Honest review A 35 per person is charged to go in this applies to your game card. Not alot of fun games very limited unless if you're into gaming I suggest you go to the VR sections they fill up fast it does cost way more No parking you won't see the sign until they open when they do they'll place a sign that states that you have to find parking around the neighborhood which if you have ever been around here parking is rare. You have to find parking on the street. In case you didn't know this part of L.A is consider dangerous becareful where you park tons of alleys and homeless encampments.. There's parking lots they cost 24 per day they fill out really fast even before the place opens. Drinks are okay just like any other place however if it's your bday you'll get a free drink ticket for 1 drink The patio is nice Customer service is great inside however you'll see security just chilling on their phones lol not really security but it's w.e most dangerous stuff is around the place not inside. Mask are not required which is awesome however make sure you clean your hands frequently! We didn't see anyone wiping the machines. There's an upstairs where you can lounge and relax but depending on the day and time it can be closed. They have like mini shows they're cool Alternatives around the area theres an actual arcade bar in that area tons of arcade games better drinks and from our experience we met alot of new friends there. Also if on a date try Urth Cafe it's nice also Madcap motel is near if you're on a date and they like pictures There's cool backgrounds there. Overall Two Bit Circus is nice but there's plenty of better locations. The front staff is super kind Also to get in faster make sure to have your waiver signed

I would really like to give this five stars, and if I was 16 years old, I just might. But as a fully rendered adult, I have not been in a space with that many teenagers at once since I was a teenager myself, and that is just a very weird place to be hanging out having drinks with friends. That said, it's a really well crafted experience, once you get past the front desk/ticketing situation which is bizarre and seems to take way longer than necessary. But what do I know. There's a smattering of Old School arcade games (ei: Ms. Pacman), a decent amount of VR headset games, and around the edges of the room are some seemingly custom build larger themed experiences which I think is the stuff that really separates this place from just another arcade place with bar food and drinks, which this also is. The food is a blend of circus snacks and school cafeteria fare, all of which is mediocre, but if you're here to critique the food, you are completely missing the point. The bar is decently stocked, and depending on who's at the stick, you could probably get whatever you wanted. Although, so far I've had some canned beers and shandy's) There's a side room for special events and such. The art design of the space has a circus/magic forest vibe which works surprisingly well together. Bathrooms were clean. By far the most charming game in the room was the life-sized hungry hungry hippos which is both utterly silly and perfectly rendered.

Our visit to the arcade was disappointing. Despite making prior arrangements for our night, arriving at 8:30 PM revealed a disappointing reality: a lot of the machines were out of order, and the few that did function weren’t all that exciting. We were eager to try the VR games, but those required advance scheduling, further limiting our options. To compound the letdown, the bar closed much earlier than expected. Additionally, when we ordered food (which I wouldn't recommend), half of it was forgotten due to the rush of closing time. (I must mention that the waitress did try her best to salvage the situation. She kindly offered us sodas and seemed to do her utmost within the circumstances.) Overall, the place had an unpleasant vibe – it felt dirty. It’s a shame because we had high hopes for a fantastic night of gaming, but it just didn't hit the mark.

Has potential but unfortunately we were unable to play a lot of the games. They use a Dave and Busters like system only the card readers for the popular games are all broken. They constantly say restarting network and can't connect to wifi. We went on a Friday night and they closed the kitchen early and when we asked about the broken games they said their tech had gone home. The only good thing is the story rooms. We had fun playing those but you have to reserve them so it can be challenging to get into them. For the price I would recommend planning just to do 1 or 2 story rooms and move on. Last I am pretty sure the card readers ate a considerable amount of our money as we all had the same amount and played the exact same games yet some of us were out way before the others. When we asked they said they checked and we didn't lose any money.

Was in town, and came to Two Bit Circus for a fun date night! We had a reservation (don't think it was needed) and we each had a $50 play card, which was way too much for each of us. Might have $20 left (we kept the cards, if we potentially come back in the future) The venue itself is nice and spacious with a variety of games. There is a bit of outdoor seating as well. The huge letdown of the night was the a lot of the games had malfunctions or had faulty sensors, which ruined some of the competition of the night. Some of the games were also just completely off. Food was subpar. Staff at the bar is friendly. Overall, similar to a Dave & Buster's, but a more spacious venue. All the games definitely need to be checked. We were able to park down the street without any issues.

It costs about $40 per person. (general admissions) They give you enough credits to play the smaller games. If you want to try the virtual reality games or escape rooms, you will have to pay more. You can buy a drink with the card they give you or you can pay debit. No cash though. You see a lot of people wearing anime costumes, masks, tails and what not. The drink I got was tasty . I like how mostly every game has a cup holder. Didn't get to try the food. If you're looking for something unique to do on the weekend, check out Two Bit Circus. (kind of expensive though)

Went here for my birthday back in September. Was excited to go but upon arrival was disappointed with everything. Prices were too high and they nickel and dime you to truly experience everything. The credits they give you are used to buy everything else which also sucks and it’s not even enough. I still do t understand why everyone needs a waiver and a card if they are not actively playing any games. If I just want to sit at the bar and eat I should be able to do that without having to fill out a waiver. If I choose to play games then I could see where a waiver might be needed but not for arcade games. Maybe for the escape rooms. Probably won’t go back.

This place is fun! There is technically no admission fee, but you need to buy bits on these reusable cards in order to enter. Bits can be used on food, drink, and games. They seem to run frequent promotional packages; when we went, they had an Easter special where $100 got us 4 cards with $25 each (2,000 bits total) plus a bonus card with 1,000 bits for the arcade games. The games occasionally break down, so you’ll need to ask them to send support staff out to help. Nevertheless, the three of us were well-entertained by most of the games in the Midway, and I had a blast with their Beatsaber setup (the headset is much heavier than an Oculus).

We did the quad package ($50 per person) and it’s sooo worth it, we got to reserve at least 4-5 VR times and still played arcade games with the point cards you receive. They let you pay the difference at VR if you don’t have enough points. You can use your points toward food and beverage as well. Only reason it’s not 5 star though is bc the food is bowling alley/ school lunch vibes. Lol the drinks are slightly overpriced and nothing special as well but the bar area is very pretty. No cash! They have outdoor seating which is cute. It’s a bit smaller than I imagined but it’s family friendly and a good time for sure!

  • Dan Marmor

Just look at this guy. This is what you look like when you’re waiting for the people to take off your goggles. In the void. You’re in a void, and you can’t leave until somebody helps you leave, and there you are, staring at a wall. This is life. Is it over? Can I leave? No. Wait and stand close to this wall. Did you have fun shooting virtual zombies? Did you? Think about it for a moment longer while you stay there for a bit in that void, in that eternal hell of waiting for somebody to remove your goggles. Contemplate. Contemplate. Contemplate. and then play connect four with basketballs!

  • Chris

Went for a comedy show - complete waste of time and money. Horrible sound stage, bad customer service, and crackling speaker system. Freezing room. $28 ticket, $28.75 for parking, $20 gift card they force you to buy upon entry. If you are going to overcharge me at least be nice to me. Left after 3rd comic, waited 20 minutes for valet who was alone and had too many cars to handle. Tipped him extra because it feels like the kind of place that wouldn't give him his charged tips. Just got to Hollywood Improv or Comedy Store- its a quality product worth the money. This was a bad joke.

Pretty fun, wholesome time. Their servers often have to reset that create delays. I don't find their story rooms to be that persuasive. I think escape rooms are better for team play. The games in the Midway Arena are pretty inventive, mildly physical and fun. I would say those games are really what makes Two Bit Circus feel unique. No parking which is a bit of a pain in this area. Lots are not that close and there's street parking but without normal landmarks that make it easy to find your car (so recommend dropping a pin).

  • Trista Montgomery

This place is okay. They had some good games, and the VR stuff was cool! Many of the games didn't work or were broken. The bar area is nice and you can see everything from it (in case you want to drink while kids play). It's a great idea but they really need to work on fixing the broken games and having a better card reader signal. Also it's kinda confusing on how you pay but basically you just pay every using "bits" which you buy when you come in. Also they don't have parking so that sucks.

  • Austin Johnson

It was a really fun place to see. They host events behind their building sometimes as well, like the giggity golf (Family guy themed mini golf.) They host multiple events throughout the year. There are also multiple arcade games, some escape room scenarios, and even VR games you can do. Thursdays are also college night so you get an extra $5 to play a couple games with if you’re a student. They also have a small bar on site as well. Very fun, and a great way to get a couple hour date.

  • M B

This place is really fun. If you love arcade games karaoke, virtual reality games, Good food good drinks. This place is fun for large groups, small groups, dates, adults, and children. The food is really good. The happy hour specials are awesome. I love how they have the virtual reality games. The customer service was awesome and the employees are very friendly. I highly recommend this location it's a different type of gaming experience.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon with my family. It was very fun and refreshing for us all. It is a bit pricey but nonetheless we enjoyed the atmosphere. We played the arcade games, tried the VR, and the escape room. Would definitely recommend, giving 4 stars rather than 5 only because some games didn't work, the guns at the VR games weren't working properly and some of the hoses in the escape room we tried did not work.

  • Brandy Flower

This place is incredibly overpriced and lame. They make groups spend a minimum of $1250 to rent a space and buy their overpriced food and beer. A pitcher of beer (with 3.5) beers cost $35! A bunch of games were broken, all of the specialty games were "booked". Staff was nice but whole place is corny (in a bad way) and awkward. Not recommended in any way...such a letdown and total waste of money. Do not go

  • Raymond (Ray Ray)

It was my first time here. Not quite as big as I thought it would be, the arcade games were mostly ok, a few were pretty cool ones thou. The food was average to above average, don't expect a lot of choices. Honestly, I would've gave it 2 and a half stars, but that virtual Zombie game was NICE! I really liked that, so because of that, I'll give Two Bit Circus 3 and a half stars.

  • Carl Can

This place is an awesome mini circus, Virtual Reality, and arcade spot for couples or small groups. I had so much fun with very unique carnival games. I paid $35.00 for the basic package with enough bits (points) to play and grab a drink for a couple hours. It's nice that the bits (points on your card) can pay for all the games, beverages, and food. I will come back again.

  • Travis Pryor

A fun time for sure but I would definitely recommend only getting the $20 package. If you're into traditional arcade games then you might want to spend more. I really wanted to play the VR games but most aren't included, so purchasing more didn't make sense. I'd definitely recommend the interactive experiences though. They are worth the admission price.

  • Wayne Kimball, Jr.

SUPER FUN, but rather pricey! Lots of cool VR games and experiences, including tech-enabled team strategy games (similar to Escape Room). I was particularly excited to play SkeeBall - a childhood favorite! They also have a separate room and upstairs area which is great for parties, events and corporate team outings. The food is pretty good as well.

  • Luis Arellano

Overpriced and not worth it, first it’s in DTLA and there is no parking, so if you wanna park on the property you gotta pay like $40. And then 1/4 of the games don’t work. Some of the VR games also don’t work. I spent too much money on games and definitely don’t recommend. It might be worth it if you only go for the VR games. 3/10

Seems cool in theory but there are too little games, and out of those games, so many out of order. Any of the games you actually want to play are extra, and I don’t really know if there’s an online sign up but we went at 6:30 and all the story games were already full up. Very expensive for a sad man’s face and busters.

  • Mark A. Suen

This place is amazing! It's like Dave and Busters x1000! Awesome VR games, super fun multi-player arcade and fair/circus style games, a great bar, restaurant and so much more!! Perfect for a party, corporate group, date night, family outing with kids or just a fun evening with friends!

  • Alejandra Diaz

Came for a fun date night — we went during happy hour which was a great deal! Covered about an hour of games excluding any vr or escape rooms. There were a handful of games that were out of order. I wish there were more arcade game options! Overall, I’d say it’s worth checking out!

  • Rachel Homan

The pinball machines are very fun and the best room experience they have is the raft. Highly recommend the raft room if you like VR. It is smaller than a dave and busters but great for groups.

This place is awesome!! Virtual reality stations everywhere alongside classic arcade and carnival games. The food is great (I was pleasantly surprised that the vegan options were so good)! Definitely a great, new spot in LA for friends and families to have some fun.

  • Ross

They changed their rules now so that everyone has to pay a $35 minimum before entering. Staff is now pretty rude and impatient. Even if one person wants to play and one does not, you can’t come in without everyone laying that fee, so the bar isn’t an option either

  • Emily Clark

I visited Two Bit Circus with my friends, and it was an amazing experience. We all had a great time, and I especially loved the variety of attractions. Adding my own personal touch to the reviews – this place is a must-visit for all the fun-seekers out there!

  • Ghost Wright

Don’t listen to the picky reviews, this place is worth the money! The fact that you can load a card and use it for EVERYTHING including food & beverages is top tier. This is by far one of the best arcade experiences I’ve ever been to. I definitely recommend.

  • Brandi Carroll

Such a fun place to go with a group of friends, teammates, or co workers! Service was excellent and the food was bomb. If youre looking for warm meatless options, the Impossible tacos and fried cauliflower were delicious

  • Celine Villafuerte

Loved my experience here! My bf took me as a surprise for my birthday and had lots of fun. They have lots of options for VR games and I definitely recommend the game rooms. The candy factory game room was really fun!

  • Tito Mejia

Second time here and we played Mario Cart religiously with my old soccer teammate. Had blast here and the games were cool.

Last night was our second time going. This time we took our teenagers. They loved it. My husband and I sat at the bar with Amy as our bartender. She was amazing. Attentive and personable. We will be back.

  • Nicole Timmons

Took my daughter here for her 24th birthday and we had a ball. The story rooms are fun will definitely go again! Some of the games are a but pricey

  • Imaan

It's a cool and unique place with lots of VR game options, kept clean, with friendly staff. I felt the prices are too high though.

  • Jose Beltran

Nice event venue where they have plenty of video games Pizza and drinks at accessible prices.
