Dreadful service, don't call back or answer the phone. Last year I went to the branch to get a heavy, bulky parcel. I went with another person and the staff didn't help at all. They put the massive parcel in a space between two door (by pushing to on the floor with their foot, good thing it wasn't fragile...), and I had to open the other door, keep it open and take that parcel. It was a pain and nobody even tried to help two tiny skinny people lift at 40kg parcel..... Now I have another problem regarding a parcel held at that office. They should have called me back yesterday but they didn't and they won't answer their phone. The only number to call them you have to pay even if your call don't get through. It's urgent and my parcel is at risk of being sent back but I cannot go there because their opening hours are during my working hours and it's also very far from me. AVOID. if that is your "local" post office, try and get your parcels sent a day you'll be sure you can receive them. Do not let parcelforce leave your parcels there.

The staff push the most expensive services onto people without offering normal services, I have visited several times as it is my local PO and witnessed this plus experienced myself. A man was charged 6.70 for a small sized local letter which he did not want to go by any special means, he said it seemed expensive and the staff member continued with the SCAM giving him only expensive options, all he needed was a stamp!!! These employees need to be reported, I realise this is a business but this is not morally correct at all. I will no longer be using this PO and will have to go to one further away as I cannot witness people be conned in this way. The employees should have some respect and instead of being fast to rip people off, perhaps offer customers the service they actually require, especially vulnerable people such as the elderly. Very disappointing.

Terrible customer service. Rude staff. I was going to be a regular customer here using them for my business but after a few weeks using this branch on a daily basis the customer service cannot be excused. The staff do not smile, they do not greet you, they don't use basic manners and they are not shy about shouting at any customer. On my initial visit I put it down to a bad day when the lady at the counter yawned in my face. The next occasion the man serving was no better and shouted at me because I had forgotten a slip of paper for him to stamp and it meant he had to print a proof of posting slip - I mean he shouted at me! I have since been in plenty more times and witnessed other customers being treated very poorly. I dread it so much now that I would rather walk to a different branch. I feel sorry for you if you have to use this branch.

What terrible service, just went there this past Saturday and there is only 1 member of staff and she was so so rude, my partner and i had to bite our lip many a time. Made a money gram transaction and i checked the box on the form to have a card issued and because she was incompetent she couldn't issue the card to us because she hadn't done something on her end and made it out it was our problem. I just moved to the JQ but i will be sure not to return to this post office. Talk about poor customer service especially on a Saturday late morning/afternoon when customer traffic is high. I am still fuming at how rude the lady was and also there was no pen available even at the kiosks to write with...........and you call yourself a Post Office - what happened to good customer service.

Staff are rude, slow, they do not smile or greet you and they push the most expensive prices. Due to this being my closest post office i have posted a lot of parcels there however i wouldnt recommend it. The que is usually really long no matter time of day and staff are so slow, i understand that they are understaffed and tired however this customer service is no good. Staff insist on you spending more than you want for posting. They talk amongst themselves when serving you, and i dont mean small talk i mean full on conversation, which slows everything down. Worth going a little bit further for good customer service rather than going here

Really poor service. They are bunch of unhelpful people. All you get is an angry woman shouting at you that she is trying to help whilst all she is doing is making excuses not to help. This is not the first time I was not impressed with them. The other time guy just would not serve me. He sent me to another guy who was trying to explain the attitude of the previous one. I just don’t understand what even happened. I hate this place and hate that they have monopoly because their attitude is just poor.

This is my local post office i run a beauty business where i have to send packages daily its so stressful and sad that they have such poor service and expensive prices i sell the same items yet the prices increase every other time i now drive to the Dudley road branch instead as seems Jewellery quarter branch charges me double for sending parcels compared to other post offices. Absolute rubbish scamming services

I would agree with a lot of the reviews about this place... The male in the shop counter area is arrogant and as unhelpful as is humanly possible... Unfortunately his terrible customer service and bad attitude appears to have spread to the post office staff.. This should be a flagship post office given its prime location.. however it is like a sinking ship.. Are you listening HR??

Surprised by the number of negative comments here, at least my experience today was very positive. I rarely visited post offices so I was totally unfamiliar with the process. Every staff I asked for information today was kind and helpful, which led to a successful outcome. There is a small convenience store inside as well, where you can find some items with competitive prices.

Probably one of the least friendly and unhelpful places in the JQ. Don't get me wrong, I get it - you're understaffed and over worked. But something has to change! You're not providing a fantastic and enjoyable service to the public. I've never once seen it! If you're not happy in your job, tell your manager to make a change! Or you will continue to lose customers!

Worst post office ever. I can't even say its staffing issues. There is a general and consistent attitude of "cant be bothered-ness". A queue of 10 plus people will be met with 2 staff, and then 1 staff member will go to have a chat with another staff member. If lower than 1 was an option I'd have used that. Please note 1 star was used at great reluctance.

The staff seem to be too busy speaking to each other to pay any attention to the customer, seem yo blame you when they print the wrong postage because they didn't listen to your request. Everyone seems to be shouting as well, so it's hard to hear them or yourself. Probably better off walking to a post office thats a bit further away

Waiting in line for about 5-8mins with other customers when a old Asian man just walks in front of everyone else and gets served because the woman behind the counter knows him. this is just plan right rude! staff have no customers service ! and there was no reason giving there was 8 other customers waiting to be served

If you want to be stressed - welcome. Staff often is rude. They always have other rules than other post offices. I work in JQ and used this post office a few times per week but I decided to travel far to avoid them. I wasn't to back to home stressed. Congrats to loose next customer (for over 100 parcels per month).

Got my BRP from here, the staff was more than polite. Post office is half the space and rest is a small stationary store. Boxes for postage available. Tapes and enveloppes stationary everything is here. Counter is fast and to the point. Even though a small line was there but was moving fast. Nice place.

I’ve been here twice to collect a parcel and both times I was told that my parcel hadn't arrived. Both times I walked out having collected my parcel after looked at their delivery book myself. My conclusion is that the staff is lazy, non serious and unprofessional. They are in need of serious training.

This is my local post office so obviously ideal to use however the staff are rude and unhelpful! Clear lack of customer service and more interested in talking between themselves. I've also had a parcel sent back to the sender after only being held for half a day. Definitely worth using somewhere else.

Staff are so rude! This is the second time we have been in now where they have refused to print off the proof of postage receipts for me. They state that it’s ‘not their job’ even though without the receipts I have no proof of postage. So disappointed as it’s our local.

This has to be the most unhelpful and unprofessional post office I have ever come across, the staff are extremely rude, unhelpful and only offer the most expensive tracking for parcels when it clearly states on the Royal Mail website cheaper services are available.

Absolutely shocking. Not worth my time typing up the series of issues that impacted our business due to the poor service, attention and organisation of this branch. Avoid and avoid use a different branch.

They staff is best and specially the owner. He has offered us the best mail lite bubble bags deal. For online sellers like us it is very beneficial. We highly recommend this post office.
