One of the missed gems in the shadow of the LA Coliseum. On the University of Southern California's campus, this small gallery shows changing exhibits. Last time we were there, the Fisher was showing (in conjugation with the Getty Gallery) a James Brown retrospective. Very modern and multi-media that showed the artist development over a period of time from his youth to today. Exhibits are normally topical and modern and free of charge to visit.

Some pretty incredible student work on display right now, as well as an exhibit of local LA artists. I really enjoy the atmosphere, the space is very nice and well curated. You can enter from either outside of the campus or inside from the lawn. I believe it's free for everyone, but definitely free for students.

Small museum with generally good quality exhibits. Limited hours of operation. The gates in front of the museum were locked and closed this weekend (although this may be due to current circumstances in Middle East at this writing). Entry is through other open gates nearby.

Beautiful, hidden gem. We visited from Vancouver and really enjoyed the vast array of artifacts on display here. The staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable. Good mix of traditional museum pieces and more avant-garde exhibits. If you’re at USC this is a must visit place, plus its free!

This was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We saw the Louise Bourgeois exhibit. Fascinating to learn about her!

Beautifully curated exhibits and events, a more warm and helpful welcome from the security and skeleton shift, and a wonderful feel make this a must-visit and real adventure.

Kind of wonderful day walking around USC. You need to download an app onto your phone in order to get a pass to get on campus but it's beginning to open up.

You forget this campus is over 90 years old...but doing underground work here will remind you of that when trying to find a clear path to dig!

I went to see then and now, It was an amazing instillation about holocaust survivors and then play that bring it to the current day.

Awesome place to go to. But if you plan to stay for a couple hours, this is not your place.

There was only one exhibit open after opening back up, but hope to see more in the future.
