Probably the best club to join if you're living close to the EmQuartier or any of the other locations. During my membership I have never had to wait for machines and classes have generally been available on short notice although its always good to book well in advance just in case. The club supports MyWellness QR codes but that works with Apple Health but unfortunately doesn't support Apple Watch workouts yet. Membership fees are a bit confusing, and the reason for the missing 5th star is because when signing up for a "Limited" membership (6:00am to 3pm, Mon-Fri) they forgot to mention that it applies to Public holidays as well, making the "Limited" membership kind of useless as there are just so many public holidays in the Kingdom of Thailand. Unless you're on a really tight budget, go for the "All access" membership that also gives access to any of the other clubs in Thailand and abroad as well I believe. Service vice, especially if you're new to the gym, I would recommend the Empire Tower location as they really go the extra mile and have much more staff to help you out during your workouts. Aqua Fitness classes there are just amazingly fun and teachers are top notch, five stars to them.

Virgin Active at EmQuartier is a top-notch gym with fantastic facilities that cater to various fitness needs. The array of classes available is impressive, offering something for everyone. Personally, I've found the diverse trainers to be outstanding, with Ton Z standing out as a favorite. His Zumba and Aqua Zumba classes are absolutely phenomenal! Ton Z's energy, fun-filled sessions, and genuine sweetness make every class an absolute blast. Moreover, the staff at Virgin Active are incredibly friendly and always willing to assist. Their helpfulness adds to the overall positive atmosphere of the gym.In summary, Virgin Active EmQuartier is a great choice for fitness enthusiasts, boasting excellent facilities, a wide range of classes, and exceptional trainers like Ton Z, making workouts both enjoyable and effective. It is more expensive than other gyms but you will be getting value for your money if you go at least 3 times a week.

I do not recommend this club, it is very expensive and very important simulators are not in the club (((the staff is rude with customers. There are clubs that are much more interesting and cheaper, and the price is adequate) where the staff is always friendly and you feel like in a family)) but not in virgin ! Really not recommend virgin they remove bad reviews from facebook, they are real scammers !! they also swindle payments !! They also cheat on payments !! It has been noticed more than once. You just paid it and a week later a new payment appears, although you paid for 2 weeks !!

I've had a great experience in my first week. The facilities are very nice and well kept. Bella explained everything about the membership to me very clearly and was super helpful during the introduction process and tour. The personal trainer David has been extremely professional and kind in explaining things to me as I learn to proper lifting form, and focus on doing things correctly. David really cares about his clients and I feel like I''m in great hands here!

Don't give them your credit card information, they will keep charging you after membership ends. Only signed up for one month and made sure they understood that it was only for one month when I paid. Could not have been more clear on that - I stressed it over and over. The nice woman that signed me up said yes she understood and I would not be charged again. The next month I've already left BKK and they are still charging me. It's poor way to do business.

I love this place, great vibe! I had a Zumba class today with 2 male instructors and they are amazing!!!! And the audience too! Everyone enjoyed no mater which country you come from or which language you speak or how old you are. I also like the fly yoga (antigravity) and rock climbing here. It's absolutely the most fancy and friendly gym in BKK! ^^ Plus, among all the Virgin Actives in BKK, this one is the only one with stretch zone, my favorite ;)

They force you to wear a mask during all workouts, even intense cardio sessions where science has shown this to be dangerous & the WHO (World Health Organization) recommends against it. By the end of your workout, your mask is completely drenched in sweat, making it even more of a risk to catch bacteria or suffocate you during your work out. Wish I could get a refund for my membership because of this.

For sure one of the top gym locations in Bangkok. Virgin has other branches as well, though I believe the EmQuartier location is one of the best. One of the best gyms in Bangkok. Updated equipment, plenty of free weights and an area for Olympic type lifts as well. Wide array of classes, a spin room, 3 lane lap pool, and a super clean locker area. If you just happens to forget to bring workout clothes, they have them for you at the locker area!!! Highly recommended.

I do not recommend this club. It is very expensive. Told them to cancel the membership and got charged for payments for 3 months. After discussing with them, they refused to pay me back even though i did not use the facility for the whole 3 months I have paid for. Bad management cant believe it. What a scam.

Really nice place to workout. The 3rd level where the machines, free weights and open area are, is really open with lots of natural lights. Trainer counter can be either really nice and friendly or real stuck up depends on the individual. Avoid Monday and Tuesday as it can get pretty crowded.

Nice gym but nobody speaks english except the arrogant indian owner. Took them 1 hour to give me a price. No discount if you pay the whole year the first day. You need a credit card, because debit cards and cash are not accepted (first time i see that ahaha). FitnessFirst all the way

I am not sure why they said there is free trial. They were kind however they do not offer free trial at all. They gave you tour before they are telling the price and you just have to leave without trial. They should not advertise free trial if they want to sales peach so hard like this.

This gym is top-notch with sufficient equipment for intermediate lifters, providing dumbbells up to 42kgs and deadlift bumpers to around 200kgs. The environment is clean and well-maintained, and it’s complimented by the friendly and supportive staff who are always there to assist.

nice place in nice and convenient location. All TECHNOGYM machines, swimming pool, steam bath, yoga, etc etc. if you are fishing for a girl, or if you want to be hooked, this could be a nice place to find someone that does not work in bar by night! ^_^

Not always the machines I prefer. Worst thing they refuse to provide usable WiFi. You have to type in username and password each time, system does not allow your phone to save it, different for each location, and it often disconnects.

My wife called to ask how much membership is and was told it would be around 3,000 per month. When I went in I was told it's over 6,000 per month. A waste a time that could have been prevented if the sales clerk was honest with us :(

Bad gym - Low maintenance, bad vibe. The showers are bot clean, broken machines, too crowded, mats in the classes are dirty, the gym smells bad. You could complain but they never listen. Fitness First way better!

Great place to work out. Plenty of equipment on three floors. The crowd is pretty nice, meaning you can concentrate on your own workout without being judged.

Full amenities, great range of equipment, good classes, friendly staff. Quite pricey though and a lot of broken equipment that takes quite a while to fix.

The atmosphere of this fitness will make you feel like being a part of the community. Great instructors, facilities and good vibes. Highly recommend :)
