A variety of shops are inside the centre. 2 ramps on either side of the centre are there for disabled use, which were great for Mum on her scooter. There is a lift and a ramp to get up to the next floor of shops too. Staff were present and were cleaning when necessary. The sign for the toilets was a little confusing when we got out of the lift, as they are on. Corner and can't be seen until you walk round, but found them and they were accessible and good.

Celebrated my daughters 9th birthday here the other evening, its our favourite Japanese restaurant. I have been bringing my children to eat here for the past 9years & we have celebrated many special occasions here. I have been coming to Fuji Hiro with my father since I was 15yrs old...I'm now 36 & I'm still coming here. I think that says everything you need to know!l about this place ❤️

Great place to shop, it's pretty small but whenever I want to buy something it's usually sold here. V nice atmosphere and often there are fun things to do in the middle of it for children. Has indoor seating that isn't affiliated with a specific shop so this is a good place to sit down and hang out without having to spend money.

I love the Merrion Center, it hasn't changed other than the ships since I went to college across the street which no longer exists, so it's nice that a unique and original part of Leeds has been somewhat unchanged and I love that. I hope it continues to remain. So many wonderful businesses a delight to walk through.

Not a bad centre but losing 2 stars as morrisons is rubbish in there and niether morrisons nor the centre have toilets so have to wee and poo in the graveyard over the road. Also the centre needs some of those tall clowns on stilts that hand out flyers as that would brighten the place up and make it more intersting.

  • Barbara Collins

I am reviewing just because of the security there. Lovely helpful and friendly as I was so lost. Excellent. A big shout out to the 2 guys that were there about 6pm who directed me to the arena and security who was there with my bag around 10.45pm. Thank you so much. You made a stressful time a bit less so.

It is always spotless, plenty of shops to look around and buy. A very pleasant shopping experience.. Far from my early childhood memories, when it was a storage tank for water, in case the water mains were fractured, for the fire services, for air raids from the second world War .

  • Brian Malunga

Great place for shopping as well as relaxing. A few of the shops specialise in different sectors. There's also a proposed Go karts entertainment area still underway and coming soon. These little karts are electric and promises to give the occupant an exciting time

  • Barney McBarnes

A decent shopping centre with a range of stores. Not the biggest in leeds but i think the bowling alley (tenpin) and range of restaurants on the read exterior of it are the biggest drawing points for this centre. Would highly recommend blue sakura and bengals

  • Terry Moran

With the possible exception of Home Bargains and Morrison's, the Merrion Centre now has very little to offer. Tired and dull layout, no public toilets and freezing cold in Winter. Somewhere to pass through rather than a destination in its own right.

  • Duncan

Popped in here for another shop (which was the watch shop, who were 5 star) but as a retail centre this place has some useful stores, I like the communal seating spaces but there isn't much to make this place a high interest point on a trip to town.

If this place had a jd/foot locker honestly would have no need to go anywhere else I get my hair cut from the barbers do shopping at times from the Morrisons and again parking is safe and secure. Just a heads up you'll see alot of shop lifting here.

  • Linda Sawyerr

How can they not have toilets? Plain wrong! The other day my bladder was almost bursting, I had to make a quick run to the Leeds Beckett City Campus (where I am a student) to use the toilet and then return to complete my shopping at Home Bargains.

The Merrion Centre is a bustling hub in Leeds, offering a diverse mix of shops and services. From grocery shopping to fashion finds, it caters to a wide range of needs. The cleanliness and accessibility add to the positive experience. While

  • Edd Almond

Went into the Merrion centre to pick up some Christmas cards at The Works, as well as some Chinese groceries from Sing-Kee. There's a lot more shops and restaurants than I remember, and it's becoming one of my favourite malls in Leeds, just

  • Himanshu Choudhary

This place was worth it as it has mant big provisional stores and mostly each has offers and discount according to them. Moreover there are other stores too like for printing and stationary for clothes and for musicals instruments also. The

The presence of Morrisons makes this location very appealing. In contrast to other cities, Leeds features a Morrisons store right in the middle of the city. Several notable stores like Wilko, Superdrug, Iceland, etc. were also housed there.

  • Vez Davinho

Not even to the Merrion Centre in a long time and it was managed well. Socially distancing was adhered too as well as staff constantly cleaning up. Also found these gems on the corner of the Centre which was reminiscent of my younger days.

  • Callum Imeson

A very functional shopping center with many useful shops such as Home Bargains, Morrisons and Iceland. It's incredibly handy for a cash stretched student in the city. 4 stars because it feels dated and could do with modernisation.

  • 傅筱珺(Stephanie F)

There are many kinds of goods, and it is a nice store. However, there are not enough checkout counters, and the checkout speed of the cashier is slightly slower, and it often takes more than half an hour to queue up to checkout.

  • Gail Grange

A brilliant centre, not a large place. We went for a Chinese meal, which was delicious. Very friendly staff. Not a big place. I can't remember the name, but it's the only one in the Merrion centre. We'll certainly visit again.

  • David Wright

Went to Morrisons and couldn't believe the price of some of their saver brands marmalade, strawberry jam and salad cream all under 50p the quality was good which I must admit came as a surprise. Well worth trying for yourself

  • Dave Atkin

Nice enough as one of Leeds' shopping centres, greatly enhanced by the presence of Jumbo Records, one of the north's finest independent record shops since 1971. There didn't appear to be a public toilet in the Merrion Centre.

  • Noel Scott

There's not a lot on offer here it's one of the older shopping arcades in leeds it needs a good revamp, there is ok wheelchair access but the main entrance has no access meaning you need to go round to one of the side doors.

  • Nibedita Mukherjee

A place where one can go for shopping groceries with few good supermarkets, can spend time with family, sitting, eating and gossiping. Children can enjoy at the playing area. Overall a good place for family or solo visit.

  • Tim Carr

This place is a bit run down but actually brilliant for parking, some great places to eat that may look like just for students but great vfm. There’s even some kid friendly seating to watch the world go by. Rare in leeds

  • Alexandra Stuart

The Merrion Centre was a different section to Leeds centre. My only query is where has the Mechanical Man display gone? I am 52 years old and as a child I Loved watching him. Otherwise was a fantastic place I Shop world.

  • Liam G

Shops, food places and park, expensive to park, up to 2 hours is £6.50 and up to 3 hours is £8.50, it is leeds so parking is expensive, a fair range of shops available to browse whilst also a good choice of food outlets

  • Elspeth Rose

A bit worn out nowadays and very expensive to park at, which is discouraging. I don't usually shop in the Merrion but use it to park and pass through, though you can often find cheaper parking now on parking apps.

  • Tiya Aji

Good place to shop and eat, with a good bowling alley for a fun day out. Parking is nearby but expensive depending on which one you choose but within 15min walking of the train station and city square bus stops.

  • Annemarie Perella - Howard

Ok for most shops but the vinyl slopes at each entry/exit are a death trap to disabked people with shopping as they are way too slippery, even when it isn't raining and too wide a gap between the grab rails.

  • Nayah Ahmed

Nice little shopping center usually go everytime I'm in town, essential shops like Home Bargains, Heron Foods and ofcourse the Works is a must . Clean and a good way to cut through to get to other side .

  • Wayne Field

It's a run down shopping centre with downmarket shops. Good if you want some batteries from Poundland or to get your watch fixed cheaply, but little else to recommend it versus elsewhere in Leeds.

  • Paul Devivo

Busy common everyday shopping centre... Not the quality names, but the shops you need.. Morrisons, Home Bargains, The Works, Heron foods. It's more than okay. Must be... Spent far too long here!

  • Lorraine H

One of the Customer Services staff is very rude and quite aggressive, a young girl with reddish coloured hair. She's clearly in the wrong job or needs some training in how to speak to people.

  • Viktorija Petraviciute

The Leeds Jurassic Trail 2 is underway, there are 13 dinosaurs around town for which you can download the app to control them. Make sure to go during the day as they shut quite early.

  • Lijo Varghese

A clean and well maintained centre in the heart of Leeds. Some shops seemed to be closed at midday but overall a good place to visit with a variety of shops.

  • Jill Rodgers

Nice for all the different shops. Always looks a bit dated. Think it needs decorating or updating. You can find almost anything in the centre. Recommended.

  • Nick Shaw

Always like calling here ever since I was a kid, wish the big mechanical machine in the glass case was still there from years ago
