The park is very well taken care of. People are all friendly. Sites are close but they enforce parking on your site so it is still comfortable. We stayed a week and was good place to take the river walk to see the missions. Took the bus the 3 miles to the river walk. Only negative is the area, it's very industrial and they have had issues with bikes being stolen if left out on your site. But they tell you and do try to watch out and keep the place safe. There was a pool, hot tub, playground, dog park. WiFi was useable for video calls and work during the day but the park wasn't very crowded so plenty of bandwidth. Also had 5g Verizon service Across the street was some good Mexican food and around the corner was south bbq which was very good. Went to both multiple times during our stay. If you're still reading give us a like and if you want more RV, adventure, and food reviews give us a follow as we work our way across the US, CA, MX. Also look for our lists with national parks, state parks, road side attractions.

Safety
The park felt very safe, but once outside the area is very industrial and as you go north toward down town it looks like an inner city. Plenty of homeless, drug, mental people all around. But don't let that stop you from getting out and seeing the sights of the city
Walkability
This park is right on the river walk so you can easily go for a nice walk and see 4 missions that are walk to short bike ride away. We rented bikes and dropped them at each mission so we didn't have to worry about stolen bikes. Other than the river walk and across the street for food you really wouldn't want to walk to many places.
Noteworthy details
Great food in the area try the Mexican place across the street, we went back several times. Also try south around the corner(Google it) the brisket was amazing and we have a separate review for both of those places. Groceries are close by too. Follow the instructions to get to the park there were some train tracks that had a100 ft 12% grade on each side. Some small cars scraped going over, our lifted truck had no issues but if you had a trailer or were in a long van this will cause some damage.

Thank God I got my money back! I did not feel welcome here at all. I was lied too about if I could fit my second car in my space I did not have to pay for a separate parking space for 150$ a month. Well when we arrived story changed to it doesn’t matter if you can fit your car or not it’s 150$ extra a month if you have a second vehicle. Issue number 2 they put us in a horrible space with broken concrete. It was unlevel by 3 inches. We arrived at night and I knew right away that I was unhappy with our space. So in the morning I went to office to explain that our space was to small and that it was unlevel. The woman had a major attitude. I was told about 2 other available spaces. We looked at them. They were smaller than ours. I was told that they would do nothing about it being unlevel. Not “we can’t do anything” literally told “ we will not do anything about that.” So I said ok how about a more expensive space. You have some nice looking pull threw sites. She said “ absolutely not” I don’t allow monthly people in our pull threw sites. Ok my boyfriend and I left immediately to go check out other rv parks in the area. We found one 20 minutes away. It is wonderful!!! Also the electric is included in price of rent and it’s cheaper than travelers world. Our space is huge and guess what it’s level! I really didn’t think travelers world would give me my money back by their attitude, but thank goodness they did. That’s the only good thing I can say about them. At travelers world We also saw the biggest cockroach by the bbq at the club house.

I would give a 3.5. The location is really great for downtown access, either driving or by bus. It’s also right next to a trail on the river. The park itself is well maintained. The spaces are fairly close, but sites are level with paved patios. There does not seem to be enough bathrooms. We didn’t understand why some were cypher locked but we weren’t given the code. One of the washers took my quarters and wouldn’t operate. The office told me to call the 1-800 number on the washer. They were not helpful when we arrived early and asked to park our small trailer for a few hours. There seemed to be ample space, but they said no. Lastly, they called me twice our first day there to pay our remaining balance since we checked in after hours. They acted as if we were trying not to pay. Overall, I’d say customer service was lacking.

Great RV park! This place is clean, well maintained and has an amazing staff. The park is located on the Riverwalk which gives you hike and bike access to the missions, downtown San Antonio, Stinson Airport, parks, etc. The pool and hot tub are clean and nicely sized. When my grandson visited, he enjoyed the playground and miniature golf. There is an H‑E‑B, a Walmart and a CVS within easy driving distance. A good Mexican restaurant is just across the road. The staff is really very, very good. They are helpful and accommodating. It is always a pleasure to stay at Traveler’s World.Y’all enjoy. (By the way, we have stayed here many times over the last 3 years. )

WOW!!!! From off of Roosevelt, you would not believe the beautiful landscape, dog park, swimming pool, pickle ball and reception hall that is hidden behind the building. From the Staff to the permanent residence there, absolutely welcoming, kind and friendly. All the facilities were so clean. Would definitely be back to visit and enjoy the park itself.

You can not beat this location. Stayed 3 nights. Check-in was easy and the desk lady was so helpful and sweet. She can explain how to catch the bus to how to get onto the River Walk. She was great. They have a small off-leash dog park the was very clean. This place has lots of social amenities if you want to spend time in their clubhouse. Everything was clean and maintained. Would stay here again.

This place was surprisingly well kept and maintained. Compared to the neighborhood around this place, it was like a whole different city. Inside the park was immaculately maintained with a ton of amenities, sparkling clean pool, awesome rec center, even a place to lock up your bikes so they don't get stolen.

Comfortable park, and a great location if your main purpose is to explore San Antonio. Not a super scenic location, but the park itself is nice. Amenities are very nice, and the community looks active and friendly. Quite the Pickleball tournament going on while I was there. It is in close proximity to the "Riverwalk" trail, but quite a ways (miles) from the parts you probably would like to walk downtown.

Great location close to many of the attractions one goes to San Antonio for. Well kept grounds with decent sized pads. Cable was available, which is something i dont see often.
