At The Square for “Rock DXB” and to be honest the organisation is pretty awful. No signage at the gate despite them insisting you use separate queues depending on your ticket type “put up a bloody sign then!” Fancy a beer, hope you don’t mind waiting 35 minutes to get served, and despite advertising a “pint”, be aware it’s a US pint so only 83% of a proper UK pint and 45dhs (£10) for the pleasure. Rip-off Dubai at its absolute best! The only confusion being that they would make so much more money if they could only organise a way to serve people more quickly. The bands sounded pretty good though (except for the Elton John tribute which was worse than awful, seriously the worst pub singer you ever heard was 100 times better,a virus for your ears) Despite the awful service we had a good time, but it is annoying that it could be so much better with a little bit of effort and organisation and maybe just a little less of a focus on wringing every last penny out of you.

FYI - live outdoor events must close at 11pm so I urge everybody to call the police and complain on 999 to report this cruel venue if its events run over this time. I see they have decided to put on a rock event during the first week of 2024, Wednesday to Saturday! Come on it’s a working week are you serious!!! Are you really that ignorant of the peoples lives you are ruining who live around your awful venue. Please can you use your common sense this is totally unacceptable. I suppose you’ll be stopping residents from parking near their buildings too like you always do! PLEASE can you turn it down, finish at 11pm or earlier and NOT have nights during the week. You are seriously messing with peoples health.

How does this place even exist? It is truly confusing how they are permitted to have those outdoor events, generating excessive noise/ loud music, especially in a residential area. This situation is a total nonsensel and displays a complete disregard for the well-being of the residents

You are operating in a pure residential area here and you cannot have super extreme loud music and concerts. We are unable to sleep and take rest as your loud music goes inside our apartments. Very noisy and inappropriate

How can you have full blown concerts in a residential area. The noise is unreal. Who granted this licence? Who do you report the disturbance to? Can you object anywhere to these concerts before they happen?

  • Karina Usmanova

You are operating in a pure residential area. even testing sound system at night. is there any balance between inhuman behaviour and peaceful life in this location at all?

How could you blast music as high as possible in the middle of a residential area? Nobody is able to sleep, and it keeps on repeating every week!
