This is a nice, small park in the middle of down town Phoenix. Contrary to a lot of other peoples' reviews, it is still open (It is across the street from the city Courthouse near the old city hall). It is quite small but still enough area for dogs to run around unleashed and play with other dogs. The busiest and best times to go from what I have seen regularly are usually around 9am and 6pm, especially during the summer and hot months. It is important to know two things about this park however; 1. Despite the county website AND the posted sign at the park about it closing at 8PM, the city locks it at 7 or 7:30PM every day regardless of whether it is being used or not. (This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5). 2. It is going to be closed for renovations from November 21, 2022 - December 21, 2022. They have been renovating all of the other parks around the city and did so with no notice or "hours of operation" changes online. What you read online about the hours of operations are not updated and you should understand the two points above before getting in your car or walking 5 blocks and realizing the hard way. I definitely recommend this park if you live nearby. Worth it for a few blocks walk but NOT worth a 10 minute drive or more since there is hardly anywhere to park nearby.

Used to be a nice place to go for my dog to run n play.as a dog park 4 stars. The only negative is the location, as now to many drunks n stoners, now harass people trying to enjoy their pet time, dog park is clean, the outside public sidewalk, homeless now sleeping. Also the crimal element, sorry no police around to complain.Update,Since the dog parks were getting upgraded n closed,People brought there dogs here, at one time, there could be about 10-14 dogs. During the evenings. Now Hardly any dogs on any given day, at most new people to area n a few daily regulars in mornings n evening. BIGGEST CHALLENGE an Complaint, The on going construction, and there is no Parking. BUT the BIGGEST thing is they like people with dogs are friendly, an like the Idea of a Downtown dog park.

Great little dog park in the middle of downtown Phoenix. They have plenty of poop bags and a water faucet for your thirsty pups...just bring a bowl. I especially like the double door entrance through a container box. Makes the entrance shady and keeps sneaky puppers from escaping (which mine always tries to do). It's not a park to hang out for a long day, but it's perfect for a quick romp to exert some energy.

The park is always clean. It's perfect for my dogs, but it's small compared to other dog parks. There's no size separation. They just installed park benches, but there's limited shade. Bring your own water. There is no water station. The park is still new, so I'm sure they're going to add more stuff. I'm so glad downtown finally has a dog park.

This is a great spot for some quick fetch and to chat with the locals. There was plenty of shade for when my pup was a little tired and a water station. It was nice and clean but the only thing that was a bummer is there was no equipment for dogs to train at. Overall I’d say it’s a cool spot.

A great downtown dog park. Unexpected pocket park for our 'pawed' pals. Nice shade; pine, palm and olive trees surround the grassy park, lovely cityscape. Water facet on premise.

It's a hassle to park but once you figure out the freedom parking lot close by it's okay especially walking downtown with dogs is variety...it's closed for six weeks reseeding.

Kind of a cute little spot, but basically just a patch of grass in the middle of down town. Great place to meet people and get infected with Covid if that's what you're into.

Love. It. We hope is *stays* a permanent dig park and fixture for a ever growing city and #Dtphx, *especially*️ …

This is a small dog park and my dog coco and I love it! It's usually empty or 1 dog there when we go and she can be let off her leash and run around!

  • Steven Lemon

A good alternative to Hance if you're Downtown. I do wish they had separate small and big dog areas but i get that it's a limited space.

  • Holly Dennie

Super convenient location for those of us that live downtown and need somewhere to let our pups burn energy. Always very clean too.

  • Dan Ratliff

Looks nice, but after walking across town to get here we found it closed and locked at 2:30 pm. Maybe they’re closing it down?

What a great idea a portable dog park. Green grass in the middle of downtown Phoenix. Even a fence to keep out the zombie's!

What we like most about this park is that there is so much shade. Very plush grass and just the right size Park.

  • Travis Farmer

Great skate spot but watch out for the street people they're not all friendly and keep your belongings close.

  • Srishti Jaiswal

My dogs absolutely loves to place and it’s a not that big area for the dogs but it’s just what my dogs need.

  • Eric F.

Nice, shaded, fenced in area, with access to water, for pups to run around. Just bring your own water dish.

I actually loved it! It was quiet and intimate. And being able to watch my dog run her little heart out.

  • Donald Judd

Great place, dogs are friendly and plenty of room to run. Everybody cleans up after Thier dog.

  • Tiffers J

Small park, no separation for size of dogs but lush grass. Best for 20 dogs or less

  • Kristine Black

Such a beautiful park in my opinion. My fur babies love when I bring them here

  • Sheree Gordon

A dog park right on the middle of Downtown what more could you ask for?

  • Abel Rincon

It’s open! A little muddy but the sun should be drying that out soon.

  • HJ Wright

Looks like a tree fell; so they have the park blocked off.
