The experience when going to the clinic as well as the doctors is positive. However, their customer service if you have an issue is horrible. I took my test on Monday morning (9am) and paid 195 pounds for same day results. The results were supposed to be sent to me by the same afternoon. As the time went by and I still did not receive my results, I called and a person assured me that I would have them before 12 am. However, when I called later that night, as I still had not received my results, a person on the phone was very unhelpful and not at all understanding or empathetic with my situation. Moreover, he did not let me speak to the on call doctor, which could have possibly resolved the issue. I was in heightened anxiety for the whole night and the next day. I was continuously calling since 8:30 am unable to get a hold of anyone from the clinic that could help me. I was always connected to people who were external and were unable to get a hold of anyone in the clinic for more than 3 hours (I never managed to speak to anyone from the clinic). I was lucky to remember the name of the doctor, whom I had the test with and eventually his secretary sent me the test at 11am. Apparently, the lab they use had tried sending my test but forgot a letter from my email address (even though they had the right email). Moreover, my passport number as well as my date of birth were wrong. If I had not seen this, I would not have been able to fly. I used the London general practice service and paid 195 pounds (even though there are much cheaper tests) in order to to ensure that I will get my results back on time and to ensure a high quality service, so as to avoid all this anxiety and very stressful situation. This service as well as the errors that occurred are not the high level of service that I should have received, considering the amount of money I have paid. This was an issue that could have easily been resolved if I could have spoken to someone earlier. After this, I continuously tried to speak to the practice manager as I requested a refund (this was not a delay due to an overload of tests, but 3 mistakes from their side), as I received my "same day results" 27 hours later, after continuously trying and failing to talk to someone. The only reason I did not miss my flight was that I remembered the doctor's name and his secretary was informed, who forwarded to me the email to my actual email address. The clinic contacted me after my flight had departed to ask if "the issue was resolved". As expected I never heard back from the practice manager and never received my refund.

Travel requirements included a COVID-19 PCR test result within a predetermined number of hours before boarding. I searched for test centers and found them via Google. My criteria included a verified healthcare establishment with years of experience, within one hour from home, available over the weekend, good CQC rating and good Google reviews. With a limited number of hours between test and flight dates I could not afford to take risks on unverifiable remote services. My shortlist had only 2 names/offices as these were the only ones that met all my criteria. I emailed and called both. The London General Practice was the only one to answer plus reply my email. The staff who received my call took some details and informed me of the price which I had already seen during my search. The price seemed expensive (to me) but considering my circumstances, worth the assurances of a good GP office. My call was transferred to the doctor on duty. He was seeing a patient but called back confirming the appointment that morning. The MD also replied my email which I thought was a nice touch. I received a warm welcome at the front desk. I must say it felt refreshing that I was let in to the building BEFORE being asked if I had an appointment. My temperature was taken. I filled the necessary paperwork while seated. One could immediately notice the office is maintained with meticulous care. The doctor came to get me after a few minutes and he took my samples in one of the offices. He said I was just in time for the lab/testing center cut-off and I might receive the results that afternoon or the next day. The doctor made sure to confirm the day and time of my flight which I thought was very important. I made payment to the pleasant accounting staff and went home. Received result (GP certificate and pathology report) via email in the afternoon of same day! One source of travel headache solved in less than half a day. Absolutely brilliant feeling. The service delivery for the COVID-19 PCR test at The London General Practice was excellent. The only thing I would change is the price. Maybe that explains the absence of a crowd at their office. Nevertheless, I immediately called some colleagues who would want the assurances of a smooth and "stress-less" COVID-19 PCR test. The following day (today), the MD emailed requesting a Google review. I said yes. Obviously.

Please DO NOT use this practice! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! As a medical health professional myself (I am a Dental Surgeon) I cannot state how poor the customer service is! I was booked to fly on business to Dubai for an important meeting and paid £295 for a COVID PCR test which was promised to be returned within 24 hours. A month later I STILL have not received any results from the practice despite chasing them up on the phone SIX times prior to boarding my flight. In the end I had to have a COVID test done at Dubai airport and had to quarantine for 24 hours till I received my results. Due to this I had to reschedule my business meeting which caused a massive amount of stress and anxiety. I have sent a number of emails to the practice regarding my complaint and I have yet to receive ANY response. This is by far and away the worst service I've ever received from any type of medical practice and I advise anyone thinking of using the service to look elsewhere. ================================ Update ================================ After numerous failed attempts to contact the practice manager to get a resolution to my problem, I was eventually told that I had an issue with my email address when this was completely incorrect and the correct email address was indeed given at time of registration. Despite this, the matter is still outstanding and I am STILL awaiting a satisfactory resolution to my complaint. I have still not been contacted by the practice manager despite reassurances that I would be. The practice manager has accepted that although there may have been an issue with emailing me my results, the reception staff should have realised this and emailed my results to an alternative email address and this would have saved a lot of stress! I called on SIX separate occasions on the day of my flight and spoke to a number of reception staff and none of them thought of re-emailing me the results whilst I was on the phone to them. Rather, they continually dismissed me and told me I would be contacted by a member of staff at their earliest convenience. This is downright poor customer service and resulted in me missing an important business meeting because I had to isolate on my arrival in Dubai until I received my Covid test result which was conducted at the airport.

I had a terrible experience with the The London General Practice and I would not recommend it to anybody. I booked a Covid-19 Day 5 test to release few weeks in advance with the assurance that I would have had same day results. As I had work related meetings the following day I opted for this solution which was considerably more expansive (£195) compared to similar services in London. To try to avoid any issue I booked the first appointment available in the morning (~9.30am) and showed up at the practice 30 minutes in advance, even if same day results are guaranteed when you take the test later in the day. Early evening I started worrying as I had not received the results and I called the clinic to ask what was the issue. They told me not to worry and that the results would have been sent by 23.59. I called again a couple of hours later and a very rude doctor told me that he would have checked if there was any issue with my test and called me back. I have never received a call back. I received the test results only the day after with a great impact on my working day. On the same day I sent an email to ask for refund as I have not received the service that I paid for. The following day the clinic replied saying that the query was passed to the manager and that they would have got back to me shortly. After two weeks I have not heard back yet. I called the clinic asking for clarifications, and they replied to me that they will likely not refund me as I have received the service. The problem is that I received a completely different service compared to what I fully paid for. It would be like a British Airways not refunding the ticket after travelling with a day of delay, or Deliveroo charging the the dinner after delivering the day after. Please stay away from this practice

Absolutely the worst clinic experience EVER!!! This clinic was selected as our company’s partnered supplier for employees’ Covid-19 test, but I have to say that we are extremely disappointed with their service, I wrote a complaint letter to them and heard nothing from them. It looks like they don’t care at all, alright then, I will have to write my feedback here and hopefully more people can see this. Firstly They promised to provide some sort of VIP door-to-door service, we all thought it would a cooperating trustworthy driver plus a professional clinic staff to do the on-site sample collection etc… but it turned out that they just booked an Addison Lee man & van service, and this not the worst part, then I contacted Addison Lee and found out and the actual charge of this courier job was 128.88 GBP, BUT THIS CLINIC CHARGED US 410 GBP. Secondly they sent incorrect test kit. As a professional clinic, we thought all the testing kits should be handled with extra care, but they don’t do so. We booked the service for three people, but one of the test kits’ label had the wrong name, which made this person's sample unacceptable by the lab, plus we had to do lots of communication calls and spent all day dealing with this issue, lots of hassles for us. In the same way, if we received the wrong package, there must be another customer somewhere else who also received the wrong package, which has affected two customers’ tests. May I ask, what if there is an emergency or a passenger who needs to travel next day? The delay could cause serious outcomes, but again, I guess they don’t really care.

This is a total rip-off I am only giving 2 Stars as the doctor is OKish however the business model that drives this is misleading. The operator tells you that there is a charge of £400 then when the doctor calls he mentions that it is £500...however the trick and where they have been not explicit about it clear and perhaps intentionally misleading is that they don't charge per visit + travel. The rate is applied from when the doctor leaves the surgery to when he comes back from your home visit. A visit of 1hr cost me £1,000+ as they have added the travel time and any intervention they did. So the doctor travelling time where he is not really in consultation with the patient face to face is the same as when he is! (So technically the time he spends waiting for Uber and talking to Uber driver is charged as a medical consultation with the patient!) Doctor does not give you prescription or even knows how to write a medical report, to explain the situation and what he has actually dome however knows well how to use the Credit Card machine which he brings with him. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND VERY MUCH MISLEADING. 1HR+ VISIT COST ME ALMOST £1,000 AND END UP GOING TO A&E STRAIGHT AFTERWARDS. I totally disagree. The quoted visit cost by the operater was £400, and even when the doctor called he quoted a different price which was £500, which I have also accepted. BUT WHAT YOU HAVE NOT TOLD ME THAT YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL TIME FROM AND TO YOUR OFFICE SO I ENDED UP PAYING £1000 WHICH IS DOUBLE THE PRICE QUOTED.

I have been a patient at the London General practice over the last 3 years and have been impressed by the fantastic team of doctors, support staff and receptionists who are very professional and efficient. I have always been able to make appointments with ease and they are always super helpful to adjust any appointments if needed. I was highly impressed with the outstanding medical service provided by the London general practise during my travels to London during COVID times when travel was restricted, and I was visiting from the USA. Dr Catrin Bevan provided fantastic service. All my required appointments with consultants were managed for me and appointments secured in a very timely manner. Dr Bevan did everything to ensure I got the treatment required before having to leave the UK giving me peace of mind and I felt totally cared for. I am highly impressed with the outstanding medical service provided by the London general practise and would recommend them to anyone.

So so disappointed with the service. I have been going here for almost 8 years and the drs I have seen are for the most part very good and high quality professionals, but the entire infrastructure of this place is otherwise a disaster. The reception staff are very rude/ unsympathetic. They are completely disorganized and any emails you send them go missing or aren't responded to such that you have to follow-up multiple times by phone wasting a lot of time. I was inappropriately charged for a full appt when I only booked a telephone consult. Then I received a separate invoice for that telephone consult (basically triple charged for one telephone consult). Routine rescriptions refills routinely go missing or aren't sent on time or in accordance with instructions given. They need to improve the support staff as it really impacts on the quality of care. Also when you have an issue its impossible to get anyone on the line who can actually help you.

Anything but hassle-free. Managed to book and pay in full for a Covid test easily for the same day with a next day result promised. Should have known it wouldn’t be that easy. Never received a confirmation or a receipt despite repeated requests. Doctor didn’t call for the consultation at the appointed time had to chase repeatedly before getting a call back - ok fine they’re busy but would I have heard anything if I had not chased?. The couriered test actually arrived quickly and was sent back. Now it’s past 9pm the next day and no result. Edit Ok so the NHS has fallen down and they are crazy busy. Did eventually get through and get an answer. Not their fault with backlogs. I shall sheepishly increase the stars because while it was stressful we did get a result in the end. Whew!

I have been a patient here for almost ten years. I had heart and cancer surgery during those times and can forcefully say that one of the doctors in the practice saved my life. More to the everyday experience, the doctors and staff are friendly, extremely competent and reliable and will take time for you and your condition. I have never written a review on anything and probably won’t ever again but do so because I am grateful for the professional and friendly care over many years. Are they better than others - I can’t tell but I definitely and warmly recommend this great group of doctors to anyone who needs medical assistance, however serious the condition.

I tried calling to book an in person COVID test, admittedly with short notice, but their website advertises 24-7 service etc and I live in the neighbourhood. Reception couldn't tell me availability, took my details and said I would get a call. After a few hours of no updates I called back again, same thing. I called a third time, same thing. Never heard from them, besides some general "thanks for calling" form emails that seemed to say I should keep calling. Thankfully I got a test elsewhere. How can Reception not know availability? And if there's no availability, why not just say so? It was a waste of my time.

  • Héctor Rivas Gándara

Booked a covid test. I cannot do the trip anymore, But took a while to cancel, had to call several times for 5 days in a row. They always say they will call back. At the end they replied my email to cancel. Better use email I guess. I am not fussy about the lead time for a refund, but a simple acknowledgement would be enough. I don't blame the employees, but likely they are understaffed, they told me they had a big backlog and the refund happened at night on Friday. Charging 300 for a test, they could invest a bit more on staff.

Avoid, expensive with poor accounting. I took a PCR test to release at an eye watering 295gbp in Dec 2020, as there were not many options for that at the time. The service was ok, results were on time (just about). The test was prepaid online. A year later, I got chased for the same invoice. I first challenged, thinking that I had already paid, but then checking the wrong account for outgoings and not finding the expense, I ended up paying for a second time. I do expect now a refund asap for my second payment.

  • Ayako Adachi

Absolutely terrible practice. We booked a test and release with same day test results and they never delivered the results same day. It’s been more than 24 hours since the result and still nothing. Having called about 10 times - still nothing. Their service is atrocious. On top of it they charged us twice and it took them 3 weeks and us going to the clinic for them to respond and agree to reimburse the incorrectly charged amount. This place is a scam - don’t go there.

  • Lily Cole

Don't use this company. I would give one star if I could. Incredibly easy service when you want to pay (and high prices). But if anything goes wrong they are the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Impossible to get a refund even when it's legally owed. Impossible to contact accounts. They don't have an email address and are never available when you call. They don't call you back or email back. Massive waste of time.

My girlfriend paid £428 for 2 covid at home tests. They were needed for our flight the next day. They took the money and never showed up. Didnt respond to tens of calls and e mails and just totally blanked us. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM THEY ARE CON ARTISTS. For 2 months we have tried contacting them and asking for our money back but they are refusing to help and have just stolen our money. DISGRACEFUL

  • Jeff Mochan

London General Practice was the most expensive COVID fit to fly tests on the list, and in world-famous Harley Street, so I expected first class service from a centre of excellence. Unfortunately the service was terrible - they blamed the late results on their supplier changing systems - and i almost missed my flight. I would not recommend them to anyone needing time-critical test results. Poor…

  • Giulia Moliarov

Terrible experience. I called asking to get an appointment as soon as possible as was very sick and needed medication. They said they would charge £500 to £575 per visit or £380 for a virtual visit, which is 4 times more than other respectable private clinics in London. I asked to have the virtual visit but they never called back.

  • Gillian Carter

LGP has been our doctor for years and are so good. Dr Bevan always available or if not finds another doctor straightaway. Whether it is the annual medicals or one-off consultation referrals she knows the right consultant. From the welcome on entry to the nurses and secretaries you feel the professionalism all the time. Booked in and seen quickly by Dr Bennett for a Covid test to allow me to fly home. I had the test Friday morning and results by noon on Saturday. They're not the cheapest to offer the service but you get what you pay for and I couldn't be happier with the experience from my first call to getting the results...highly recommended.

  • D D

Disgraceful. I emailed to make an appointment - no reply. I called and the HQ centre assured me someone from the team would call me. No phone call. Waste of time. Updating: still no contact but they asked for my address and phone number. The GMC should look into them if they truly uphold public safety and health.

  • Jennifer jones

I was traveling through the UK and found myself in London needing the services of a doctor on a Sunday afternoon. I had no idea where to turn but came across this practice through a friend. The doctor agreed to meet with me and I received excellent care. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

  • Amelia Knight

This practice is a life saver. In particular Dr Bevan who goes up and beyond the call of duty and is always there for me. I have had several emergencies in the past couple of months which have been dealt with with speed and kindness and patience. Its greatly appreciated.

  • Deborah Dor

Calls are frustratingly answered by an answering service so you can never get through to the Doctors assistant. When you do speak with the doctors assistants they are pleasant and obliging but the medical care from the Doctors is inconsistent and questionable at best.

  • Melissa Feagin

Called on a Saturday of the Jubilee and within a minute or two I spoke to an extremely helpful doctor. He gave great advice concerning the Covid virus I gave to my elderly parents who I am visiting in London. It was much appreciated.

  • Stuart Sanders

I booked my day 2 PCR test from Mallorca using the London General Practice website. The process was stress-free, the test kit arrived in time and the result was delivered by email within ten hours. Happily, the result was negative!

  • ALISON banks

Excellent service. Dr Bevan was easy to talk to and very quick to arrange follow ups. All my worries were dealt with quickly. The doctors I was referred to were also really nice and the whole experience was excellent.

  • Georgina Disney-May

Fantastic service! The practice sorted all my travel covid tests and results. I couldn’t be more impressed with them and would definitely book again for my next trip abroad. They made the process so straight forward!

  • Andrew Dowding

I have been a client of the London General Practice for over five years and have nothing but praise for the exceptional quality of care and high levels of service that they have provided me with over that time.

  • MICHAEL RUDD

I found my visit to the LGP to be extremely professional and best of all, very punctual. All of the team are super polite and attentive and i was very well looked after by Dr Bevan.
