. Boarded up windows have been repaired. After this review posted, the parking lot was cleaned up. It’s been noticeably cleaner in the past two months. Thanks to whomever responded and made it better.

My doctor sent over my RX to this location twice because the staff claimed that they had no record of the prescription. When I asked to speak with the Pharmacist (Ryan) he said that it’s possible that it’s in a stack of prescriptions that have yet to be entered. He couldn’t confirm that it’s in the stack and asked that I wait another couple of hours. It’s been four hours since the 1st time my doctor reached out to them and now I must wait 2 more? Ryan stayed if he didn’t have to take calls from patients he could get through the outstanding RXs. His sarcasm is not appreciated nor necessary from someone in his position. This location is a disappointing member of the Walgreens family of stores. I’d go elsewhere.

This location is not worth your time. In addition to an annoyed and apathetic staff, the wait time is horrible. They are consistently understaffed, and have literally messed up my prescriptions almost every single time I have come here. They don’t have the meds, they send alerts that say it’s ready when it’s not, they change the brand of my meds without communicating that to me. Every time my auto fill is supposed to work, it doesn’t or they said my prescription ran out when it didn’t and try to blame me and make me wait another week. I am so damn fed up with this place that after almost a year of trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I am literally never going to come here again.

The most unprofessional pharmacy staff ever. Whenever my prescription aren’t covered by my insurance they will just cancel it instead of giving me the option of purchasing it at the full price. This has happened multiple times, despite me informing the staff that I am willing to pay for my medication because I need it, and despite the fact that I’ve even purchased their Walgreens discount prescription plan to cover the medications I have that aren’t covered. Every time this happens the staff becomes rude and dismissive. The pharmacy even removed my insurance and was charging me full price for my prescriptions for over a year. They then took 5 months to refund they overages.

On November 30th I ordered three photo books. I went to pick them up on December 1st. They were not ready nor had my order been touched. A young man said that it would be ready later that day. I returned friday to pick up the books and they still weren't ready. The store manager stated that there was an issue with the printer and they would be ready the next day. The store manager said she would call if there were any issues. It is a week later and I haven't heard anything from this store. It has been close to two weeks since I made the order and I still have nothing. This is supposed to be a same day service. The store manager and her workers are completely incompetent.

This store closes for any reason! A few weeks ago when we got snow I came in about 230pm and the employee George was his name..he was as rude as they come telling people there closed as they walked in the store they were so confused to why he was yelling as they walk in screaming closed! And tonight I got there around 6pm he was closing the store and not letting people in all due to a server thunderstorm . This man is always rude! And I don't even think he is a manager at least I hope not. This store is very convenient and close to my house that why I go there but know I'll make a longer trip to another walgreens so I don't have to deal with him.

I placed a photo order online. Walgreens online has since emailed me repeatedly informing me that my order is ready for pickup. I've gone into this store on 3 separate occasions and each time they act as if they have no idea what I'm talking about when I reference this order. The photo department at this store is TERRIBLE! This is the second time that my order photo order has not been completed or not completed correctly at this location. I used to really like this location but the service here has fallen drastically in the last couple year. I'd highly recommend going to a different location especially for photo orders.

The pharmacy is understaffed - it's always a 30 minute wait to receive medication. I use the refill online service and while that is helpful, they don't always fill all the prescriptions in the order, meaning I still have to wait an additional 15 minutes till it is filled. The store itself could use some cleaning as I often find that it's a bit dirty. They have the basics as a Walgreens with being a corner store, so I do appreciate that as it's the only semi grocery store in this part of town (without having to drive 10 minutes, unless you speak fluent Spanish, there is a lovely Supermercado about 6 minutes away)

No business is perfect, but the Walgreens pharmacy on North Beckley has always been interested in my health and wellbeing. Yes, there have been occasional mistakes, but the fact that the pharmacists know my husband and me when we walk in, and the fact that the pharmacists on staff genuinely care that the medicine they dispense is making my health better, means a lot to me. I’m so happy that I made the switch from CVS. The Walgreens staff at this location are more interested in making me better than in finding excuses when things go wrong. I trust these people.

Shut down their pharmacy for the weekend with no notice to regular customers. Sign says to call Illinois if you need your prescription before Monday. Illinois Walgreens unaware and were not staffed for the business.. also they didn't have the stock to fill these prescriptions and some aren't able to transfer. Their Google hours were updated a week ago yet pharmacy shows open all weekend. You are literally putting peoples lives in jeopardy and have not taken steps to minimize this while dealing with whatever forced a pharmacy closure.

Walgreen's is a staple commodity so not much to say about this store...you can get everything you would expect. With two young children I use pharmacies frequently and this is definitely a subpar. I have called in scripts and gone to do pickup many hours later without scripts being filled. I have received the wrong medication (fortunately we realized). They just don't get the basics of being a pharmacy accurate every time.

Still waiting in line for a medication pick up. This place is the worst. I don’t usually rate places, but this store has failed in customer service several times. There is one car in front of me (since I got here) I’ve checked my email, responded to messages, made important phone calls, contemplated writing a bad review, waited a bit, actually wrote this review, and it looks like I still have more time to spare.

I ordered items to be delivered by 7 p.m. Received text that oy would be more like the next day. When I canceled, I told them that time would work. Suddenly they were at the door. Couple weeks later ordered items, to sign for. sat on porch waiting for delivery. Never came. Eric, store manager said id get refund, which did not; 2 doors later, neighbor came bringing items delivered to them, unsigned for of course.

I had been to this location for centuries since I work in the neighborhood. Noticeably the younger employees are not performing well,, which means they need strict supervision & training. Had encountered employee with an attitude. Manager/s need to pay notice, so as to do something. Btw, what happened this stifd was closed since July 1. Can someone please say something .... yh

I stopped to pick up meds but not in the system. so I asked if I can buy a kid’s mucinex and if she could ring it up while I’m already at the drive through window after waited for 12mins in-line she told me I’ll have to come inside. I would normally but my two year old is sleeping in the back..

Place is definitely understaffed, but you can see the effort to make sure you are always helped in finding what you need. This location is always a quick in and out for me luckily without any troubles. There are two Walgreens near me about the same distance, but this one is my go to for sure!

Choose another Walgreens!!! I have come here month after month after month- problems every time. They are out of meds or don’t get faxes. This month I have been back 3 times just to get one prescription and now they still don’t have it. Spare yourself the headache- this place is a NIGHTMARE

The store is incredibly understaffed and slow, especially in the pharmacy. Expect 30+ minute lines. Admittedly some patrons do not help this problem at all, but there are much better ways to handle the lines and these people, including more staff and better crowd control.

Within 3 minutes of walking into the store 3 Walgreens associates came up to me and asked me to pay for a drink I purchased in store. Racially profiled me, I couldn't even look without them telling me they were going to ask me to leave. DONT SHOP HERE HORRIBLE STORE

This location neeeds to get their act together. No pharmacy today. No explanation or information on when pharmacy will reopen. Was on hold on their phone system for over 30 minutes with no answer. Just automated voice stated I was the 3rd caller waiting.

Worst customer service ever. There is usually only one person working the front with a huge line. Young male pharmacist is very rude. Techs are also very rude. Minimum 20 minutes each time there dealing with somethung going wrong. CVS is much better

Very bad experience at the place. We booked covid shot and went on time for our appointments. The lady at pharmacy told us that they are out of stock. I asked them why they didn't convey it earlier. She was not even responding properly after that.

By far the worst pharmacy. Between them filling medication I don’t need, pharmacist requesting a refill for a medication I don’t even use, and less than friendly pharmacists. Would not recommend unless you want to waiting for a while.

I took off of work to get my covid booster that was scheduled approximately one week ago and after I arrived, am being asked to reschedule because they had a scheduling error. This is not acceptable and not even an apology was made.

If you go in, the pharmacy seems over all ok but I have been on hold for 15-20 mins before and called back only to be put on hold without explanation. If your going to call don't bother, no respect of time or customer service.

Just left a cvs bc their restrooms were not open, Walgreens was close by. Still needed to shop, still needed to use the restrooms, restrooms were closed "due to covid-19" and I couldn't shop. Very inconvenient.
