A very nice little park, in the heart of Stittsville Main St, close to cafes and ice cream. The park is right on a long hiking pathm The Park has lots of cute options for kids, like a play structure with big slide, large sandpit, a play train! The park also had benches, it has an area with multiple water fountains, even one which has a fountain for dogs. The park also has a bike station to refill your tires. A very cute park with some nice modern features.

Love this park with wooden train and station to play in for kids, which is on the Trans Canada trail, they have the historical train building, wish they would make an historical panel somewhere, and make some parking spot that are safer then in the street, because it's a busy street (corner of Abbot/Main Street), and OMG please have access to a bathroom somewhere lol... but I believe no park for kids have bathroom facilities.

A little park in the heart of Stittsville. The Village Square Park has lots of options for kids. Accessible water for adults, kids and dogs. The park has a bike station to refill tires. Receptacles for the three waste streams of garbage has been installed. Great spot to stop while hiking on the Trans Canada Trail. Good place for a photoshoot. Nice place to take the family.

Busy and cute little park. Gazebo has electric plugs and can be reserved through the city for events. Restrooms in the park, benches, a small grassy field, several pokéstops, nearby cafes/bubble tea, and a small playground on the southwest end. Also a small fire pit area for girl guides on the east end.
Dog-friendliness
Dogs must be leashed here!

A hub of Stittsville community events. Including the Kanata-Stittsville Terry Fox Run Sunday September 17,2023. Water fountains for dogs and humans. Bike repair station, recycling , rose buses are buried in 2 feet of unnessary tree chips. Historical barn is the focus of an outdoor farmers/artisan market in spring, summerband fall.

Place for kids to be kids. But nice benches for adults to rest at, a awesome little water dispenser, to drink from, another to refill water bottles and another for dogs. Small bike repair station too. Just if it had a washrooms, it would be perfect. I stop here often on my bike rides from Nepean to Carleton place and back.

Great midtown park. Good play structure and accessible water for adults kids and dogs. The outdoor pianos is very unique; while there for 20 minutes three separate kids rode up on bikes and began to play. Very cool experience.

At anytime if year it's worth the visit. We are lucky to live quite close qnd can visit daily. Benches fir sitting and enjoying the square. Skating rink for gra dkids when they visit. Meeting up with new and old friends

  • Brandon Zweerman

This is a fine park, but the playground equipment is old and the trail in the middle of the park isn't the safest (for young kids anyway) with a lot of very fast bike traffic. Could do with some improvements.

  • Ralf Winter

Wonderful place to take the family. On this trip we cycled the Trans Canada trail from the park back to Parliament Hill, very well signed, hard pack surface, even good for road bikes.

This small little parky thing is amazing. The train , slide and the pianos just offer unique experience for the kids which is unlike other parks. I love taking my daughter there

  • Valerie E.

Great park to take the kids to just relax on a bench and watch them play on the structures. Maybe a picnic! Lots of people out enjoying it today! I'll be back!

Small park with lots of trees. Good for a quick stop or play for the kids. Scouts fire pit located here. This park is right on the Trans Canada bike path.

My children had a lot of fun playing in this park. We also went for a hike, as the Trans-Canada Trail passes through this square.

A good place to stretches for bikers. I took this picture on my way to Appleton cottage with St. Urban Church members on 2019.

Wide enough for 2 trains? I’d say - absolutely plausible lol. Stittsville Bunker Entrance 9A. Lol. Kidding on some of that.
