Too expensive for me. Nothing really stands out nor makes it specially which why I was in shock about the prices (especially for this neighborhood, I mean cmon it's Hamilton Heights NOT midtown manhattan or Williamsburg)The bartender didn't know how to make a pretty common drink... and I think they looked it up on the phone... They also didn't ask for ID from this girl whom I overheard was only 18 when she started talking to this guy by me. But I think the bartender knew her... The place is pretty cozy and warm. The only thing that was weird was a guy (customer) asked if I wanted to buy weed from him. I told him I don't smoke but I think he was drunk and didn't believe me and was trying to start a fight about it. I also think they should hire security.

This small but super cool joint ( and im lady cool expert lol) is laying vinyls on your mind. Cool vinyls... Yaaaasss me likey! You will mostly experience music anywhere from Sinatra to Francoise Hardy, to Alice in Chain, ACDC, Aretha, Marvin, Michael and so much more including spice offering ( my favorite lol) while having the inside gansetts krinkle experience with an Evan Williams. And if you are super fancy you will experience some meticulously crafted cocktails by your bartender (Pete, Helena, Chris, Victor, Nadia predently) serving customers with local, national and international flair and tastes only this neighborhood joint offers with the cultural experience. How cool. Can we say cooool again. I wanna repeat cooool lol. yaaaassss!

my wife insisted we go there and have a few drinks. i kept reminding her i don't drink liquor, just beer. So we went anyways because, hey she wears the pants in the family. Anyways it's okay if you like small dives. Here you have to sit pretty close to strangers and make eye contact since the place is so small. i just want to have my drink in the back and not talk. But you can't do that here. If you like making small talk with strangers then you'll love the place. I just want to mind my own business and drink my beer...is that too much to ask? the Beer selection was okay too..

Bourbon Street in Harlem NY. Tiny place with a lots of souls. Turn table, old rare records. Classics playing. Bring your own records if you like. Play it and take it with you or leave it in-house for next time you visit. This is one of the amazing spot in Hamilton heights. Small in space big energy. The old and the new happening right here. Bourbon, whiskey, rye, gin, mules, old fashioneds, martini calls that is worthy of the upcoming bond movie ( slightly dirty with 3 olives) # specific cocktails and everything that makes great ambience.

I visited again and watch rock n roll magic potion making behind the bar. The bartender Victor sang to a rnr classic playing on the turn table and mixed bourbon with bitters and in a very meticulous way ( seemed like a scene if a movie called Alchemist lol) while singing and cheering to the song. This drink was being made for the sheriff visiting from out of town. We were in the classic bourbon scenery for a mn. Off course I enjoyed seeing this and got a kick out of the random even. That's the type of things happening all around.

Bourbon, whisky, cocktails, beer, models walking around this up and already caming neighborhood. Actually it has arrived lol. Everytime I go there and my maps pops up for review I'm excited to share the feeling. It's been consistent 99%of time and that's great. Turn table, classic rock, soul, blues and even foreign hits...Nice place in legendary Harlem Hamilton Heights. Go uptown. There s me having my bday shot. I had one in every spot around my neighborhood. Fun spot.

What a wonderful place to have a drink! Nice bourbon selection (only place in the area serving Blanton's), in addition to wine, & cocktails. Vinyl music always playing & because it's a small place, there's always neighborly conversation as it is a locals hangout. The post pandemic staff is so friendly & always there to offer a great time. Chris, Joseph, Kat, Keith, Peter, Seth, & Topher are some of the best bartenders in NYC. Highly recommend!

Was a great bar until one of their regulars, anta, attempted to have me physically assaulted in the bar due to mistaken identity, and the owners are apparently okay with that, despite a strict ban on fighting, and still welcome her. A shame, it was a good bar and I was friends with all the staff. Miss the place but won’t be back until the owners live up to their principles.

Great cozy spot for bourbon, cheap beer, and tunes playing on a record player. The service was friendly and efficient. They have a solid menu of bourbon forward drink options. Also, it's hard to pass up a happy hour where beer is $2, wine is $5, and the cocktail of the week is $10. Seemed to be a mostly local crowd which is always a nice thing in New York.

Yo this place is a freaking vibe. Super small space all locals, very friendly, little to no menu, but order what you want and the bar tender my be able to provide. Insanely friendly nice staff... Literally came back a day later and the bar tender remembered our drink order from the night before. This a sitcom in real life people

Excellent cocktail bar in Hamilton Heights. The bartenders really know hoe to make an amazing drink. If you're looking for something specific or off menu, they'll happily help you out. Have brought multiple friends to this place and have enjoyed every time. They also have some cheese or meat plates if you're feeling peckish.

Very cool and chill uptown bar with what seems to be hundreds of different bourbon options. They even carry some rare and hard to find Bourbons which I was pleasantly surprised to see and try. Bar is small but bartenders are friendly and attentive. A great uptown bar you should definitely visit if you’re in the area.

I love bourbon. And maybe there might be only one or two bars in NYC that can compete with the array of bourbons here. I doubt you can find them at this price -- and nothing beats his neighborhood for friendly, inclusive vibe. And the barkeeps mix a great mint julep, Sazerac, Manhattan, or Boulevardier.

Great selections. Very nice décor. Great staff. Ask for a whiskey, they will offer it, and say something like, "If you like that one, try this one..." Makes a world of difference when the staff is knowledgeable and cares. Not an upsell, but just a genuine hospitable, knowledge of spirits. Top notch!

Witnessed, personally. Ice for a drink that fell on the floor that was put into a customer's drink. Need to call for city inspection which i have done. I suggest you purchase only pre-packaged (bottled) beverages to ensure safety. City adgecies notified for your protection.

Absolutely loved our experience! Cat was ahmazing and was so friendly. Definitely a 10 outta 10 experience and will hopefully come back on our next adventure ! Joseph was absolutely great as well. If you have a chance to take a late night drink here definitely do it!

Very low key, small and airy spot. These types of bars are not easy to find uptown. Went there for a happy hour and Barry White and Michael Jackson vinyl records playes on their record player . Very good for people watching from their wide open frontage.

Uptown Bourbon is a fantastic, cozy little joint. I haven't eaten anything from the limited food menu, but the cocktails are top-notch and the atmosphere is always enhanced by the excellent old school music from the record player at the end of the bar.

Nice cozy bar. An impressive selection of very hard to get bourbons here. Kind of stuff you can’t find at normal stores. Definitely warrants a visit every time I’m in need of some great whiskey when I’m uptown. Strongly recommended.

This is a reliably good bar, with a local, cozy atmosphere. My boyfriend first introduced me to it, and I love bringing people here. Love the vinyl selections. One of my top picks in the neighborhood. (Lion’s Tail is my drink!)
