Went to a get together there last Saturday evening, we had driven up from the hill country southwest of Austin. When we arrived the General Manager greeted us at the door almost. We introduced ourselves and she said her name was Charity. Although we've never been there before we were greeted and treated like we were customers that have been going there for years. The bartender Megan our bartender took care of us, she was a very good bartender, very nice super sweet woman. We stayed late and met some very nice people had a very good time. Very relaxed atmosphere with great bartenders. Drinks are incredibly reasonable in price. Had a tasty frozen marg and a fantastic bloody mary for $9.50 total (That MIGHT get you one cocktail across Peavy). Menu isn't large but the cooks put in extra effort to put it a tier above generic frozen bar food. Seasoning on anything fried was great since the cooks add in extra herbs. The people posting negative reviews because they were towed trying to go to another establishment should feel bad. Don't knock this owner's livelihood because you were in a rush to get to brunch.

If I could give this bar 5 negative stars I would. Gross bar, bad service, and my car got towed by the company who works with the bar to ruin your night and the next day. Response to the comment below: I personally know the other store owners in the area and have it on good authority you haven't taken the steps to rent that specific parking lot to other owners. I have also seen the tow driver trucks parked at your bar. You serve the drinks, food, and give them easy business. Stop lying. I've lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years you're not fooling anybody.

Charles Bukowski would be proud. Look, Buk hung out in much seedier places. This place is clean. Royal Pour just has that vibe. Maybe it was that a friend was in from out of town and we were having our first cocktail at 2:30 in the afternoon. The place was near perfect: dark inside, backlit bar, a good drink. There have a pool table, jukebox and food; what more could you ask? I'll go back and eat, then we'll see. Meantime, give 'em a shot and see what you think. Parking can be a deal. Look 'round back if the front is full. Or the parking at the end of the alley.

I have been coming to this Bar for 6 years now and I have to say this is my home bar. Great staff and wonderful patrons who are very sociable and friendly. Nice that they have a patio to sit and mingle with others, Tv's inside and out, Hot food, Karaoke, jukeboxes and yummy Drinks. I have gained a lot of friendships whom are now family to me since coming into the RP. I feel very safe and relaxed when I come in. Charity, Marshall, Angie, Nate and Sheri are all amazing and thank you for everything y'all do. Keep up the amazing work.

Fun, friendly and casual atmosphere with plenty of entertainment options which include karaoke, pool, darts, a jukebox and dance floor. If you're a sports fan there are big screen tvs both inside and outside the bar on the covered patio. You can park in front of the bar or swing around the alley and park in back and come in thru that entrance. Karaoke is on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. It packs quite a crowd, especially on Thursday night I noticed. The bartender Angel is friendly, quick and highly efficient.

This is absolutely not my kind of place: my friend wanted to visit. We came from the back door and there was a sweet game room there: table pool and other games. I bet its crowded by nights. I dont drink and have health issues so Im definitely not the right customer. But I saw people enjoyed the place. Liked old fashioned look and how firniture creates separated zones inside the place. Overall its a great place for active, noisy people who want to meet their friends, have great conversation and lots of fun.

This is one of those strip mall bars that are for locals and people who want an authentic feel, great food, and reasonable prices. It's near Lakewood playing fields. We were attending a women's Rugby tournament. Turned out to be a perfect place for a light food and a few beers for the folks who didn't have a game after. Diversity friendly in every sense. Just everyone being themselves and being welcome to be.

Sherri, the bar tender , does not protect the bat's name at all . Nor, the customers. She let's the younger crowd disrespect the older people. They make fun of us because of our lack of knowledge of new technology. And she takes sides. Especially if the tip is big enough . Ask her what her big tip was monday night. The night a customer was humiliated and she defended the suspect . Only because of her tip. I'm never going when she's there.

I stopped in to have a cold beer on a Sunday night after work. There was 4 people in there counting the bartender. I asked about drink specials and she snapped and said there aren’t any. I paid $5 for a Budweiser and tipped a buck. This is not a Great place and no live entertainment, that’s entirely to much for a beer on a day that’s not busy, I also was not happy with the fact that when I said thank you & tipped I didn’t get a thank you back. Sorta rude for a service worker

While I was Dallas-Fort Worth area I was looking for a place to do karaoke and by Googling I found this bar the Royal pour and of course they do have good drinks beer Wine and Liquor they also have karaoke and as many of you know who follow my reports on places I go there either because I'm hungry I'm thirsty or I want to sing is there a better reason to visit a place and I'll go back to this one because I like it it's good it's got good karaoke and good drinks

The food is great, the bartender Marshall is even better. But the belligerent management AKA charity is completely out of line. I personally been in the Bar business for over 20 years me and my family has never endured so much disrespect from a belligerent management and all my life. Take your business elsewhere. There’s more karaoke bars in the city. Their bartenders will soon be going elsewhere promise you.

First and last time!! Food was dry, days old, small amount of meat for the price. BBQ sauce was freezing cold. Customer service is lacking.. Hair found outside and inside my to go box. Waste of money!! The manager thinks I am looking for something for free.? Maybe because I am a black woman. He knew I would hate it before I left he said. He knows his product and service sucks butt!!!!!!!

Not a loud crazy bar which I like. There's a juke box for music. It has a lot of regulars and the bartenders have always been attentive and friendly. Nate is the best! Great entertainment with karaoke nights. Oh, and the food is delicious!

This review is for the Saturday kareoke night at The Pour. Disclaimer: I am not a regular of either bars or kareoke. But WOW.. this was a whole bunch of fun that brought this community of singers and music Lovers together in a not so high tech but well managed come one come all way. There was the whole range of talent and energy.. I loved it all!

Marshall is such a gem!!! He is always so sweet and friendly and I love to have conversations with him. Ain't a mean bone in his body!! Angie is the bomb!!! She is so fun and uplifting. Charity is a PRO and a long time friend who I enjoy talking and visiting with. Sherry is always attentive and friendly!! Great bartenders at a great bar!!!

Great prices and awesome barstaff. Angie is always so pleasant and remembers our drink orders We love all the bartenders here.

Went there for a family friend's birthday party. Had a lot of fun, they were not at all stingy on the drinks, they were very accomedating when it came to the mass amounts of pizza that was there for the party, the band seemed to have no sound issues while playing, and everyone was having a great time.

I ordered cheese fries, 4 ingredients, I didn't get bacon or scallions. beer was flat from the tap. I did get jalapenos and ranch. the atmosphere was great during the game. service was good. I'll give it another try. maybe an off night

I used to love this place for karaoke but the DJ John walked up to my 22 year old sister and told her in front of me and our mom that he made a $50 bet about whether or not she was wearing panties. We won't be coming back. Update: He just told my mother she'd look good in leather.

We wanted to find a laid back environment while visiting Dallas and were recommended this bar. As soon as we came in we were greeted by the bartender. She was fast and friendly. The patrons were a good time as well. I definitely suggest this spot for a mellow Dallas experience.

Visiting from out of town.. came here on a slow Monday night..the bartender Jewels made it an excellent experience and even though it was slow, there was great conversation, cheap drinks and a welcoming experience between other customers..i would definitely come back!

After seeing how the so-called manager acted out my family and I won't be going back.The bartender is great but the manager that claims she is the owner is a joke.....James clean house plz... Everyone seen this and will continue to speak on it until it's fixed....

Please boycott this once east Dallas favorite. For reasons unclear to anyone they have now turned there parking lot into a tow zone even when their business isn’t open. We used to be regulars but will never be coming back.

On Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Saturday’s if you love to sing and you’re looking for a relaxed place to sing your heart out. You’ll love it here! You will hear people sing some of everything and I LOVE IT! The drink prices are so kind to the wallet.

Had the best homemade Bloody Mary. Technically it was virgin, but still, all the yummy and spicy ingredients that went into it made it delicious. My friend and I were at a painting event that they host. Oh and did I mention the fries? Yumtacular!

Marshall don't have a mean bone in his body. All of the tenders here are respectful and kind. Sometimes they show more tolerance than people deserve. Great place with great people. Some reviewers are just liars and no one will miss a liar!!!

There were 25 Tuesday March 14th. Some people it was just having fun. Some of us were showing off . It was LIT! July 11th light night only a few singers but it was fun . There were some good singers. It's airways a good time.

First time visit. Bartender was nice and very attentive. Bar was very local watering hole feel, but with a nice ambiance for a local watering hole. Looked like there was a stage for karaoke or a small band. Will definitely be back.

Super chill, ADULT crowd. This place is great if you just want to kick back, have a few drinks and play pool or sing karaoke. They also have a grill that serves one of the best patty melts. You'll have a drama free good time here.

Plenty of parking, lots of beer offerings, variety of alcohols are limited. No kitchen Game room with pool table. Karaoke on multiple nights for those that got to sing. Friendly bartender! Patrons are friendly. A true Dive Bar.

They have the best burger and homemaid fries in the area.

Cozy neighborhood bar with outdoor patio and tv's for you sports fans. Did serve good food until the chef quit so hopefully will have food soon. Karaoke on certain nights with pool tables, foosball and other games. Full bar.

Website displays a menu. They said the cook quit and they didn't hire another one. Sucks. Place is kinda low-key cool but would rock if they had food. Service was quick and friendly. Place smells like cigars though. Yuck.

This place is dead. I walked in and there was zero noise. No music, no game on, no people. Put some playoff games on, play some music, open the doors. Try and make inviting. I would love for this place to succeed.

Apparently they make all their money from towing in a parking lot that's not even with eyesight of the building? Probably got too jealous of people parking there to go to an actual good bar!

My favorite watering hole. Jewels, the bar tender, is spot on her drinks, the kitchen is awesome, the prices are fabulous and the patrons are regulars. Best bar east of White Rock lake.

Charity(bartender) is awesome! I love coming here to play pool(only 5$ an hour!) And darts! Great food and great prices on drinks. They have karaoke some nights too!

More for the older crowd i would say but the food and bartenders are good and it is a good place to go if you just want to sit have a few drinks amd be on your way.

The place is very cozy and has the ability to be great. There seems to be a kitchen issue each time we go. The drinks are good and karaoke is fun!

Becca the bartender is amazing. Responsive for the entire room and never grumpy. Drinks are poured and served quickly.

Typical little divey bar, friendly staff & patrons. Some pool tables/games don't work, plenty of room to mosey though.
