Ok... hard to find a place to start when describing how highly I think about this place and the staff. My only complaint would be that they don’t have more locations.... Ideally one right next to my house. The wine selection is amazing. You can tell they work hard at sourcing the wines they sell. Economically priced wines are available and different then the wines available in the provincial liquor store. De Lucas seem to have wines for every budget. My favourite thing to do is ask one of the staff to find me their favourite wine in a certain price range. You can immediately tell how much they enjoy what they do as they make every effort to help you find a hidden gem. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable. I have come to the store in shambles after work and have always been treated with the utmost respect regardless of my dress. I am just starting to learn how to appreciate wine. And yet the staff never make me feel stupid or like I should be shopping elsewhere. My friend and I always love shopping there and get excited when we have a chance to go. Special shout out to James. Thanks James you wonderful help and kindness as you help me learn and appreciate your special world. And although I don’t know the other staff by name, they have all been fantastic and I have never had anything less than a stellar experience there.

Ordered 2 wines for delivery through skip. Chose the order option as the store is small and feels hard to socially distance in side. The store packaged two completely wrong wines. Big disparity with the wines (white vs red and price point). I called the store and am unable to get a refund or go to the store in person to exchange the items now. Skip does not provide customer service for wine or alcohol delivery orders and has refused to correct the order. Seems like a serious customer service gap going on. Big waste of my time, money, and experience. I Won't be visiting this store or ordering from them again based on this lack of care with packaging their orders and no way to correct the issue. Save yourself the hassle. EDIT - STORE ONLY OFFERED TO ALLOW IN PERSON EXCHANGE AFTER I MADE THIS REVIEW, NEVERMIND THAT I HAD ALREADY CALLED THE STORE TWICE AND WAS TOLD NO AND PASSED OFF TO SKIP. MAYBE DON'T USE SKIP FOR DELIVERY IF YOU KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE LEFT IN THE LURCH WHEN YOU MAKE MISTAKES.

Such a fun night at De Luca Fine Wines. We were guests at a business presentation that was hosted by De Luca. De Luca had arranged a wine, cheese and chocolate pairing experience during the frequent breaks of the presentation. De Luca had nothing to do with the presentation but provided the facility, AV equipment, wine host, wine, cheeses and chocolate. There were 5 different wines tasted and each was paired with some different cheese or chocolate. We learned a lot about wines and the DeLuca host was knowledgeable and fun. Was a unique way to listen to a traditionally dry business presentation. Check out De Luca for your opportunity to attend something similar.

Started as a customer and liked the group and selection so much I practically begged for a job...and got it. It starts with great ownership but what becomes apparent even quicker is they are TEAM. If I can’t help someone, without hesitation when asked someone saves my bacon and in turn makes me look good. It is a high energy positive and rewarding experience whether I am at work or drooling over their selection. Stop by and put me to work on pairing up a wine with food occasion or just because. If I am not there don’t hesitate to ask anyone.

Order a bottle wine with a no show gave them address 3 times and they have my phone. Tolk my pre paid money with no refund do not buy here ver very poor service a company that preys on the older people should not be in business buyers beware! I am very disappointed with the service De Luca. I called regarding a question with my order. The woman I spoke with was rude and was not listening to my question. I dismissed the call as maybe she had a bad day. I had ordered a wine and flower combo delivery gift. To only find out they delivered it to my house rather than the shipping address I had entered. I am a very busy person therefore I was looking for a place that could deliver for me.

First time being here and will not be my last. I don't feel like you get service like that anymore anywhere you go. Robert helped me select some options of wine to try and based on my taste and what I prefer he confidently selected them. Robert also went out of his way to educate me on events that they put on and went the extra mile to find out the meals based on my dietary restrictions. Excited to go back and try more wine suggestions.

I was invited to the restaurant in the top storey just above the shop. Access from the rear of the building over the parking. Steep staircase inside the building. Not accessible with wheelchair, walker or impairment. All you can eat pasta (3 varieties) or pizza. Very nice vine to go with the dinner. One biscuit for everybody as a desert. Would absolutely accept another invitation but not go there again on my own behalf.

Unlike the Italian owed “De Luca’s Market” next door, I found the wines here sub-par and have even had several bottles of on-sale wine that was corked. My advice would be to go to the Provincial Liquor Store across the street which actually caters to the employees at De Luca’s Market and has an extensive Italian Wine section with expertise to match.

Made a mistake purchasing a gift card (intended to buy for Deluca's) and the staff were incredibly helpful with getting us our money back and making the process painless. While in the store I was very impressed by the selection of wines and products, and I hope someone in the future mistakenly buys me a gift card for this very lovely shop.

Everytime I go into Delucas to pick up a bottle of wine I come out with 3 lol. The staff is amazing and always has suggestions for me to explore. 2 years ago I was a basic "cheap sweet wine" kind of girl and now I'll never go back to barefoot moscato thank you for the amazing service! Cheers! …

I went into the store to check the wine special from July 9 - 12. I purchased 6 bottles of wine from the special group for $2 each that ranged from $10 to $35 at the regular price and 6 bottles of wine to match the regular price of the special wines. I am looking forward to trying each bottle of wine.

TERRIBLE service, ordered a gift basket and was given items in a plastic bag. Not assembled as a gift basket! Ordered on Skip the Dishes and was only delivered 1 out of 3 items. Send my assistant there to pick up the remaining items. Not impressed! Will never purchase from De Luca's Fine Wines again!

This store has been a staple for me for years… the tall blonde guy - not sure his name, miss him though. Now the store has a totally different vibe. Feels tense, I feel unwelcome, unwanted, the help I get seems less than adequate. Not a place I’ll be shopping at anymore

We decided to get a covid friendly lunch for the crew here at Moray Collision from De Luca's Portage Ave...been a tough year for everybody...food was perfect, ready on time, and staff was super friendly. Thank you De Luca's for being great at what you do!

So fun ordering from their website picking a variety of different wines that are recommended by their staff, exclusive to the store, and unlisted wines not typically found elsewhere. Placed the order last night and got it already!

I really like this place. Informed staff, good selection, and well priced. It is conveniently right next to DeLucas great grocery store, so this makes putting together supper very easy. Parking around back is busy at times.

Received excellent service at my first visit, a very helpful and friendly gentleman with longer hair helped my partner and I choose a wine that paired perfectly with our home made pepperoni pizza. Will definitely return.

The owner is quite abrasive and all employees are generally unhelpful and not very knowledgeable about wine. The selection is average. Suggest Jones & Co or De Nardi for more expertise and a friendlier environment.

Attended a "Bubbles and Bites" tasting and had a wonderful time! The instructor was very knowledgeable and personable which made the experience enjoyable! I would highly recommend attending one of these samplings!

Called in, didn't know what I wanted. Told them a couple wines that I liked and they built me a box that I came and picked up. So far I have been quite impressed with the selection.
