corrupt. parking officer, prosecutor, judge, building itself. 1st the officer. gave a ticket in 1 hr parking zone for parking before 10am when there was no signage stating that on the poll which I was parked beside but 500m before on another poll. Corrupt. 2nd the prosecutor. Absolute corrupt middle aged woman psycho and toxic screaming like a child when I said I would plead not guilty. Framed the question so I was unable to give reason and immediately screaming her head off like a moron. Made up reasons (problems with parking in the area which is wrong! Actually, just complaining nimbys being nimbys thinking their own their street) during the trial why I should be given the ticket, even when at that point the office had stated there was no ‘no parking before 10am’ sign where my car was parked. Only cared about winning the case for a bigger bonus I assume. 3rd, the judge. Absolute no empathy or consideration for the fact that the city did not do their job of making sure signage was correct at all points of the street. If this is acceptable, the city could remove all specific signage along a street and only have one specific sign at the end of a street with more rules and hand out tickets all day long to unsuspecting people. Corrupt and incompetent, went on a pathetic spiel of twisted reasoning. Again made up her own rules, to fit her benefit of increased bonus. 4th, the building itself. Charging people to park to go to their own trials when there is no other parking in the area, including street parking. Absolute corruption and waste of taxpayers money that PAYS these peoples salaries who have nothing going on in their lives so feel the need to put on a power trip display to feel better about their pathetic corrupt loser lives. Canadian government is full of grifters and greedy losers taking advantage of citizens so their useless jobs are not made irrelevant.

I attended one of the court rooms because I received a notice of a trial for a driving infraction. The judge was professional, thorough and fair. She reduced my fine and I proceeded to pay it at the ticket counter in the lobby. The system of getting an electronic ticket from counter 1, then waiting for your number to appear above one of the other counters is fair. HOWEVER during the busiest time of day: 1-3 pm why is there only FOUR counters available to assist when there are NINE counters that could be open and assisting the public? The wait was torturous, especially when my parking voucher is about to expire! I hope not to be back anytime soon!

This courthouse should be shut down. They are highly disorganized and they have no clue about anything. Don’t even bother speaking to a manager because you will be disrespected. They have no idea what customer service means. I guess what is said during your trial doesn’t matter because they will go ahead and charge you for the tickets despite the verdict. They will suspend you licence even if you paid your fines. They will harass you over fines you already paid. When you finally get them to realize their mistakes... it’s still your fault, they can’t do anything about it. If you lose out on work or suffer because of their mistakes, boo-hoo

Trying to stay @ home (because deadly pandemic) -- but your website does not accept debit cards (even Canadian ones!) And there is NOBODY to call. So?!? I have to drive to Markham (1 hour away). Once there, despite ample parking, I am charged for parking. But the machine doesn't accept debit cards LOL AND IT EATS MONEY AND GIVES NO TICKET. So, while I am there, to dispute a totally BOGUS charge, I was super worried about being ticketed!! ... This isn't just a police state. This is full on tyranny!! Thanks for making my Pandemic days that much worse!! ... You suck!!!!!!

They are so rude the whole staff is very unprofessional in order to make things clear for us Sonya at counter 1 was super rude about telling us about our appointment. They didnt double check our appointment and made us wait for 30 mins over our appointment. If theres a rule of appointment they are not following it. Don not come at this court they are very rude and i felt racially attacked when they said “ these guys don’t know anything “ no needed of that when we were asking about our own appointment. I wish i could give them negative 5 stars.

I've been here twice now- once to let them know I was going to fight a ticket and then a second time to change my court date. After reading the reviews, I didn't have much hope for a good experience. However, I have nothing to complain about. The people working there were very pleasant and helpful. I went at about 3:30-4:00pm each time and barely had a wait at all (maybe 5 minutes total). I don't love that I have to go in person to do things... that's super annoying, but when you get there, they are very friendly.

It's disappointing that at this location, there are consistently only 2 out of 10 windows open for customer service. It's a logical expectation that in a city as significant as Toronto, one of the largest in North America, there should be more resources allocated to ensure efficient service, especially during busy times. I strongly feel that the city should strive to provide better service at this office to meet the needs of its residents.

You call this place a court house ? Imagine getting justice if you can’t even get respect here , with this many reviews from upset people and yet they do nothing about it . The workers are always on break one window is open when there’s full pack of people in line I mean the court is only open for 9 hours a day how much break do you people need . They are making money on parking maybe that’s why the u wait longer

The supervisor to the manager is joke at this place I wish everyone good luck at this place they say Durham and York region is bad oh god this is the worst district to get in a situation in the justice of the peace doesn’t know how to work from during a pandemic you don’t know how to operate to computer a its joke of a place This what I was advised it you have one ticket during the pandemic good luck again

there are plenty of rooms and service space, yet they only open 2-3 windows at a time. they "are not here to help any applications", they "just receive in whatever documents you gave". so if you have questions about any documents? sorry no comment. the court lady had an airpod in one of her ear, wonder what's been playing. but back to the root cause, it's not this place's falut but the system's...

I went there yesterday (Monday) around 9 30am and expected to wait an hour or so based on the reviews, so I did mobile parking for 30 minutes (got the option to extend). Service was surprisingly fast and I was out in 10 minutes. Except the parking ($2 for 30 minutes), I didnt have any issues. Be sure to park in the farther lot to the building since it's cheaper by 50 cents every half hour.

I’m at the courthouse right now. There is one staff working- how do you have one staff working with a full wait room. I’ve been here for 45 minutes. I’m number FP3:28 and they are only at FP14:50. Unacceptable as there are staff in the background standing around. They can and must do better but they don’t care.

This stupid waiting list system is not working! I thought it was first come first serve! Instead I was waiting over an hour until I got my turn. Someone came before me got infront of me from the screen they have! I asked them why and said they just make a payment so they can go first. AM I IMPORTANT ALSO??!

The place looked as if it has no custodial staff, dust and dirt everywhere. Also of the two parking machines I tried to use, one did not work at all and the other ate the poor gentleman's credit card who was ahead of me in line... Pretty pathetic excuse for an institution if you ask me.

It was closed when I went there around 3pm. The security gave me a small paper that had email ID and phone number to get the details I needed. Also, he asked me to take pictures of what was glued to the glass. Plenty of space for parking but need to pay for it. Thank you:)

Every time I go here I have to pay a fine, so this place sucks. You can park for free on the streets behind the building, but one time I got a parking ticket. Lucky for me I was right there to contest another parking ticket.

The lineups are crazy to request a trial date. Watch the time on your parking meter as you'll get ticketed while you are standing in line waiting to request a trial date for your parking ticket.

I was there today I couldn't see my name on a list. A very nice officer came over and helped me. The prosecutor I spoke with very nice and nderstanding. Thank you for listening and hearing me.
