"I went to buy a student metro card"
"Typical Asian grocer that you will find all the items such as frozen food, veggies, snacks, instant noodles, sauces, canned items and cooking ware"
"Ưu điểm: ngay trung tâm Adelaide (Central Market, Victoria Square), bán nhiều loại thực phẩm cần thiết của VN và China, giá cả phải chăng"
"Went in today because Kim Wang was closed"
"Thuan Phatt is the best store for Chinese green leafy vegetables, very fresh and cheap"
I went to buy a student metro card. The staff chatted there and didn't listen to me clearly. Then she gave me a regular one with $10 recharged. I told her what I need is student card, not regular. She said I didn't told her. I was really angry because the problem is they guys talking there and don't listen!! I wanted to refund the card but she said I have to do it in the metro center. Then I went to the metro center. But they said I CANNOT refund the card. I only can take $10 recharged back. SO Terrible staff in this store!!!!!
Typical Asian grocer that you will find all the items such as frozen food, veggies, snacks, instant noodles, sauces, canned items and cooking ware. This place also has a small section selling meat (pork, chicken and beef). The idea was good but the butcher manning the section is not that friendly or selective friendliness (to females). Asked him to cut a big slab of pork neck meat to half and sell half of it to me. He wasn't quite happy and sweared. Aside from that, the rest of the grocery was generally fine.
Went in today because Kim Wang was closed. Wow. This place carries a better selection of imported rice, fresh and speciality tofu, soy milks and noodles, at better prices too. I will be back soon. Very organized little shop. The woman who owns the place was very nice, we had a good chat and I feel confident she would help me out if I ever needed something specific that I couldn't find on my own. Won't bother returning to Kim Wang anytime soon when this place is so close.
Thuan Phatt is the best store for Chinese green leafy vegetables, very fresh and cheap. It also has the best fresh tofu, and the best fresh noodles. The butcher is not as good as Kim Wang, and I suspect they have used red dye on their pork. Their grocery prices vary widely, and can be much more expensive than others. Eg Japanese matcha powder (same brand, same size, nearly double that of Kim Wang) and LKK boat lady premium oyster sauce.
Despite its small footprint, has the be the best variety of all of the Asian supermarkets in the area. The owner is lovely and has helped me find obscure ingredients on a number of occasions, including those not available at the larger Kim Wang. If you stop in it’s worth taking a few steps to grab a snack from Nannas which is only a few metres away.
I was advised to buy this rice and I did the staff are very friendly . The rice is in good quality too . Thank you for you time I really recommend to shop there if you need asia grocery they are very helpful. Wish you the best
Best one I would say. Though their price could be a little pricey but nonetheless they have everything in store. I was particularly looking for a 3 in 1 Ali Café but could not find it anywhere but this grocery store has them!
Great variety, staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner is very sweet. I went in to get some chilli sauce and I went crazy given the variety they had. I recommend it if you are after Asian specialities.
Asian groceries place. Fresh herbs and veggies are a bit expensive here. You also have to read the expiration date of the item you want to buy. Some items are already expired for like more than 3 months.
Sell my preferred soya sauce brand so normally come here first before trying the other grocers in the area. Also close to Nana buns so works in well with a red bean bun stop
Excellent Shop, my favourite for many years. Great range, best pricing and both fresh meat & vege, frozen & packaged goods. A superb one stop shop with helpful people.
My preferred Asian grocer. Better prices than others in Chinatown e.g. butcher, veg, some sauces... but don't go if you expect a great customer service experience!
The staff is a bit loud and unfriendly. The veggies can be old sometimes. The hygiene is not the best. But in need of Asian food ingredients, this is the spot.
Visit here twice... Though we didn't buy anything yet the staff were so friendly and give good advice. You deserve full starts. Highly recommended !!!
I found one of the things I was searching for. The store is set out well, the staff very helpful and the place very clean and tidy
Nice little oriental grocery shop. Price n variety r the selling points. Staffs r a bit blunt but still helpful when u needed...
Be extremely careful with best before dates! Otherwise, a rather well stocked place to get genuine Asian supplies for meals!
cheapest grocery store around Chinatown xx my go-to place for my favourite asian snacks such as Milkis or Chocopie
Sells REFRIGERATED soft drink cans for $1.50, when warm cans are often sold elsewhere for upwards of $2.
Good Asian market for fresh vegetables and other Asian specific foods such as fresh noodles, tofu etc.
Has more on offer than the usual... Better than average prices... And a few really cool niche items
this isnt a review its a question... do you sell white rabbits the candy???
nice staff, but the food is sometimes over expiration date (fish sauce)
One of our favourite Asian grocers! Friendly and family-oriented.
The range is great and herbs and greens are always so fresh
Various Asian ingredients and spices can be found there.
All staff are friendly except butcher corner staff.
The cashier is always helpful and polite :)
