The hotel had only been open a few days when we came to stay so as you might expect, it was exceptionally clean, tidy and in good repair. As with other Travelodges we've stayed at the room and facilities are basic - don't expect luxury toiletries or a hairdryer. If you're staying more than one day (and you really should because subsequent nights are so much cheaper) then you will need to request a top-up of tea/coffee etc because your room will not be serviced during your stay. Peckham is a bustling area with many things to keep the visitor entertained so you won't need to spend much time in the hotel which is just as well because, other than a vending machine in a small lobby, there is no public space to hang about in if you tire of your room. The only problem we had during out stay was with our room card keys which had to be reset each day but this was dealt with promptly and efficiently by the staff who at all times were professional and welcoming. In summary, this hotel is a low-cost option for anyone wanting to explore Peckham, Southwark, South London.

NEVER AGAIN! Be careful! Travelodge is a greedy and disgraceful company who hides behind irrational policies and small loopholes to get your money. Its disgusting! We booked our holidays in London Peckham and using the app we wanted to know what are our options in changing the dates and the hotel (in a different location) that is 3 weeks prior to our arrival 3 WEEKS. Using the app, we clicked on "cancel booking" that was it! They took all the money and canceled our reservation with one click! One click! The interface of the app is awfully poor, the arrow for cancellation looked like it will provide you with more information NOT cancel the booking immediately with one click. When contacting them for a refund or to get our reservation back they simply said that it cannot happen and did not provide us with any other options. I could deal with a penalty or a small charge for rebooking but to get all the money and not offer any solutions is a complete disgrace. Shame on people behind such companies. Never again!

I would have given 5 stars if we hadn't had to pay such a lot for one night. The staff were lovely and it was clean, comfortable and close to where we needed to be. Could have done with a bathmat and some hand towels but it was late when we got back so we managed till morning.

Bed was great, shower excellent just needed bath mat and hand towels. The floor got very wet when stepping out of the shower and we had nothing to mop it up with. It was dry by morning but had to finish drying myself in the room rather than bathroom.

Fabulous. We stayed 10 nights and had a great stay. All staff were really friendly and always available. Room was lovely and warm and totally soundproofed. Buses to all over London within a few minutes walk. A Wetherspoons within a couple of minutes - ideal for breakfasts and evening drinks, there’s also a greasy spoon virtually next door that serves great breakfasts - don’t miss the pie and mash house nearby - you’ll be queuing for it opening at 10am. Brilliant stay.

, Clean room polite staff. But….towels had marks on them and there was no remote control for the TV, No instructions how to work it either. Faced a wall and windows didn’t open. Felt abit claustrophobic! 1st floor this was… and sharing a hotel with a dog allowed in a room put me off staying again! Uber stopped on the other side of a extremely busy road or it was awkward for them to stop and you to get in.

Fabulous soundproofing! The hotel is brand new and situated on a busy street, but you can't hear anything inside the room apart from occasional police siren as the station is nearby. AC- vital in summer - worked great and silently. Bed was comfy, too! Great budget option

Clean rooms though small. Very helpful staff. The recommended car park is at least 5 minutes walk, but the Morrisons car park is convenient for loading and unloading luggage from cars, and is free for 2 hours.

I arrived at 10pm and the room wasn't ready! Then I came back 20 minutes later, and it still wasn't ready so waited another 10 minutes. Travelodge are usually more professional & efficient than this.
