When I returned the truck I was told it was dirty and the only visible issue was water spilled from the washer. when I came in the rent the truck I was not made aware of the cleaning policy so I did not know it had to be spotless when returning the vehicle back to the location, the associate working was rude and did not provide good customer service. The manager on duty also provided poor customer service but did not charge me for any additional charges due to the associate speaking to me unprofessionally. My suggestion would be to make customer aware of the cleaning policy when picking up a truck and also to speak with the associates working at the location on how to provide good customer service. Just mainly how to speak to consumers when doing business.

I was abandoned by PODS and needed a solution the same day as I was getting kicked out of my apartment and needed to move that day. I was anxious, tired, and frustrated (as one can be while moving). I got to this facility, and Kathy welcomed me with a smile and was reassuring. Kathy Stewart was incredibly helpful and flexible in helping me find a solution quickly. She looked through every option to get me the best deal, at the fastest rate, and all while helping me keep my sanity. I highly recommend this UHAUL facility above others, the staff knows what they’re doing and what options are best for the customer!!!

I came here to get a hitch installed onto my Rav4. I was told it would be a couple hours so I got an Uber home. The MINUTE I arrived home I got a call from UHAul and the man explained that he isnt able to put the hitch on because the bolts on my car were rusted. He said I would need to take them to a dealer and have them replaced by Toyota. One week later my boyfriend(who knows nothing about cars) was able to removed the bolts himself and installed the hitch. The guys at this UHaul are so incompetant, all they had to do was spray the bolts to clean off some of the rust and wait a few minutes.

This place is Phenomenal if you need A U-Haul in the Charlotte area come here and ask for Randall Decker Edinger he's super friendly and very helpful he goes out of his way to help you out. The facility he runs is clean and well organized and extremely Knowledgeable you honestly can't get much better as far as U-Haul dealerships go in this area. Was dropping off rental for my daughter at this location. FINALLY found someone to help me that wasn't on their CELL PHONE. Not enthusiastic in regards to assisting patrons. Numerous people waiting, no one helping. Refused to accept my rental at this location. Was told I had to return to original place where I had rented. Such a MESS !!!

Fantastic location. Friendly staff and clean vehicles. Pick up truck rentals are $19.99 and 79 cent a mile. Small Uhaul trucks are going for the same rate. I would highly recommend that you book online and check in online to save time at the counter. Major credit cards or debit cards are accepted. No Cash App or Prepaid cards !

Luster the manager is very rude! Customer services is a zero here! Front counter reps was nice ! Waited over 30 mins to be refunded my money! He didn’t apologize my contact wasn’t completed the correct way wasn’t able to enter my mileage and they over Charged and didn’t apologize told me it was on me I would be okay!

The Best experience at 1530 Ashley rd. Danielle the store manager went over and beyond to help make my out-of-state move a success. Very intune with my needs welcoming, and was very involved.. which made my move stress free as well as her team of staff.... Thanks Danielle for all your help Sincerely Karen

Owner Lester is rude and doesn’t care at all about customer service. He is the main reason of this review. I wish I could go lower than a 1 Star. If you need a U-Haul I recommend driving out of your way to avoid this place. He doesn’t deserve the position he’s in or to carry the name of U-Haul.

Great experience this weekend. Did the online check in, ran in to grab the keys, was in and out in under 10 minutes. Truck worked great, and dropping off was even easier than picking up. Everyone we met on the staff were so nice and very helpful. Will definitely rent from here again!

Great staff. I've had a few bad experiences in the past renting trucks, but they folks at Ashley Rd. U-Haul made me forget all about that. They were courteous and helpful and did all they could to help out. Really just a great experience that changed my view of U-Haul. Very nice.

Have been a faithful customer to this location for several years, even with changes in the staff the service has been excellent. I have done business with other locations in Charlotte but they don't compare to this location. Friendly, knowledgeable and pretty humorous at times.

I reserved a truck in advance and they didn't keep my reservation. Made me find a different truck at a U-Haul 10 miles away. I didn't have a car, they would not even drive me to the new location. I had to take an Uber.

We have moved into a new home Jan 3rd and they were very kind and met our needs accordingly. The process to get and return the truck was very fast.
