Our roof was damaged in April 2019 by a hail storm. We chose Titan Roofing based on online reviews that were positive at the time and an initial good impression from Sean, the owner. The work included a total roof replacement, total gutter replacement, and fence staining. Our initial insurance quote only covered a portion of the fence work. Sean agreed to power wash and stain the entire fence since he did not believe in doing partial work. He assured us that he would handle the arranging of various subcontractors and even offered to knock down our deductible to sweeten the deal. The roof demo and install only took one day. There was one area of the roof that bubbled up that we eventually had repaired by another contractor since we have parted ways with Titan Roofing. The new contractor stated that the issue was caused by an excess of shingles that had overlapped. It would not have settled over time as Sean previously claimed on numerous occasions. During the roof demo and install, Sean’s crew caused damage to our property. Black tar marks appeared on the side of our house, marking the brick facade and our utility meters. An exhaust fan cover was damaged and needed to be replaced. We also had a tarp in our backyard that vanished after the roof install. We brought it to Sean’s attention and he agreed to replace it, although he acted as if he was doing us a favor by doing so. Sean sent out 3 different companies to work on the gutters. The initial gutter install did not appear to have been performed by a professional. There were bows in some of the long runs, the bay window corners looked very poorly constructed with gaps in the seams, and they installed smaller sized downspouts than our originals, which were later corrected when brought to his attention. The second company attempted to fix a lot of the poor workmanship that had been completed by the first company. The second company, along with Sean, stated that they were done and that things ‘looked great’ now. Later, we found that when the correct downspouts were installed, they did not recut the holes to adjust for the difference in diameter. They also did not apply the mini-downspouts in between the different elevations. Instead, we were left with circular cutouts that looked incomplete. We also noted a corner above our garage that was not directing water appropriately, causing a waterfall on to the driveway when it rained. When brought to their attention, they claimed that they weren’t done with the job after all, and that they had planned on returning to complete the work. We were very pleased with the fence staining. This however had to be touched up at a later time after Sean’s gutter crew scratched multiple long runs of the fence while doing late night gutter repairs in the dark. We later found out that Sean had never played the General Contracting role before and had strictly done roof work. This could allude to his lack in dependable gutter crews. We were very frustrated about the lack of communication. There were numerous times when crews were sent over to our house with very little to no notice. It was unnerving to walk around the house and suddenly spot a random person working on our property. There were also several times that we were told that someone would be scheduled to do work on a particular day, only to have no one show up. There was one final gutter issue we were trying to have Sean take care of. This section of gutter was an eyesore, yet he insisted that since it was functional and was an aesthetic issue, he was no longer going to work on it. At this point, he randomly demanded the remainder of the payment within 24 hours or he would put a lien on our house. We chose to close out our business with Sean and get the rest of our repairs completed by a reputable contractor. We strongly discourage the use of Titan Roofing. Save yourself the hassle and frustration that comes with having to micro-manage a contractor to provide a quality job in a timely manner.

I have a two story multi-level home and I recently learned that I had damage to my roof as a result of the April/May hail storms here in San Antonio. My insurance company inspected my roof and paid our claim. I contacted six local reputable roofing companies in San Antonio for estimates. The difference in the estimates I received was $6000 for the exact same roof. One of the companies I called was Titan Roofing. The Owner Christopher Fentress came right out and inspected my roof. We discussed the roof and the job. He was very professional and was honest as to what had to be done and the materials his company would use for the job. After the six companies submitted their estimates I reviewed them, checking all the companies for reviews and complaints. Most told me it would be a two day or more job that was going to be done by just a few roofers. Chris told me he had a crew of eleven professional roofers and they would have the roof done in the same day. He was also the second lowest bid, the lowest was a ridiculously low estimate that I didn’t think the job could even be done for. I signed the contract and we selected a date. Chris and his crew of eleven were there exactly when he said they would be. I have never seen such hard workers. Chris was there supervising the job the entire day. They started at 7:00 am and by 3:30 pm I had a new roof. The workers were all courteous and very professional. They cleaned up the site so well that no one who did not watch that roof go on that day would ever have known they were even there. I highly recommend Chris Fentress and Titan Roofing for any roofing needs. I will gladly share my experience and photos of the job with anyone who is considering hiring Titan Roofing.

We began research into replacing our awful roof where you are right now...google reviews. Hopefully our experience will help you in making a decision for your roof. We did some "shopping" getting estimates from four different roofing companies including Titan Roofing. Chris Fentress, the owner of Titan Roofing, was the first to come see us. He was always very friendly and professional. He answered all our questions and always answered his phone when we called. Initially, his estimate was the highest but he said he would be willing to work with us on some of the things that needed to be done. We had major leaks, rotten decking, fascia and trim, broken gutters, and the chimney needed to be completely rebuilt. At first, we thought we'd need a complete re-deck, the leaks were that bad. But we decided to do the re-deck on an "as needed" basis, which saved us a ton of cost. That is what ultimately won him over for us. We signed the contract with him, and work began. Before we knew it, all the carpentry work and painting was completed, and then the work on the roof began quickly with a large crew. After initial repairs, they started removing two layers of old shingles, and it turned out we didn't need a complete re-deck after all. Chris was always stopping by to check on the progress of the work, even getting up on the roof to make sure everything was done correctly. The new roof is beautiful and we could not be happier. We would highly recommend Titan Roofing. Thank you Chris, and all of your crew, for all the hard work in the summer heat, it is much appreciated. We love our new roof! I had several companies come out and give me estimates for my roof from hail damage. Several companies tried explaining and justifying the cost of the roof by stating they used a better quality of material. Titan Roofing used material that matched or surpassed the quality of material other companies were going to use. And the cost of the roof with Chris' company, Titan was substantially cheaper than others had quoted. They came out and started working on my roof on the day they stated they would start. Chris stated the crew would start around 0800. My doorbell rang at 0805. I was surprised they were on time. Other contractors that have done work for me have always been running behind schedule. I called Chris about a concern I had during the first day. My concern was addressed promptly and I was reassured the finish product would be exactly what I expected and more. Chris was always a pleasurable and professional person to work with. After my roof was done, I must admit I was very pleased with the way it came out. The attention to the small details on the roof really set my house apart from the ones around us. The high definition roof added so much to curb appeal. I highly recommend Titan Roofing to anyone looking for a reputable company.

Now, I know why Titan has great reviews. Chris and his crew are awesome. When I first contacted the company, Chris immediately came out and looked at the roof. He answered all my questions. Best part, all the other companies insisted on knowing how much my insurance was giving for the claim, not Chris. He gave me a quote which included more than we even expected. To me, that showed he was fair and not trying to take advantage of my insurance company. Chris is a genuine businessman with integrity. . His crew is some of the hardest working individuals I have ever seen. They were respectful and polite. Our roof looks great and we are very happy with it. In fact, people keep driving by and looking at what a great job they did. Chris, also, was out ensuring everything was done correctly. However, with his crew, they were superb even in the horrible heat we had in July. We had to have some plywood replaced and Chris is even coming back on a Sunday to paint it. ***Update: Chris did come back and paint. He is definitely a man of his word! Thank you Chris and the wonderful crew. If we ever need roofing again, we are surely going to call Titan.

We paid $5,600 on 03/04/19, when we thought the roof repair was complete. As of 05/13/19, waiting on them to contact me with the date for the 3rd attempt to properly repair it. Very stressful, discouraging, frustrating and time consuming. Will post follow up review with outcome. Update to response: Chris, your response is how I was informed of my scheduled completion date of Friday. Or maybe your missed call at 10:42 PM last night (AFTER my review was posted). Friday will be Great! Please come and finish this job properly so we can move forward from this terrible experience. Update to owner response on 11/20/19. Chris, Let's be real! I had to demand my 50% refund (and you weren't pleasant about it). You still walked away with $2,800 of my money AND I STILL HAD TO PAY ANOTHER COMPANY TO COMPLETELY REDO MY ROOF FROM THE MESS YOUR COMPANY CREATED. If you would like to give me 100% back, then there would be no hard feelings. Stop misleading customers like you did to me. It was not my "failing roof", it was your failing company/contractor. Any why did you erase your last response?? Shady! Bad business!

We live 1400 miles away from San Antonio, but bought a house in Boerne. We realized that we might encounter some drawbacks buying a home so far away, and not being familiar with the people and services provided in the area. The home was 18 years old and the inspectors said the roof was still good, but due to the age it did have some issues. .So it was our decision to have the roof replaced rather than wait until problems might occur. Using the Internet we obtained a number of proposals and used the BBI and vendor website reviews (5 Star) to help evaluate the area roofers. One of the top companies that kept coming up was Titan Roofing whose owner Christopher Fentress who personally contacted us. To make a long story short Christopher followed through with everything and was very helpful throughout the whole process. His communications was impeccable. His people were on time, the job completed as promised and the project was cleaned up spottlessly. We are pleased to write a positive review and have absolutely no complaints.

He got a team over to the house at 7am and they were completely done by 2pm without a single hitch. Chris, the owner, was there at 7am to ensure the crew got started and supervised throughout the day! Their cleanup was immaculate and they left the house looking better than when they arrived. Chris also showed up at our place of business before hand to ensure that everything was communicated well with regards to how things would be done and worked out the numbers there as well. We contracted with Titan Roofing for a complete roof replacement of our home in the San Antonio area. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and the communication and coordination throughout. First made contact with Chris on the 6th of March, gave him my address and told him I'd probably need a whole new roof; within two hours, he sent me a quote that was less expensive than I thought it would be! He came out on the 10th (my choosing since I had to wait for a day off), signed the contract and they were at my house Monday afternoon. They started at 2 and were done by 5:15, did a great clean up, the crew went over it twice to make sure they got everything and didn't leave a mess in the yard. He has such a big crew, I was surprised by how quickly and effectively they had it all completed. Chris and his crew are amazing! I would definitely recommend them to everyone and would call him if I need any other work done. My neighbors have all commented on how great my roof and gutters look and how fast the job was done.

I’m disappointed with the work Titan roofing did for me. They made my roof leak worse by not tarping the roof correctly. I had a small spot in the ceiling that would need repair after the new roof was installed and it ended up being half the dining room ceiling that would need repair after they got started. Also they re-installed my old, bent flashing with my new roof which looks bad. Their workers were not professional as they broke the drain pipe from my ac unit in the back yard and worst of all one of the workers decided to relieve himself right outside of my 2 yo daughters window. The extra insult of him relieving himself is that I live on an acre with plenty of space to pee discreetly (even though most contractors go to the store for the bathroom) but he chose to go right outside a window.

This company is fantastic - let me explain why. I am a home inspector in another city and called with a complaint, essentially. Now, the owner Sean got on the phone and was incredibly professional: He heard me out, and explained that I had the wrong company (never perform work in my area) and has received a couple other calls with the same or similar issue. He took his time to ask some questions and give me some solid advice for the best course of action to handle the roofing problem I was having. He genuinely cared about helping me at no benefit to himself and that is a trait not enough people appear to value. Thank you for your insight and time Sean.

Unfortunately I cannot speak about the quality of their work because I have not been able to get anyone to show up and perform the work on the date and time agreed. They continue delaying it with unacceptable excuses and in an unprofessional manner. In just less than a week, I have been "canceled" three times. What makes it worse is that they do not respond my calls on the day of and instead have me waiting hours before calling or texting me back to let me know they will not be able to make it.

Chris and Titan Roofing crew are too notch! I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did, even my neighbors watched and commented how well the crew worked together! I interviewed a few roofers prior to meeting Chris but it was Chris that took the time to explain the process and product. I have highly recommended Titan Roofing. Superb, prompt, efficient response in addition to a very courteous gent whom I wish I had met but we settled everything by phone calls and email which included photos he took of the roof. Chris and crew did a great job on our house. Everything from appointments to craftsmanship to clean-up met or exceeded our expectations. Gutters were also handled through Titan and the quality of work on that job was great too. The overall cost was very reasonable and many folks pay more for the same, if not less, quality.
