First thing - clean toilets. Any place on the highway worth considering must have it, and this place does Food is simple fair, it is authentic Udupi style, and very tasty. We all over-ate. There is a self service section, which those in a hurry may be willing to use. We sat in AC section with full service. The place is neat and clean, service is prompt. There is plenty of parking. Location is not as great (or crowded) as some other places on the road - it is about 1km after Sri Sri Ravishankar place when coming from Bangalore - MTR and most other restaurants are right opposite Sri Sri place The owner came out and asked everyone about the food and service

Udupi garden is located on Kanakapura Main road very close to Sri Sri Ravishankar ashram. The place has ample parking space and is very appealing by its exterior. The ambience is really nice We had ordered for Masala papad, Babycorn Manchurian, crispy American corn, kadai paneer, south Indian meals. The service was really fast. Masala papad, Manchurian and crispy corn were too spicy inspite of asking them to make it less spicy. Babycorn had turned soggy as probably it was already ready and only reheated while serving. While all the starters tasted nice but as it was too spicy we couldn't have it. Kadai paneer was perfect and tasted nice. South Indian meals was below average.

GOOD FOOD AFTER A GOOD LONG DRIVE We visited this restaurant twice during leisure drive to Kanakapura Road. Its a relatively new restaurant, but so far everything is in order in terms of quality, taste and satisfaction. I feel that very soon this restaurant is going to attract many people as the management and staff seemed to be seasoned at the job. Our favorite here are all South Indian dishes. We never miss 'Idli-Sambar Dip' with the extra helping of piping hot Udupi Sambar. Other dishes that we like are Masala Dosa, Khara Bhat and Ghee Roast. Once we tried Spring Dosa which also turned out to be delicious. The restaurant has an outdoor 'self-service' area and an indoor 'serviced' area which is also airconditioned. The tables are close-by like any other restaurant hence the place turns noisy during peak hours. They also have a party hall to organize events. There is ample parking space here and there is always a security guard to help with parking. One of the best vegetarian restaurants on the Kanakpura road. We have visited over the weekend during our long drive and this is situated near Art Of Living. Awesome food, great parking space, they have both self service and service area, friendly staff, quick service. Highly recommended

I came here for breakfast, definitely I did not like this place. food is okay but staffs are arrogant and very rude especially in the self service desk. this is not what I expected from place like Udupi Garden, I ordered three masala dosa and one open dosa and curd vada, but the masala dosa is very average not upto the expectation, staffs should learn at least some basics manners in treating customers. Never want to come again to this place.

Loved the restaurant both for its cuisine and its hospitality. The staff are very courteous especially those who attend to the customers in the seating area. The layout is spacious and well maintained. This is the best option on the highway for breakfast. Idli, dose, coffee were good. Parking is not an issue on weekdays. Prices are on the higher side but worth it given taste and hospitality. Best choice if you are on this stretch of the highway.
