We recently had our High school reunion at the vetted well, overall we had an amazing time and the staff was generally very kind and hard working. I really liked the location, the DJ, liquor selection, and the food. My main and only complaint was one bartender in particular, I'm not sure of her name, but she had quite a few tattoos and a very unhappy and angry demeanor. With 22 years experience managing, tending, designing bars I don't say this lightly. This bartender managed to barely work the entire shift, avoid eye contact with all the patrons, look generally annoyed to even be there, and allow her coworkers to carry the entire workload. All of this while her coworkers really needed help and support due to the voracious appetite of my fellow patrons. This in no way ruined my or anyone else's night, largely due to how kind and hard working the rest of the staff was, but if I were managing this establishment I would view this person as dead weight and a cancer for morale. In addition to seemingly producing little to no sales, she left her coworkers to clean the bar that had been thoroughly obliterated. Overall the Vetted Well is a great place to throw a large gathering, with ample options, kind, hard working staff, and a cool location with excellent views, plenty of parking, and a prime location.

I've dined here twice in the evening and both have been exceptional experiences. The first time was a date with my man. We ordered fried pickle spears, chicken ceasar salad, and the DELICIOUS bacon & brussel sprouts pizza with goat cheese. Our salad was mistakenly brought with steak instead of chicken and the manager insisted on us keeping it and bringing us another salad with the chicken as we had ordered. The steak was perfect! It was so nice to receive such great service that we brought our kids over the holidays and ate here as a family this time. It was another lovely meal and the server went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He helped us navigate ordering a unlimited popcorn for the movie and taking it from the restaurant to the theater after dinner. We LOVE this place and plan to frequent it as a date spot. Dining on their 2nd story patio overlooking downtown is lovely and if it's a chilly evening grab a seat by the flaming table.

I love this place!!! The karaoke rooms are bomb and they're really cute with the different themes. I like the rocket ship one since it's the biggest room. the other ones are small and might can hold 6-8 people. The first time I came here I was a bit confused, didn't realize that it was inside the Alamo Drafthhouse Theater. The outdoor patio is nice, the one in the back with the movie screen, you can even rent that if you'd like for private parties. Ben our waiter is so bomb and really funny! He even participated and sang along to some of our songs! The bar itself is nice, and very modern looking with the heavily wooded furniture. I like the fact that there's plenty of parking for everyone and the views from the patio are nice. You can see Downtown since it's so close.

This place will surprise you! Hands down this the best bar in Dallas. I was not expecting he level of attention to detail this team provided. As soon as I sat down I was greeted with a smile. Staff knows their stuff as well. Every question I asked was answered. I had to ask for a manager to shake their hand. This place is on point. If your looking for a relaxing place to have a custom quality drink made with craftsmanship this is the spot for sure. Not everything is perfect. I saw someone had a little trouble with a game machine eating his quarter and not playing. The team fixed it quick though. They refunded his quarter that minute. Amazing stuff. bottom line check it out. You’ll be impressed.

DO NOT GO HERE!!Treated horrible. Made reservations for one of the private karaoke rooms for my wife's birthday with a fairly large but tame group. Someone in our party accidentally brought a half empty plastic cup inside and when told by the wait staff it needed to be thrown out we immediately apologized for mistake and threw it away..1 minute later the manager comes in and kicks out our entire group. As previously stated our group was tame and immediately complied. Did not create any scene . The manager (Bart) was not reasonable and acted unprofessionally. Completely uncalled for. They clearly didn't want our group to be there and only explanation seems to racially based. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Service not good due to lack of communication from establishment. I understand you can't control employees call - ins. But when patrons ever your establishment a simple greeting and statement saying: Welcome to the Vetted Well, go ahead and say yourself. When your ready to order, step up to the bar. Mind you, me and the two ladies I was with had been sitting waiting to order at the bar, while the bar tender service her regulars. I had to walk to the register area for the regulars sitting at the register area to share, and I quote, " yeah, she's by herself today, you have to order here". Thank you my fellow patron for sharing. Ugh, I was so disappointed.

So this bar used to be a whole lot better but it’s really gone downhill a lot lately. I’d come here every time before going to a show at Southside, but I won’t be doing that in the future. It’s a Friday night, place is packed and there’s only two employees working and taking everyone’s order. Gotta go up to the bar of course and place your order whether it’s a drink and/or food. It’s an extremely slow process, we waited 10-15 minutes every time we wanted another drink. On top of that, the food and drinks are severely overpriced. $17 for a burger? $17 for fish and chips aka 3 fish nuggets. I just can’t do it anymore. This place just is not worth it.

Rented out the big karaoke room for a birthday party and everyone had a great time. The loaded fries were good. I got the wings and was not very impressed but everything else seemed good. I was the first to order food and it came out pretty fast but once everyone else started arriving the food orders began to come slower and slower. It would have been nice to have more updated song choices but overall it was a experience. I've had several people ask me about making plans there as they would like to use the venue themselves.

  • Jason Dziuk

Expensive for their drink offering, especially when it comes to liquor. They have an amazing bar-side patio with an incredible view of downtown, and farther down the hall, past the karaoke rooms, there is an actual patio (i.e., with a giant sign identifying it as such) that really isn't much and doesn't have much of a view. I did not try the karaoke rooms. Service was okay, and our server was nice. Overall experience was good, but the cost did seem high for what you got. Their craft beer selection is not very impressive.

  • Timothy Webber

This place is upstairs at Alamo Drafthouse and a great place to stop in for a bite or drink even if you are not going to see a movie. They have an awesome selection of draft and canned beers, many of which are local. They have a full bar with specialty cocktails and boiler makers. The food menu has a wide variety to choose from. You can catch some food and drink special items based on a movie that is playing. You can stop in before your movie and they will have you on your way so you don't miss anything.

Sat at this mostly empty bar for 10 minutes without being seen then a very uninterested bartender greets me with a disgruntled expression to take my order I order a chicken strips basket and mozz sticks and wait for 30 minutes when I asked for it the bartender yells at someone over a walkie talkie then starts watching TikTok’s on his phone I ended up just leaving without getting any food for over 40 minutes stay away from this place

  • John Mark Lowry

Pretty standard bar offerings, with the added benefit of a phenomenal view. Every time we've been the bar staff has been exceptionally helpful, even transferring tickets or food to our movie once we're ready to go into the theater. They're very attentive in asking what time your movie starts so they can help you get there on time. Food is nice, beer selection is good, and the view on a nice fall night makes it all worth it.

  • LoneStar TexasTornado

My friends and I visited the Vetted Well for a girls' night while checking it out for a private event. This will 100% be our venue. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The vibe is low key and open, with an incredible view, and a super friendly staff (Ashely and Paulette are great to work with). We had a blast and the food was just awesome. None of us wanted to leave and we will be planning another trip soon!

  • Joeypaul2

Food was the Alamo menu when I went but was very good, craft cocktails were amazing! Will for sure go back amazing view of downtown. Service was very good considering it was Saturday night, my server let me know they were pretty busy in the kitchen as its shared with the Alamo downstairs and food would take a bit. Looks like they have lots of plans for the live shows and music super excited to go back!

  • Stephen Kuehl

The service was extremely lacking. It took the server over an hour to bring our drink order and the place was moderately busy for a Friday Night. I would NEVER suggest Karaoke there. The speaker volume is very low. So low, you can barely hear the music over conversation. the selection of music is not great. The TV was broken despite how new this place is.

  • Qiana Garrett

The karaoke and the bar upstairs was wonderful I had a great time there. However when it comes to the movie theater, that was the worst experience I’ve had there. I didn’t like that only the first couple of rows seats reclined, and I had a bad experience with the food. I ordered the hotdog and fries, and the fries came cold and the hot dog was warm.

  • Suzie Ruel

We scheduled a birthday party three months prior for a private karaoke room. Six days before the booking, management sent an email cancelling our reservation because a new customer wanted to book all the rooms. I responded to the email asking for a manager to call me but no one ever called. Please reconsider booking any special celebrations here.

  • John Strange

Normally, this venue would get 5 stars. Great food, good atmosphere, excellent staff. Today, my order of chicken tenders was visibly over done but delivered to my table anyway. Not what I expect from this normally amazing venue. We'll see how the food is tomorrow when I visit. Hopefully I will be able to give a higher rating.

  • Kimberly Behrens

We had a great time in the big karaoke room. We had a large group and our server, Jeanice, worked so hard to keep up with our food and drink needs. The food was great, the drinks were great, and the karaoke was super fun. We will definitely return to do it again, at least until we finally get a location out here in Ft. Worth.

  • Brandi Peacock

The host said "Go pick a table on the patio. I'll meet you there with menu's. 30 minutes after watching severs and bussers walk past us without saying a single word and still waiting for the host to bring our menus we left. As we walk past the hostess she says "Thanks for coming! Have a good night!"

  • Margaret Tilley

Nice little spot for lunch or dinner. We were seated close to a screaming child which killed the vibe for the first 20 minutes, but once they left it was considerably better!! The food was excellent and our server was fantastic and very personable!! We all left full and happy …

  • Ann Howard

The soda had no ice and it was flat. We told the manager and he just told us how his system was bad. If that was the case why serve soda. The food was cold, chicken wings not fully cooked. Our waitress was very non caring. The theater seamed out of date. Will never go back.

  • Michael Pope

Bad service got up to get my own drink refill. Only then did the waitress ask if I wanted a refill. Should have walked out when it took 15 minutes to get drinks ordered. Food was cold not good, and 12 dollars for two Pieces of fish. And the order did not come out correct

I've been to a networking event and then chat time with a friend, each time.the bar staff was well versed on the selections and recommendations. Clean, easy parking, great tap selection... I hope more locals start making this a go to spot cuz I will …

  • Drew Anderson

Had one good visit, and one terrible. Needs to be better. Update: been back a half dozen times. Service is slow every time... 15 minutes to get drinks; always at least 5 before the wait staff even visits... 2-star stays. Thankfully the drinks are good.

  • Kim Seese

Don't bother going here. Food is good...but it's closed half the time for private parties which means you have to get back in your car and lose the VERY rare parking spot to get something to eat before your movie.

  • David Moreno McNeill

Great place to come and have a drink before a movie or just because. Good selection of beers and good food. They also have a live band which was a pleasant surprise. There are karaoke rooms as well a a patio.

  • Dr. Austin Melendez

Really enjoyed this visit. Food was pretty good and the bartender was a super friendly guy. The owner needs to hire more staff because one person can't keep up with the whole bar and restaurant by himself.

  • Jerry Plath

Great venue. The burger was tasty, but barely warm. The fries were stone cold. I don't think the server cared at all. I'm a big tipper and can't remember the last time I didn't leave a tip. No tip here!

Great place to relax, eat, drink and play. They have great views from their large patio, TV's and bars to order from, shuffleboard & Jenga to play. Movies to watch below at the Alamo Drafthouse.

  • Sam Flood

This place has good food, lots of taps on hand, nice atmosphere and a friendly wait staff, unfortunately they seem a little short handed and there is lots of waiting in between server visits.

  • dheuer777

Obviously great views, great people even if service can be just a little slow. They have live music and and it's just an all around nice place to be. It's not shoulder to shoulder thank God.

  • Melody Major

Service was polite when they weren't running like crazy trying to fill everyone's order. They were definitely understaffed and only had one bartender actually servicing the drink orders.

  • Sarah Sanchez

The drinks were good, the staff was very nice, and the appetizers were delicious. We had a blast singing karaoke! The song ejection want amazing, but it was still pretty comprehensive.

  • M Paras

Good beer selection, prices weren't bad. Was a little taken aback when I saw that I had been directed to a bar inside the Alamo Drafthouse, but it didn't disappoint in any way.
