I grew up just down the street and it has always been a fun place for my family to visit but the history of the Bavarian fellow being a spy is false. They were a nice family who built a beautiful castle and restaurant in our area and because he had great party's they started giving him trouble so they moved. Its as simple as that.

Just a delightful place. It's got an incredible history you should read about before going there. The service was wonderful and they were very kind and thoughtful. And the food was really good. There were 10 of us and everybody had something nice to say. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and I would do it all over again. More

The food was pretty good, but rather salty. The atmosphere was fun, the outdoor "garden" was a bit odd, but they may have been working on it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would return if a group wanted to go, but I will likely not actively come back

This fantastic and unusual Italian restaurant is a delightful experience. The chicken piccata was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The outdoor patio is surrounded by interesting old structures and lovely plants. There is some road noise

Food was terribly expensive for what it was worth. I came here to have a dinner with the family, and and 18% service charge was added into the bill undisclosed to anybody. 2 plates 2 drinks came out to 67.00. I honestly would not go to this

Do not ever have a wedding here. There is no shade and guests were forced to sit in the sun in uncomfortable heat. The appitizers were one item per person at the table so some people did not get any as some guest took two. It took them 1

This is the perfect shadow hills joint. Family owned. Large yet private spaces. Wish they would have more events there because this place is made to be a public gathering place for this community.

They close too eRly, st 9:00 pm What was surprising is, usually Italian restaurants they give you bread, or garlic bread with oil etc. We had to buy our own bread, which came with butter.
