Went here with a craving for Western food and decided to splurge a little for it as the prices are very, very high (even for Western food in Asia). Ordered Chicken Roast. Chicken was fine with a decent gravy, but the rest of the meal left ALOT to be desired. The vegetables were stone cold. The potatoes were the same oily, undercooked potatoes typical of a Burmese curry. The garlic bread supposed to come with the meal (clearly shown on the photo and confirmed when I pointed and asked if it came with these sides) turned out to be half of a sickly sweet, stale bread roll dumped on the plate. Had this been a cheap or even reasonably priced meal, I might not have worried but having paid nearly 8000 kyat for my meal alone, I was very, very underwhelmed!! Trying to communicate with staff was very difficult as their English was limited and there was no manager to speak with. Staff did offer to heat up the vegetables but by the time they managed to figure it out I couldn't even be bothered. The other meals may be okay, but based on this experience I won't be recommending it!

Me and my partner teated ourselves to a burger here for Xmas even though it is a lot dearer than the street food we normally get. Unfortunately we were both really sick the whole evening and night after lunch here. Only ate bananas for breakfast and this is the only thing we at that was the same. Was not even a good burger. Really guttered as it looked so nice and clean and western prices. After eating street food around Asia for a few months we were very surprised. Had to cancel our flight for the next day as we were so sick.

Posto molto carino e accogliente, un po’ come se si trattasse di un piccolo pub inglese in Myanmar. Buona l’offerta del menu, in cui ci sono diversi piatti tradizionali da pub e alcuni semplici piatti della zona. Nel menu solo due birre alla spina (Heineken e Tiger), ma diverse birre in bottiglia. Al piano di sopra, un tavolo da biliardo. Posto rilassante e carino, prezzi medi.

Good food. I ordered the grilled pork chop and tastes good. The locals love salt and they customized to local tastes. Still I see many foreigners there for dinner and beer. So they must have loved the ambience. It's two streets from opposite Diamond Plaza. Good place to rest your feet with an ice cold beer after your shopping experience. Won't mind returning to try other items.

environment is perfect ! due to empty shop staff are doing whatever they want like don't care /keep switching song.. at least play some good music english upstair

Alright. The locatione is ok, though if you take a taxi to anywhere then anywhere is ok anyway... The food was reasonably tasty, nothing special, not big enough for the price in my opinion. No AC, very hot inside and loud if the band is playing. We sat upstairs to avoid the commotion. Overall was very mediocre but no awful

Great (unique?) Western style bar, good music, great food and fantastic service. Decent selection of beers and spotlessly clean too. Might be a bit pricey in comparison to some other local places, but it's still cheap and great value. Seems to be a place the hip locals hang out, not many westerners when I visited.

Far more staff than necessary when I visited, but accommodating. Waiters hovered around us for the entire time we spent looking at the menu. Basically no vegetarian food on the menu but the kitchen put together some veggies and rice for us. Perhaps heavy on the black pepper but we survived.

외국인이 많을거 같은 분위기의 bar 하지만 담배냄새가 많이 난다. 그것만 아니며 5점 줄수 있는 장소이고 1층과 2층 두개의 층으로 운영. 시원하고 엄청큰 맥주잔이 준비되어 있고 미국의 bar를 언상시킴. 2층엔 유료로 이용하는 당구대도 마련 되어 있고 음식이 깔끔하고 맛있었다. 왠지 코로나 유행전일땐 관광객이 엄청 많았을거 같고 메뉴가 다양하고 접근하기 좋은 위치에 장소 이다. 이곳도 직원이 친절하고 사진찍기 좋은 장소임. 다음번에도 또 방문해야지^^ Pyin Oo Lwin에도 생기면 좋을거 같다

Excellent smoothies and cocktails, I started with a Road to Tiki then a spicy vampire with sheesha for my Shan ganja then the waitress gave me a Myanmar blow job and a superb orgasm. I finished off with a rainbow sexy and a happy anaconda. Very cheap and well made cocktails.

Nice bar, good music, reasonable priced beers, attentive staff. As said in other reviews the food is average for a not so average price. But for drinks, good rock music and a good atmosphere I would definitely recommend going here.

Awesome place. Cool crowd. Good food. Outstanding service. I usually drink white wine and wasn't familiar with the brand they were offering by glass. The manager offered me to try it before I order. Very sweet!

The only tourist/expat bar in the area, yet did not see any when I was there, mostly locals, heavy rock music and a good selection of beers and the food is ok, just stay clear of the washroom.

Good bar, price is a bit expensive than other place but it is cosy and staff is welcoming. We have learned some Burma words and sentences with staff it was a really good sharing moment

Nice bar with air conditioning. Beer prices are higher than average but happy hour prices are good. They evidently have live music or a DJ at times. They serve standard pub fair.

Good place to go for a beer and chips -live rock music (not sure if everyday) but central location and good experience. Burger 4000, club sandwich 3500 ...2500 larg beer ..

Good drinks, a lil bit overpriced as you would expect. Mostly foreigners here but the atmosphere when I was there wasn't great at all and the music wasn't rock and roll.

Mostly older rock music, excellent bar, great interior and decent prices. A touch of back home. An oasis of home from home (well, almost!) for a pleasant change.

Cool atmosphere, great staff, enjoyed really good live music and beer! They have local beer, draught beer (heineken and tiger), whiskeys and so on.

Relatively a small bar with a lot of fun. If you are a rocker, go there upstair. They will welcome with fresh beer. A nice place for your evening.

The vibe in here is good sometimes they have an unplugged show at the weekend and it is fun to chill at this place with friends.

The Rock Gastro Bar is situated in downtown Mandalay and it is a good place to drink, enjoying with friends.
