The service was awesome with everyone being friendly and answering my dumb questions lol they invited me to check out the farm in the back while they prepared my breakfast sandwich. DEFINITELY a hidden gem that needs to be checked out! The inside seating was open bright, open and comfortable, the outside seating had a very inviting farm feel to it with fireplaces and beautiful outside scenery. I came Saturday morning and again I cannot stress how nice the whole staff was! And the food was delicious, I’m going to definitely come back and flaring some family and friends!!

Pros: the cornbread crusted catfish plate and Mac n cheese were really good. The elder lady who was at the host stand was very sweet and accommodating Cons: the lady who served me was not friendly at all. First, she made me wait 30 minutes before I could place my order because she was busy having a casual conversation with another patron. I had to ask another younger girl (who was nice btw) to take my order. My main server was not attentive, had an attitude from the very first moment she came to my table and was super nonchalant. Another con, the collard greens were bland. Surprisingly, as I was expecting much more flavor in them

I absolutely love visiting this little gem of a restaurant l try to visit at least once a month. In addition to restaurant. Great food, great customer service and the prices are reasonable. They serve breakfast, brunch. No dinner is served as it closes at 3PM. There is a market for all sorts of fresh foods from honey to fresh greens and all in between There is an on site coffee shop. It’s no Starbucks but sufficiently tasty to make one come back for another cup. Of course don’t forget the farm where all sorts of veggies are grown.

My son and i enjoyed everything we ordered. I left there stuffed. Shrimp and grits 10/10 , burger and fries 10/10. He also said his peach cobbler was delicious. It came with coffee bean ice cream. The server was awesome. He made sure we were well taken care of out on the patio.

This place is a blessing to Bonton. Check out their website to gain more information about the work they do in South Dallas to address the food desert and poverty cycle. They have a heart for the community and it is seen, felt and heard when you visit. I had the pleasure of chatting with Sandra today and she is an amazing soul! I was blessed to be able to experience genuine conversation about our community and how we can make it better. I also stopped by to try breakfast and I think I have a once a week ritual ! I ran there (literally) to get food.
This is definitely a hidden gem! I work 3 minutes away and I will be coming back. I tried it out for the first time today. It took a few minutes to be seated, but it was pretty busy, so I understand. The staff was all very nice. The swamp tea was delicious and really refreshing for me. I ordered the Turkey wrap, and I am so glad. It was a large wrap and came with fries. The pickles are made in house and they were really good. I cannot wait to go back and try something new.

This restaurant is like a big hug from your grandma. It's counter-service style and only open for breakfast and lunch. The food was incredible - the catfish was hands-down the best I've ever had, and the complimentary hot sauce is legit. My husband had the Reuben, which he loved. What really makes this spot special is the people. Every single person we encountered effused joy. They all were genuinely happy and proud of the work and product they put out. We will definitely be back.
I drove from Ft Worth to visit because of their cause. However, their service needs major improvement. The food was ok and the menu is restrictive on the weekends ( cant sub for a different veggie even if its the same price). Unfortunately I don't see myself visiting again nor recommending aanyone any time soon. I hope they improve.

Sadly, this place has changed so much the last few months. The flavors and food used to be awesome (especially breakfast) but the menu has changed so much. We used to go all the time but the menu doesn't work for our family anymore.

What a hidden gem! I had friends passing through on their way home to Houston. I knew they’d be on the 75/45 corridor and I was coming from the east. Google reviews did not disappoint in the least. The setting is amazing, the people are some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered, and the food was absolutely fabulous. I will be 1. Returning with my family and 2. Sharing this little jewel with everyone I know.
Everything available here is farm to table, fresh and delicious. The place is so calm, with both indoor and outdoor seating. All the dishes are at an affordable price. People are extremely helpful. They also have a separate coffee shop next door.

Love the food, the people and the whole experience. I had the shrimp and cheesy grits. The best dish! Husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich and daughter had her usual turkey wrap. She's a regular, and now we will be too!

The Wrap, Fried Chicken Sandwich
This is a gem in Dallas!!!! There’s nothing not to like about this place at all. We were a big group, volunteered at the extension farm and then came here for lunch! I got a chicken sandwich and lemon cookies, both were sooooo good! The fries are super crispy!!!! Everything they cook is farm to table so feel free to enjoy anything!

Excellent place, friendly people, delicious food. One of my favorite places in DFW. Have been here multiple times and always left happy (and I live 30+ miles away). The catfish and French toast are particular favorites. Hope this place lives long and prospers.

The greens with lil slivers of brisket are the best in all of North Texas! No lie, next time I am getting two servings! Salad was fresh and filling. It contained goat cheese freshly made at the Bonton farm. The service was impeccable. If you want to get away to a farm style cafe in the middle of Dallas, go visit the Market at Bonton.
DISAPPOINTED, they didn't have the meatloaf, because an event they had over the weekend Something they had over the didn't have the collard greens ...They overpriced you give me on a piece of chicken you servant is a breast and one vegetable for $17, we didn't stay didn't have lemon or limes ,out it was Monday and it was 13:00 .
A true farm-to-table experience where you can enjoy their fresh-picked vegetables in a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and other entrees; and also take home their produce and beautiful farm eggs (which are smaller than most commercial eggs, but with bigger and more flavorful yolks) from the market store, afterwards.
Awesome place to eat. We dine in for lunch and placed a carry out order for the road as well. Little Lonnie showed us the farm and we got a chance to meet some really down to earth peoples. God is good. Thank you Amy for the suggestion.

Food was great. Service even better. Sweet potato hash good flavors with a little bit of a kick. Just how I like. I would like to thank Clifton(employee) for saving me. I left my wallet at home paid for my breakfast. Don't sleep on the sunny South Dallas.
Came for the first time today for a lunch date with my husband. We are in love! The food is delicious! We both had the Cornbread crusted catfish. There are no words for how good it is. The vibe is chill and friendly. Will definitely be a repeat visitor.
Bonton Farms is a great way to spend your morning or afternoon. Visiting the farm and the market allow you to support a local farm where you are directly supporting the residents of a low-income neighborhood. The Market has amazing food. I

I was really impressed by The Market at Bonton Farms. The whole mission of bringing affordable, healthy food to the neighborhood is a great idea, especially for food deserts. This is more than a grocery store too! It is a kitchen for
Visited this amazing place for a family dinner. The hospitality ,food and service were impeccable. This is a business that has a message of community building, reinvesting and giving back in service to those disenfranchised.
Food and service was amazing! After brunch my friends and I walked around the market where you can buy coffee, fresh produce, meats and even pet the goats. Love the mission of the farm and highly encourage everyone to visit!
Absolutely amazing farmers market, cafe, and coffee shop! The food and coffee were outstanding. They also have a very dog friendly patio with plenty of shade and water bowls. Love supporting small local businesses like this!
I loved everything about Bonton Farms. The staff, fresh ingredients, price point & what they're doing for the community all hits home. The food was much better than I thought it would be as well. I'll be back just for that.

This a fantastic breakfast and lunch spot in an area with few healthy options. The prices are amazing and the quality is top notch. I love this place!
The experience was incredible. Breakfast was good. Great staff but most importanly was the vision for the cafe and the area its in. Its a hidden gem.
Great place for fresh food and coffee. They have a beautiful patio area and are dog friendly. The history of this place inspiring as well.
Paige was so engaging, courteous, and personable — by far some of the best service I’ve had in NOLA. Live music was amazing too!
Wish I could give more stars- this is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Try everything- salsas, sauces, anything with honey.
I went but the wait was too long. I will return on the weekend. The place is nice and the staff is friendly. More
Great to know that there are people still working towards their neighborhood and the wellness of the human being
Very cool place. Stopped in for lunch. Good food, good service. They also have a nice outdoor patio. More
Enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waiter, Sergio, was so polite. The Fried Green Tomatos were delicious.
Amazing cafe. Enjoyed the scenery and the food. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Awesome Place! Very clean and tasty food. Heard this is a non-profit; all the more better.
