The service was patronising and product knowledge was uninformed. Today when we asked about the Mezcal they have in stock, the staff member begrudgingly scoffed that “it’s just tequila and probably burns like the rest.” My partner and I often shop at Vintage Cellars for the range, but we left the store having been mansplained to and empty handed.

Staff are friendly, but there is really no customer service as there always standing behind the counter each time I walk in needing help they point to area to look for the wine or whatever I am looking for. They are over priced in most products compared to the local bottle shops in the area.. But they do have a good selection in wines.

They recently completed a renovation which increased the shelf space yet somehow seemed to reduce the availability of interesting and higher end wines. They now only stick the same wines you get at every competitor chain bottle shop. New management maybe?

Fantastic service and a really great range of wines. Not great for ciders, but they have a pretty solid range of craft beers. They sometimes have really great specials, and with such a convenient location, I come here all the time.

The reason of 5 stars is they always have "hakushu" whiskey which I rarely see in other bottle shops nowadays. I order it online to collect and they prepare it very quickly. Please keep selling hakushu for me forever thanks!

Great bottle shop in the heart of Newtown. While it's part of a large chain the staff are really friendly and there's great wines stocked here at pretty decent prices. Worth checking out for the wines for sure.

Stock range is limited but probably just by space. There are so many different beers these days for instance, you'd need a warehouse to stock them all and this is a small shop.

There was a 20% off campaign for six craft beers bought at this shop, but when I went home and checked the receipt, it didn't apply.

Very limited range of beer, spirits and fortified wines - they stock basically one port. Standard wine selection is pretty good.

The guy on the register is rude and disrespectful. Wouldn’t serve because of a face mask. Mind you I got an exemption

Stock standard vintage cellars. Walk in fridge is great on those steamy summer days.
