I want to preface this by saying I do not write reviews often but I will when I feel compelled by good or bad service. First, the food is stellar; I recommend the Thai Flatbread. The problem is when I went to pick up my food (on May 10th, 2023) the bar tender was rude to me. A little edge is fine, but when all I did was give my first name instead of my last name as I didn’t hear the question correctly, the bar tender condescendingly said “there you go” as if I was dumb. Like dude, I’m sorry that me picking up food is an inconvenience to your restaurant(???). This alone is not going to get me to write a review because people have bad days, I know I do but on my previous visit I received the same rude treatment. I went to Towne Hall Lanes with my significant other for a celebration. We wanted to sit in the dining room instead of behind the bowling alley as it is a more casual feel. Because I was asking for an accommodation (there wasn’t any open tables in the dining portion of the restaurant) I was prepared to wait as I am not entitled to an accommodation when I go into a public place but I was rudely told this wasn’t an option because the large party that just left had moved two tables together and they couldn’t accommodate seating two diners at the now larger tables. Totally fair, I worked in a restaurant and I hated when small parties felt entitled to large tables as this literally costs the establishment money. We ended up dining behind the bowling alley and had a stellar tasting dinner. Upon exiting, I saw that the large table had been pulled apart and the two parties behind us had been seated at the now smaller tables… and they were parties of two. Sorry for rambling and I hope I don’t come OFF like a Karen but DONT ORDER TOWNE HALL LANES TAKE OUT UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH RUDE AND PAST THEIR PRIME HIPSTER APPEARING BARTENDERS.

Best dry rub wings and sweet potato fries I have ever had, IN MY LIFE! I have gluten and soy food allergies and the staff was accommodating, insightful, and helpful. They also let my senior parents order off the kids menu so they could have the walleye fish and chips. My mom said it was the best walleye she has ever had at a restaurant (she is a walleye aficionado). Drinks were well made. I was shocked how busy it was on a Monday night. There was only one server for awhile so it took time for drink orders and food orders to be taken; don't be in a hurry when you visit. That being said, I am still giving it 5 stars because the overall experience was phenomenal.

We came to Town Hall Lanes for a celebration at the end of a 10-week challenge for our kickboxing gym; we had such an amazing time! The place was a lot of fun, bowling was a blast and the atmosphere was great for conversation and mingling. The staff were so awesome, always helpful and polite, despite the likely overwhelming amount of people and things they were tasked with. The food was superb, plenty of options and even some pizza for those who didn't eat meat. Drinks were top notch, everyone enjoyed their various beverages. I would love to come here outside of the chaos of an event to just hang out and bowl. Great place, definitely worth visiting!

All I can say about this place is "YUM!" I ordered November's burger of the month, which was made with....LAMB! It was flavored with a distinctly Mediterranean twist. I loved it. The drink I ordered was an alcoholic chai beverage. It tasted a lot like egg nog and was quite enjoyable. The cheese curds I had for.my appetizer were better than the ones at the fair. They SLAPPED! The atmosphere was fun. The music was 90s alternative and reminded me that yes...we millenials are the grown ups now. I didn't bowl, but it looked like a blast!

There is a good selection of beer and cider to choose from. The food veers from typical bar fare to an elevated taste profile, so there is something for everyone. There are monthly specials for burgers and pizza that will tempt your taste buds.

Town Hall Lanes is one of my favorite go-to restaurants in Minneapolis. I go at least once month with friends and/or family. Every single one of their dishes, I have loved. They have perfect crispy french friends, pizza's are all delicious, wonderful salads and sandwiches. I have never been disappointed at any of the Town Hall establishments. The beer is perfect. They have something for everyone and their own beers is always great but they also have delicious rotating options! Love!

I remember this place as Skylanes growing up. Haven't been here since it changed. What a cute place, Our server was super nice and very knowledgeable regarding questions about the old Sky Lanes Bowling. The food is fantastic, We will definitely be back for Food and Bowling. Brought back so many memories of living in this beautiful city. We called it the place where every body knows your name. Sat by the window and saw some people we knew from when we lived here. ❤️

Came to Town Hall Lanes for my 1st time to meet some friends on a Tuesday night. Was fairly slow when I arrived but that meant we could get a lane right away. It was still happy hour (til 6) and the server was friendly and did a good job telling us the specials, etc. Bowling was fun and pretty cheap. Kind of a Minneapolis hidden gem. Will come back for sure.

I haven't had the chance to eat here yet, but the menu is interesting and the food I did see coming our of the kitchen looked good. The bar area is a fun spot, with a few bowling lanes next to it. Good list of bourbon options that rivals most in the Twin Cities.

A regular spot for us- nice HH though they don’t have it on the menus- you have to ask. We love their Masala MaMa IPA and Parkway Java Porter beers! Great chicken strips (though they stopped having chipotle ranch or honey mustard sauce- boo!!) and the sweet corn nachos with Parmesan mashed potatoes are awesome!

Open for dine in. Half capacity or less. A few lanes are open and available for use in the bowling alley. All staff are wearing appropriate face coverings. Delicious beer on tap. Very clearly marked social distancing techniques in use.

We didn't have time to bowl, but the Nashville chicken sandwich was great, and our server was phenomenal.

Arrived at 5 on a Friday. Got two lanes and some bevvies right quick. They brew their own beer so the server gave us a few good suggestions. Lots of fun for everyone (except the kid who wouldn't agree to bumpers).

Awesome staff with well prepared unique food. Waiter suggest an amazing bourbon with a friendly jest about my request to add a splash of coke - which I respect. Highly recommend sweet corn nachos (seen in photo).

We picked up a couple flatbread from here and they were delicious. We did the Thai one and supreme. One was a little burnt on one side of the crust but still good. Hostess and bartenders were very friendly.

Excellent food, superb beer, great staff, this is hands down one of my favorite local spots. The Maharaja pizza/flatbread is incredible.

this is one of those places you don't want to tell your friends about because it is such a clean cool place nice and laid back just a lot of fun here then on top of that the food's great.

Awesome service, wow! Half of our party was there and host allowed us to two lanes. Service was fast and excellent. Will definitely be coming back! The beer was delicious!

Great food and wonderful service. Highly recommend both types of nachos and the beer flight for only $10 is a steal. Would definitely go back!!

This is a really cool spot! Have lived here for three years now and somehow never made my way in. Great vibe inside, great beer, and fun food!
