"This pharmacy has made countless errors with me"
"I was told by the pharmacy assistant that they had not received my prescription"
"I had the misfortune of having to go to this chemist for my Grandsons lactose free baby formula, to be told the prescription isnt here! I knew it was there, then i was told i would have to wait half an hour if i wanted her to see if it was there! Terrible customer service, in fact no service whatsoever! Staff chatting and laughing and joking in the back whilst the customers are being told they will have to wait half an hour for a prescription! Also laughing at a customer who is epeleptic and no prescription ready for him! He was told to take it up with the doctor, as soon as he had left they were all lauging about it! Epilepsy is a serious illness, surely they should treat all customers with respect and courtesy! Ridiculous Peak Pharmacy you should be very ashamed of yourselves!"
"If I could give this place a zero rating I would, unfortunately a 1 star is the least I can do"
"My prescription was received in the morning, yet can’t be delivered until tomorrow"
This pharmacy has made countless errors with me. They will not accept they are wrong. They would not give me my meds at all this Monday. I have bipolar disorder type 1, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and the less grave, chronic indigestion. I told them I only had meds for Monday night, i.e. yesterday. Rather than check their vital records of what they have actually handed out to people, (presumably they use databases), Mai (the pharmacist) stressed me with questions about what had been given to me, I couldn't answer them, I'm very poorly anyway. We fell out a bit and she said, "we are not serving you anymore." Just prior to that, she said I should talk to the surgery. Their incompetence has been going on for years. I had already had a meeting about them with Hazeldene's practice manager, ages ago, who said there was nothing they can do, and all I could do was leave the pharmacy. I recounted that to Mai. She had no reply. My condition is described as a multi-morbid SMI. What that means, to save you checking the NHS webpages, is that I have a serious mental illness that is compounded with two serious physical illnesses. My life expectancy, therefore, is on average reduced by 15 to 20 years according to the NHS information (and I'm 50+). Despite that, on Monday, Mai told me to walk back home with no meds, check a date on my previous meds packet, and walk back to get my meds [when she was proven wrong.] The million dollar question, is why did she not just check the computer instead? I assume pharmacies record the dispensing of drugs, don't they??? Instead we had the brief, somewhat unpleasant exchange, and Mai kicked me out of her care, during these uncertain coronavirus times. Yes, just like that, you might call it an emotional knee jerk reaction. Today, Tuesday, my wife had a useless 44 minute call to their area manager. We are consequently reporting all this to their head office, the NHS, and Mai will be reported to the General Pharmaceutical Council, because a resolution was not achieved. If at all possible, I suggest you talk to other local customers before allowing T&P to deal with your regular prescriptions. On a more balanced note, there are lovely staff whose positions I can't specify, other than to say I have been served by them, and definitely pop in for your over-the-counter items.
I was told by the pharmacy assistant that they had not received my prescription. Went up to the doctors who showed me on their computer screen that it had been sent to them electronically. Went back to the pharmacy with a code from the doctors, by which time, the queue was massive. Miraculously they find the item had been sent to them but was not in stock so it "got returned to the spine" like I'm supposed to understand that! It seems that this spine doesn't communicate with anybody so what a useless idea, as nobody could simply tell me that the item was out of stock. Finally, i get reissued with a prescription to take to another pharmacy. Went to Focus in Failsworth. Very helpful. They too were out of stock but able to sell me an over the counter equivalent for less than a fiver! This is not the first issue I've had with Tim's n Parker. I often feel passed from pillar to post, not clearly knowing whether it is their fault or the doctors. I've now realised that Tim's are at fault so I'll be going elsewhere in future!

If I could give this place a zero rating I would, unfortunately a 1 star is the least I can do. Staff are disgustingly rude. I have used this pharmacy twice (2nd time to give benefit of doubt) but both times the staff have acted in the most despicable way. On one occasion I witnessed 3 staff members berating a lady on the street in front of everybody. Literally on the street outside of the premises and they made a point of coming outside to carry on belittling her! Other occasion I literally watched and heard staff behind the counter talking about customers and calling them names while the person was present. The most unprofessional and shoddy staff/customer service I have ever witnessed in such a setting.
My prescription was received in the morning, yet can’t be delivered until tomorrow. Surely, the pharmacy should check the prescriptions that have come in that morning before delivering for that day. Their suggestion is to come and get it yourself. There are people out there, who can’t ‘go and get it yourself’, that’s why we need our medication delivered. The receptionist speaks over you, which is rude. It’s as though Covid-19 is the excuse for not listening to people.
I went for some advice and eye drops from the pharmacy for my sore eye and was told to go to a hospital. With a bloodshot eye? Really? Luckily, I went to another pharmacy with more competent staff and was given drops that worked just great. Honestly avoid this place if you can as the staff I encountered were really passive aggressive and unhelpful.
Don't go to this Pharmacy. It's everyone's fault but there's. They have given me the wrong strength tablets once. They lie to you saying they haven't received prescription when they have. People queuing out of the door because the staff are so incompetent. It makes you ill going in there. Used to be fantastic it's now a shambles with rude staff.
Staff member was unhelpful and demeaning , with an unprofessional approach to emergency prescription from nhs 111 request , refusing to help , saying I have to call my Gp when gp is open , when nhs 111 said to get medicine from this pharmacy as emergency in the next six hours , all other staff are lovely and helpful never had problems before
Always found them very polite and helpful. People have to remember that on occasion they are under great stress to get all the prescriptions out to patients, they also succumb to illness and have to be absent from work, which in turn puts added strain on the staff that are still working to fulfill all the orders. Please give them a break.
Been going to pick up prescription last few years .never ready on time even after a week of putting in prescription.then been told to come back because they didnt have everything i needed. Sraff are very pleasant but are having to cover each other while there on sick leave.hence why things never done on time.
Very good pharmacy, the staff are very friendly and helpful, a very good asset to the area handy being near the medical centre too, a word too for the excellent pharmacist (May) she really goes out of Her way to be helpful
Pick up my medication every month without fail. All of a sudden you have to call and wait for a few days, then receive a text AND then pick it up The most useless backwards staff, no logic or sense whatsoever
This pharmacy is a joke! Queue is always out the door, prescriptions never made up and you get told to come back the next day. Will be changing pharmacy as I’ve now missed my medication AGAIN
All the good staff have left and they don’t even have someone who can dispense the medications. Absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to and will never go back. Shocking
