AVOID!! Spent over $300 over multiple appts after asking to go platinum blonde from a darker blonde. The first two appts were done by an apprentice which suggested ombre with a root fade. The root fade came up too far which she fixed at my next appt (but I did have to pay an extra $80-90 for this). Overall my experience with her was ok and when booking my 3rd appt I was told she doesn't work there anymore as she wasn't qualified like she thought she was. I'm not sure how/ why you wouldn't check this when hiring staff?? Or if it was just kept a secret to avoid issues. My last appt was with the owner Corina. I had root powder/ lightener, a bleach bath and toner. After 3 hours, I came home with purple/ grey throughout the roots, unwashed underneath and patchy orange/ yellow sections that were very noticeable with my hair up. I'm not sure why my hair wasn't checked at the end of the appt (which another apprentice had washed, dried and straightened) while the owner worked on other clients.. even though my appt was booked with herself. I arrived on time while she was outside having a smoke.. and waited 10 mins past my appt time to be seen. Very unprofessional to say the least. The whole experience was disheartening as I've had to spend all this money to constantly come back and have something fixed and my hair has suffered for it! I contacted the salon and expressed I didn't feel comfortable returning for the fix-up that was offered. I am still waiting for a refund! I ended up having my hair fixed elsewhere by a professional with 15 yrs experience for the same price and couldn't be happier with my platinum blonde after all this trouble and time wasted. It seems all the positive reviews are either fake or from biased family and friends..

I came to Up In The Cloud hair and beauty based on a recommendation. I explained to Corina what I wanted but also said I didn't want to ruin my hair. Corina listened and gave me advice on the best way to achieve my request. I walked out with beautiful looking and feeling hair. I've since been to Corina around 7 times for my root colour, foils, toner, treatment, trim, blow dry and straighten. I always walk out happy and feeling refreshed! Corina is a wonderful hair dresser and I couldn't recommend her and her team (Casey and Toyah) more highly. The girls are lovely and are amazing at their job. Their prices are extremely competitive. Give them a go, I guarantee you won't be disappointed ❤️. Thank you ladies!!

I booked an appointment online for the 11th of August. Came in and they said they forgot to book it in. So they made me stand outside in the cold to wait for someone. I was getting a treatment and fixing my haircut. I wanted a nice relaxing treatment as it was a girls night for me. But instead I got my wet hair dripping down my neck, rough head massage with no relaxation. Kids screaming and running around from the owner. No one spoke to me apart from asking me what I want done and about payment. Haircut was good but make me feel embarrassed for my botched haircut. Do not go here, they are unprofessional and terrible. I had a better experience at missjune hair salon, so much more relaxing and cared for.

A less then relaxing experience. Lots of people always in and out the salon (not customers/clients), tension between staff. Staff seem under qualified and over booked. Booked for a belayage which is generally a full head of foils with backcombing. I had bleach applied as a block colour and no foils at all. Finishing style was less then adequate. Had a blow dry and a “straighten” but only the top layer was straightened. Had to seek a fix up elsewhere as there was no way I trusted them to “fix” the mess they made. Would not recommend if you want to leave the salon feeling happy, relaxed and satisfied.

these girls dont even know how to layer hair. also dont think they know the meaning of the word friendly. a smile goes a long way. i think the girls name was elsa. made for a very uncomfortable experience. she couldnt wait to knock off and that was clear. is only capable of putting one layer in apparently ? my hair is laughable it looks like im growing out a mullet will never go back. got sick of trying to spell out to her what i wanted and thought stuff it ill go somewhere else and get them to fix it.

Went to get my hair done as a treat before I get married next month. Was completely botched. Worst haircut I've ever had in my life and im completely devastated. Was dyed all over my head and neck and face and took days to come off. Was offered a wash and blow dry initially when I complained and then offered a 'fix' but id never go back. My hair was done by the owner who worked on me, my mum and two other customers at once. Very disappointing experience.

I literally cannot thank Corina and her team enough for the work they did on my hair today. The girls cut and coloured my hair and extensions, then installed them, and went above and beyond to make me look and feel so much better about myself. Seriously, they worked on my hair for five and a half hours and were so friendly and kind the whole way through. 100% recommend this salon and these lovely staff. This will be my regular salon from now on.

I would never recommend this salon to anyone. Corinna wrecked my hair and it took so long to come good again. She left foils in my hair far too long and burnt my hair, for months my hair was breaking off and so brittle and dry. I'm surprised this salon is still open. I had my make-up done also for my 50th it looked atrocious I washed it off when I got home..Waste of money. I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get my hair healthy again

Haven’t been to this salon in 2 years and will never go back. My hair is just growing back to a length where it isn’t a mullet after bleach was left on my hair for too long causing breakage and leaving me with 3cm pieces of hair. They knew my hair was screwed and didn’t say anything.

I used to absolutely love coming to this hair dresser and would always leave with good results. My most recent experience I left with crooked cut hair, severely damaged hair and inconsistent colour in my hair. Will not be returning as now my hair is unfixable!!

One of the best places I have had my hair done however my Daughter worked there and she had a fallout with the owner and now I’m told by the owners partner that I’m not welcome there. I will still give the business 5 stars just wish they were more professional.

The owner has absolutely NO people skills, she is rude, doesn’t listen, loves bleach. Charges through the roof and doesn’t even speak to you as she does your hair, ran out of her shop while doing my hair cut ‍♀️ completely wrecked my hair and it fell out! …

Salon is quite well presented given the area. Clean, tidy Staff were friendly and kind :) My haircuts that I have gotten from here have all been fine & I have been happy with the competitive pricing. Much cheaper than places like Justcuts for example.

Used to come here often for my hair, had it done nice the first time but on the second visit I noticed a lot of my hair was cut uneven, my foils were left on too long which has affected the skin on my head. I will not be coming back! Do not recommend
