they took our money, we were waiting for our drinks and did not receive them after 1hour. we ask to speak to the manager Paul . The bartender were upset the manager didn't want to talk with us , the door lady Got really aggressive with us because the bartender was related to her. So they kick us out and police said they do this all the time he was sorry but nothing he could do, again that would have been our 1st drinks. Just wanted to see the the band play. I have more to say but the other customer has nothing to do with this. Guns were displayed not the safest place to be. if you don't believe me just go. and we still didn't not get our money back they said our drinks were at the table but we wouldn't be able to drink them. plus our door fee we paid to get in. We were with a group of people when they were kick out so we all had to leave when we requested our money back.

Had lots of 10 yr and younger children running around and on they were playing on the stage... You go to the Customer Service station and wait in a long time to order your drinks and food... you then bring your order to your table. Tables are the high ones. The low tables are inconvenient at near the pool table (so the players' azzes are in your face, and their cue stick is too).. the children are playing inches from your table.. and they are a foot from the door... very inconveniently placed. You are not offered a menu. 10 (?) Very Loud TVs and music playing... We did have to shout to hear and huddle close to each other..... I left after my first and only drink... I wouldn't return.

My wife and I came to Houston from Detroit to visit our daughter and cousin. We went to The Zone just to have drinks after we had dinner. They welcomed us with open arms. The owner came by our table and talked with us on several occasions, the wait staff to extremely good care of us(I feel that it was not about the money but more of Southwest hospitality!)!!! The DJ played requested songs that we danced to and even others joined us to dance. The patrons in the bar came to our table and was talking with us, dancing with us, we had a BLAST!!! Hats off not only to the owner and staff but, to ALL who made us feel right at home!!! We will definitely come back and have food!!!

For Saturday night would have been dead, except for a birthday party, one female bartender, never smiled and looked up. The male bartender was doing the best he can, but was also bar backing at the same time. Hard to tell where to order a drink, and never was under 10 minutes to just get a simple beer Bartenders do not have any experience measure everything even on a simple Jack and Coke. The place overall is nice and the food is good. I probably would not go back unless they got experienced bartenders and a lot quicker service.

Horrible experience! Went there for a date night, got there at 8:01 literally.. We walked in and the place was empty, no big deal it’s a Wednesday so I expected the service to be great as we were the only ones there besides a few people sitting at the bar that have been served already. We ordered some drinks, a basket of fries and got some change to play pool. 20 minutes passed and my husband asked about the fries, the bartenders exact words were.. “I don’t even know if she’s started”.. 20 minutes for fries? Seriously? We told her never mind, paid our tab and left. Will not be returning.

This place is a ripoff. They advertise artists such as David Olivares and/or DJ Kane to attract people/make money off the public only to not have the artist show up “at the last minute” and they lie about the artists absence. This is not the first time they’ve advertised big names to attract people only for them to not show up while they already pocketed the public’s money. I messaged DJ Kane about his appearance on Halloween night, and he confirmed that he was never booked by these scammers.

I went in last night around 9pm. It was completely dead (good for me) but the bartender was amazing! She talked with me while I waited for my laundry to be done. Treated me like a friend and not just some customer. I was dreading getting out but her kindness made my night so much better. Thank you for making my not so happy night into a happy night! I will be back in the future.

This is just your local, neighborhood bar but when I came to visit for the first time I was treated pretty indifferently. I felt unwelcome and I was frankly ignored for not speaking Spanish. I tried making smalltalk with the bartender but she abruptly turned around mid-conversation and left when she got a phone call. It was quite apparent that customer service wasn't a thing here. I really felt unwelcome here and I have no plans on coming back despite living down the street.

I'm writing this as my wife cuz we had very different experiences. She had fun loved the music and her food was pretty good. I however think the music was way to loud once the DJ started playing we had to text each other cuz we couldn't hear. My "MR" steak came out burnt found out later that we got someone else's, she sent hers back and it came back great. She loved it. Me, not so much.

This is definitely a Pub. Drinks were good but for someone that cannot eat deep fried food not a good eats choice. I got the Chef salad and was very pleased with it. Service was very good and staff and patrons were all very very friendly. We had a showing on our house and just drove around. Found this Pub. So give them a try. The food quality was very good for pub grub. I could not finish my salad. It was huge. Great people.

This sports bar has that small town feel. Nestled away in the "New" Spring Branch area it's a must to go let loose at. We had so so much fun there. Service, staff, and ownership are simply the best. It feels like everyone knows everyone else and it wasn't long before I knew the whole bars patrons by name. I don't live on this side of the city but still, "I Will Be Back"!!!

Dropped in for a salad @5 on Sunday. Oh my it was fabulous!!! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it seemed a little slow getting the food seeing as we were the only people there. Also, there was no ambiance music so it was just the two of us talking. We will definately be back for the food!!!

First and foremost, excellent customer service, the bartender and drinks were superb, great atmosphere, the DJ there the night i went (Saturday) played a variety of music - which was great. I didn't eat, but the food menu looked pretty good too! . As a plus, the owner (Ray) was present and interacted with the customers and made sure everyone was being well-taken of.

I go here at least 3 times a week for lunch. I live their food and the staff is awesome too!

I went in on a Sunday night. Bar a bit small, music too loud, DJ trying to fight a customer, bartender getting selfies and taking shots with the customers instead of attending the customers that need help, and kitchen closes early. I mean, come on! No bueno. I just closed my tab and left to eigtheen ojeman down the street, much more chilled and better service.

New name "The Zone" great vibe, good music, both live and DJ. Wide variety of food. Kind of small, but it's perfect. Staff is friendly, bartenders are great. I felt confortable there right away.

Absolute best steak ever!! Can’t believe the price, the steak could have fed a family. You get green beans & a loaded baked potato casserole. Also, not to mention the service. Everyone came out to check on us- manager & cook. Our waitress, Marcy was an absolute angel. Cutest neighborhood bar!! People that care. I’ll be back, we all will be!

Since the new owner took over, there's been so many changes for the better! The food is always great! Taco Tuesday is a must because they are so good with their homemade tortillas, and steak night Thursday,oh boy! The steaks are the best!!! Great atmosphere, they play all kinds of music and plenty of room to dance!

Was not expecting the food to be so good. Thursday is steak night but we were to early to try. They start at 7pm because the steaks are brought in fresh that day and marinated. Will return for steaks. Catfish was superb, great batter, full of flavor. Wings also have a nice fried batter. Friendly service.

Great food, amazing service with bartenders that take the absolute best care of you. They remember your name, and if your drink runs dry, they're quick to offer a refill asking you by NAME !!! Very rarely have I had service that is above the quality of this great out of the way bar and grill.

The best experience I've ever had since coming here. A friend and i had 2 pizzas and some wings and everything was delisous. The drinks are made perfect and the bartenders are cool. The guy bartender was very nice and got our order correct! He sold us on getting the wings too.

Horrible service! Disgusting smelling bathroom with urine and feces all over the floor. No soap, no towels. Overpriced, water downed drinks. The fat, blonde haired manager was drunk and harassing the male customers. Too many other local bars to go to instead of this one!

This place could use a little diversity in their staff, and better help at the bar. The bartenders didn't seem to interested in their customers from the time we walked through the door. Business was lost due to the rude service provided to me, my wife and our friends!

Made their mark, with Thursday night steaks, and stout drinks. Touch Tune jukebox. A bit on the wild and rough side, loud motorcycles rumbling, makes you want to hear some AC/DC, Metallica, Chris Cornell... classic Houston stamp. YOLO.

Came here to watch the Texans. The food (wings) was really good and the environment was great. Good priced drinks as well. I'm definitely coming back and will recommend to others.

Took mom to try steak night. Great cuts of meat, good flavor! We will definitely be back in. Also was able to see some neighborhood faces I haven't in a while. She's going to take friends and make this her new neighborhood spot. :)

There is an awesome redhead Nicki is always happy, willing to work, smiles on customers faces. Informative about the menu. Overall the menu is really good and steak night on Thursdays are phenomenal. Dj's and bands are always good!

Best Ribeye steak dinner anywhere!!! Thursday night is steak night. Huge ribeye, loaded mashed potatoes, fresh green beans and salad for $16.00. You cannot beat this deal! Price or quality!

Food was awful. Took 30 minutes to serve burnt burgers with stale buns, and two out of the 3 orders were wrong… we were the only ones there, and it took that long. Terrible.
