I recently called Thorncliffe Auto for the first time to book an appointment for a tire swap for my 1999 Acura and I very much appreciate that Jason was able to fit me in sooner than I had expected, considering that he was fully booked this week. Brought my car in for an out of province inspection today, Jason and the rest of the team are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend Thorncliffe Auto to anyone who needs an out of province inspection, or pretty much any auto related issue you have. This will be my go to auto shop from now on! FYI I called multiple auto shops in town before decided on Thorncliffe Auto and they have the best rate compare to other stores I’ve called.

From a very frustrating situation of a break light switch ultimately needing to be changed out 6 times, to find one hopefully NOT defective now… Thorncliffe Auto is a place that is probably close to regular price for a mechanic, but generally trustworthy. Hence why we brought our SUV here. Thank you for explaining in further detail after the first (4th from total) switch out and some frustrating exchanges. Fingers crossed it stays fixed.

Had a very positive experience here after bringing my car in for an issue. Jason was kind and thorough, not pushy or abrupt, and he didn't upsell or recommend anything that wasn't necessary to the specific repair. As a woman, I felt comfortable and assured and not like I was in danger of being taken advantage of. Had a grinding noise when car is starting, or turning. According to staff, they found nothing wrong even after checking the vehicle and 'several test drives'. I am ok with that! I did feel they checked it out, and I would not have known if I was charged for more than the hour labor. I will come back. 06 Nissan XTrail.
