I regularly shop at the home depot Kanata location (store #7108) and today I went in to get a few tiles. The woman working the department (Erin), was with a customer, however they were just chatting socially about Christmas, the weather and everything in between for a good 10 min. The customer asked if I needed the clerk's help, to which I replied, "yes, but take your time, I can wait." I then proceeded to wait a ways away from them to give space, and about 7 or 8 min later they finished gabbing and the clerk asked what she could help with. My request was a very simple one. I just wanted to know if the unopened box of single sheets of tiles could be opened as I didn't see any. I wasn't sure if as a customer, I was allowed to un box and take, so I asked for assistance. Turns out there was an open box shoved far in the back that I must have missed. I profusely apologized, stating I must have missed it and thanked her a dozen times or more. Instead of saying "you're welcome" or something to that effect, she walks away stating loudly enough for me to hear, "it's not that bloody difficult to look in the back, Jesus". I couldn't believe what I heard. I walked up to her, asked for her name to which she replied with Erin, and I proceeded to ask for a manager's assistance. When I tried to get a manager, I was repeatedly told that there was no manager in the store, he was on vacation and she didn't know when he would return. Complete and total BS. There are more than one manager per store. They have an assistant manager, as well as various department managers, none of which were called. I was shooed out of the store and told "it'll be dealt with, don't worry." I didn't buy that so I called the store and sure enough, there was an assistant manager on duty. It took 20 min of being passed around to every single person BUT the assistant manager but I finally got through. I was told he would investigate and get back to me. He did call back, but it was excuses and a lot of "I'm sorry there isn't anything I can do for you." She gave excuses stating I had "rushed her" with her customer, which was total BS. I stood patiently on my phone waiting for her to finish. I was polite, friendly, profusely thanked her for her help, and I was treated disgustingly in return. She had the audacity to look at me and laugh at me after I asked for her name. This matter was absolutely not dealt with properly. She received no warning, wasn't sent home, not a damn thing and all I got was "we can't help you". I'm sorry but if that's how you're going to allow your staff to treat customers, you're going to lose customers. I was simply asking for her to do the job she was as hired to do. That's what she's employed to do, assist customers, and she failed miserably. I will be reaching out to head office and anyone else that may be able to assist me with getting some form of recourse for this, as matters like this should not be swept under the rug and ignored. This woman deserved at the very least to be sent home from her shift without pay. But no, she was given a brief talking to and I was told there was nothing that could be done. Well I'm sorry, but I don't accept that nothing can be done. I won't be shopping here again, which is a shame because it's my regular store that I shop quite frequently. But I'm in that tile department often and frankly I never want to see that woman's face again after how nasty she was towards me, and for no good reason other than laziness. She told the manager she simply didn't want to open another box of tiles. Yup, that was her excuse. She couldn't be bothered to cut the very, very tiny piece of tape that was holding the box closed. That was too much of an inconvenience for her. Unbelievable.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting my local Home Depot, and I must say, it was a fantastic shopping experience from start to finish. Home Depot has consistently proven itself as a go-to destination for all of my home improvement needs, and this visit was no exception. First and foremost, the store layout is incredibly organized, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The signage and helpful staff members are always ready to assist in finding the right products, ensuring I never feel lost or overwhelmed. The variety of products available at Home Depot is truly impressive. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast, a professional contractor, or simply looking to spruce up your living space, Home Depot has everything you need. From power tools to gardening supplies, plumbing fixtures to paint colors, their selection is extensive. What truly sets Home Depot apart is their commitment to customer service. The staff members are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and eager to provide assistance. During my visit, I had several questions, and each time, an associate was readily available to offer guidance and recommendations. Additionally, Home Depot's price match guarantee and frequent sales and promotions ensure that you're getting the best value for your money. It's reassuring to know that you won't have to break the bank for quality products. Lastly, Home Depot's online ordering and curbside pickup options have been a lifesaver, especially during these challenging times. The convenience of browsing and purchasing online and then quickly picking up my items without having to enter the store is a game-changer. In conclusion, Home Depot continues to impress me with its exceptional service, extensive product range, and commitment to customer satisfaction. It's the one-stop shop for all things home improvement, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to tackle projects big or small. I'll definitely be returning for all my future home improvement needs.
Literally an unreal experience. I have worked retail my whole life and never have I ever experienced something like this. I placed a curbside delivery at first a week ago and after 48 hours I still had not received a confirmation email so I cancelled my order. Then yesterday I gave them the benefit of a doubt and re-ordered something because my husband and I needed it fast. I got the confirmation email this morning and my husband went after work to pick it up. After waiting AN HOUR Where are my husband finally had to go and find someone again to tell them he was still waiting they then brought out the order, but it was missing items. When my husband said I’m missing some things from this order the kid who was helping him stated there was not one, however obviously it was clear they marked off two cans of paint but only gave one. So my husband waited another 20 minutes for a second can of paint. I tried calling their head office and after calling about seven times I kept getting told to text someone because their customer service lines are busy so I texted someone to be talking to a robot who wanted to confirm if I wanted to re-order something. I asked if I could talk to a human and it did not comprehend what I was asking. Never going here again. I then tried calling the store to speak to the manager however sat waiting for 18 minutes from customer service. My god. Lost our business and my husband had a huge order as he’s a contractor and is building a condominium. NEVER again.
I needed a 10' downspout cut in half to fit in an SUV, and was told by an aisle worker that the guys at tool rentals could cut it for me. I bring it to tool rentals right after paying for it. The worker brings it to the shop to cut it, but comes back later and reports to me that he doesn't have a hacksaw to cut it with. According to the two guys working tool rentals, there is ONE hacksaw for the entire facility, and another department currently has it, and no one knows where it is. I asked if there was any other possible solution to this very simple problem. Perhaps using an angle grinder? the other guy tells me that in order to use any of the power tools for this cut, I would have to rent the tool. The first guy then suggests I put the downspout in the car with the trunk open and tied down (this would leave about 5' of spout sticking out, which is precisely why I wanted it cut in half). I tell them I don't have any ties. They tell me I can buy them at the front. What a wonderful sales pitch. I decided to just return the downspout. I can come back another day and bring my own saw and cut it myself. Home Depot- How Doers Get More Done. In total I waited around 10 minutes for the guys at tool rentals to get nothing done. They were neither friendly nor rude, but definitely not helpful in this very simple task. They had no motivation to attempt any kind of critical thinking or problem solving. All I needed was a downspout cut in half.
Updating my review to account for the wonderful gentleman who helped me out. I highly regret not taking down his name to add to this review. I handed him a screw with a nut and washers on it and kindly asked if he could direct me to the right spot. He literally found each of the three elements, counted them out for me, and bagged them so that the cashier could easily ring me up. Service so great I almost felt awkward letting him do everything for me! Much appreciated. Forklift guy was in a snit today. After bouncing around the store trying to find my order, I am finally brought outside, where my order was sitting under the elements. Very dirty and wet. Forklift guy was complaining about how long the order had been waiting (they give you 30 days). No direction whatsoever, I felt like like was in the wrong place. Despite no direction forklift operator kept laughing at me because I didnt know what he was trying to. My truck is in the way.. or "you wanna put that gate down, orr". Difficult to find help, difficult to find what I'm looking for, and the few staff we did see kept blocking us in with the "closed asile" barriers ahaha. I guess they're doing online orders and can't load while customers are around.. but like I have to move the damn things 6 times and it's hard enough to navigate a full cart. Some aisles are closed for no reason, too, and I had to move barriers to get what I want.
I had an uncomfortable experience at the self checkout at this location this morning - I approached the checkout with a basket full of mostly small items and was greeted by a cashier named Jeremy. He said 'good morning' as I placed the basket down next to the scanner. As I had forgotten to bring a bag, I stepped around the cash and grabbed one of the reusable bags for sale, scanned it and began putting the items through, scanning them myself. As soon as I started doing this, though, Jeremy comes over and actually starts taking the items out of my basket and starts scanning them himself. What made this uncomfortable was that I didn't ask for his help, nor did he explain his reasons for jumping in and doing the work for me. Out of curiosity, after I was finished, I stood by the door and watched as a couple of other people with similar orders went through (5-8 items max), and not one of them was approached by Jeremy or "helped" the way I was. I'd like to think that there's some sort of policy in place whereby if customers are bringing through more than a certain number of items, they would be offered help at the self checkout, but it definitely didn't feel that way for me. I don't want to mention prejudiced attitudes as being the reason for his behaviour, but I'm also not physically incapable of operating a self checkout...
Just recently had to buy another new fridge from HD. First new LG fridge was about 3 years old and the compressor died. Warranty only covered compressor replacement with huge labour cost, so more economical to buy a new one. Next new LG fridge (different model) just died last week (two years later). Same situation as the previous - compressor died, manufacturers warranty covered to replace the part, but diagnostic fee plus $600 labour fee. So off to curbside for fix-it pickers. So this time (third time's a charm, right?) NO MORE LG. A different major brand company will be reaping the benefit of poor industry standards. Bottom line: LG fridges are well priced, attractively designed. HOWEVER, buyer beware. Do not be swayed by these deceptions, or the raving 5 star reviews by the new LG fridge honeymooners. Gone are days where fridges run for 10 years or longer. Max 4-five years, so start sending letters to Appliance Co. Executives and Consumer Affairs. Because as they say, Silence is consent. And we don't want Silence or else nothing will improve and the companies will keep reaping the profits of bad quality products. And BTW I've had very similar experience in recent years with Clothes Washing Machines.
Extremely Content with my purchase and service! I was rather hesitant to go to Home Depot in person. When I arrived there was moderate # of vehicles in the parking lot. Obviously one had to line-up outside but there were only a handful in front. It took a while to get in but once I was inside I never expected things would be so easy. I wanted to purchase some lumber boards to fix my decaying picnic table. One of the young sales people working in the lumber department took care of my request. To make 2 (6’x9”x1.5”) I needed to purchase a 12-foot board. To make the rest (6’x5.5”x1.5) I ended buying 2 long boards making 4 smaller ones. These will do to replace the top table. The guy cut these for me to my specifications. We even engaged in friendly conversation. As I checked-out my purchases the middle-age cashier stood by and immediately assisted me. Despite her overwhelmed temperament (can’t blame her since everything is so new due to COVID), she was extremely friendly & polite. I've never felt so gratified! I left the wholesale store happy-camper w/ my purchase. Excellent customer service. Thank you!
I was not happy with my experiences here. I ordered items online and arrived for pick up. There were a lot of issues there, and not my first time with it either. They left us waiting after calling in for 3 hours, multiple employees passed off tasks (such as item retrieval) to other sections and other employees, and items were forgot. Several items that I did get were opened already, and a couple of my bags of soil were about 2/3 full due to large holes and from dumping the soil on the ground while loading the bags. I was really displeased with the level of service, the lack of customer service, and level of apathy from the service workers. There was an amazing girl in the Garden Centre who did work hard to remedy the situation and take over from the persons who were bringing items out as she saw how displeased we were and after learning how long we were waiting. She was a great customer service worker. She is the reason why this isn't a 1-star review. I hate giving bad reviews and generally avoid leaving one if I can, but I feel like this was earned.
Whoever the shift manager or night manager was at the time of me leaving this review (5:30pm Saturday Nov 18th), just cost his store several thousand dollars in sale, due to a really bad attitude. My family and I went there (with our dog) to purchase kitchen appliances for a new house (fridge, oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer) and light fixtures for our current house. I had asked an employee in front the store of they allowed dogs inside and she said absolutely. About 20 minutes in, my dog wee'd in the aisle - it was an accident, and asked an employee for help so we could clean it. He nervously told us, while speaking to his supervisor that we can't leave because he wants to speak to us. He then came by with a mop and bucket, visibly angry, and started telling us what we should and shouldn't do with the dog, etc., while his employee stood there looking clearly afraid of him. Goodbye Home Depot, Hello Rona!
This store hands down has the best customer service I have ever experienced. We went to buy a three piece set to complete the basement washroom and James in the bathroom section was an the best thing that could happen to an amateur like me. He took us over all the options we had and and pointed out the absolute best things we needed, he never tried to sell us the most expensive thing and was very aware of our budget when he was helping us out. We spent around 2 hours going around the store picking things up and he was with us every single second and was very very cheerful and excited for our first renovation. I wish he gets the plaudits he deserves, solid guy. Also a shout-out to Karen and Peter, they gave us very sound advice and was also very patient throughout the different processes. I can't recommend this particular home Depot enough, if I could, I would give it 7 stars.
We rented a tool to do some demolition, the tool arrived with the wrong blade and was therefore not effective. I called the rental office at 8:30 and was told that they were too busy to help me as they had a line up at their counter (fair enough) I did explain though that the tool was essentially useless to us without a fix (we didn't know at the time that it was the wrong blade). They said they would mark it as urgent and get right back to me. An hour later, I called again, and spent 15 minutes trapped in an endless loop of hold music and ringing phones, which were never answered. My husband took the tool back, was told that the blade was the wrong one, and was charged a 4 hour rental fee. At about 2:30 that afternoon, I finally got a call back from Home Depot 6 hours too late and about 3 hours after the tool was returned. No bueno!!
Holy mackerel, what a great experience! Home Depot had a much lower price on a big Toro snowblower than anyone else, and their site showed they had stock in Kanata - which they actually did: in the box, fresh from the factory; exactly what I wanted. I asked if they had any other promotions such as credit card sign-up, which they did, giving me another $100 off. And how could I most economically get the new machine home? With one of their rental vans, with some good ramps; they’d look after loading the machine up at the store for me (which took a fair bit of work!). This highly-successful purchase was quite a project and in total I was directly assisted by 8 associates, all of whom were very friendly, helpful, and professional. And yes, when I got the snowblower home, the new machine started on the very first pull!
I visited Home Depot in Kanata Ontario on 07/08/2022 and had the pleasure of dealing with Caroline and Kyle the ASM, I can not explain how happy I was with both of them! they went out of their way to help me and make sure I left happy. I bought a shed and there were some defects I mean don't get me wrong it's a beautiful shed but definitely had some issues, I went in and within 20 minutes start to finish I was out with my issues resolved thanks to both Kyle and Caroline. I have been going to this particular Home Depot for about 15 years and I can honestly say no matter how far I live this is the store I will ALWAYS go to, the customer service is outstanding and they have the kindest and most helpful employees and I can not ask for better service. Keep up the great work you guys are AMAZING!!!!
AND still no contact from manager to explain how they have so many in warehouse but orders I are on back order, which we only found out by pursuing questioning service desk! Recently purchased an electric fireplace, was told 41 in stock at warehouse and would be delivered by a certain date. Heard nothing approaching delivery date. Husband went in and was told delivery wouldn’t be before December 20th! The lady couldn’t understand the delay so called to have manager come to the front desk, which he did not, was told they would look into it. Very disappointing when you know they are in stock close by in Montreal. What has happened to customer service! Manager should have to speak directly to us, very quick to take your money but no service!
My trip to Home Depot ended up getting me what I wanted. However the web site is less than optimum. I got so frustrated with the search engine on the website that I ended up actually going in the store to search for the product I wanted. They had it. I bought it. Don't try using the website. You need to know EXACTLY what you are looking for if you want the website to find what you are searching for. Pretty sure whoever developed the search engine never tested it with the average consumer.. I even had two associates tell me how bad it was. Also had trouble twice at cash number 9. Both times the cashiers told me that cash 9 is always a problem. They complain but no one fixes the issue.
The store is kept clean and pricing is easy to see. It happens a lot that stock isn't accurate on the website, especially if they claim to have 1 or 2. Often the product I need is out of stock in the store with no idea if/when the store will receive more. The store currently has taped orange arrows on the floor for most aisles to have people go one way, but 50% or more don't follow them. I think that it's not announced at the entrance (sign) that we have to follow arrows and the tape itself isn't very large/noticeable. We went to the store to pick up an online order and had to wait over 30 minutes to get the 6 items while a lineup was getting longer and longer.
A lot of unhelpful employees. There are definitely a handful of great fellows here though. The supervisors are extremely unqualified. Easily the worst Home Depot warehouse in North America :( The unqualified supervisors do not understand the corporate’s policies at all. These ignorant people are making up their own rules over the company rules. This store is a stain on the Home Depot’s business map. Never coming back to the Home Depot’s Kanata store in the future. I would recommend Princess Auto and Ottawa Fastener Supply if you prefer to shop in town. The mid-age 5’3” male supervisor successfully helped HD lose a loyal customer.
I placed a pick up order that is 2 days late. I don't blame the staff at all but I do blame Home Depot corporate and management who are willing to commit their staff to something they could not possibly achieve. As if essential workers were not already stressed enough - their management does not have their back. Instead of promising false pick-up dates and overloading your staff with orders, you should just be realistic and compassionate. Don't worry about losing pick up order money when you should be worried about losing customers who want to shop where people are respected.
Went to pick up chair cushions that showed 22 available from online. Unfortunately, there was only 1. I found a different pattern that I liked after chatting with a sales associate, who explained that the online amounts don't correspond well with real life when things are selling fast. Ultimately, I am happy with my purchase, and always happy with the service at this location. I also purchased several plants that I have planted in our backyard. Considering that we will be spending all of our vacation in our backyard, I imagine that we will be back for a few things.
This is the location closest to me but this review is more for the Home Depot company. Home depot's quality of service and customer care have dropped a considerable amount. From refusing to easily price matching to not collecting old paint cans and light bulbs their unwillingness to contribute to the community and give back to the customer has made me unwilling to support them if there is another viable option. I have successfully been able to divert most of my purchases away from Home Depot. Lowe's has always met my expectations and serves the community well.
Amazing people, amazing after sale support. Bought my appliances from this store and not only they offered significantly better prices, but the after sale support from this store has been nothing less than perfect. The employees and the managers in this branch have been awesome in everything. We were not satisfied with our dishwasher and reached out to Eric (the manager) and we were amazed with his support, and also with his follow ups to make sure we are happy with our purchase. Bart also have been amazing in helping us in every step. I highly recommend them.
I had yesterday one of my best trips to Home Depot that i didn't have a long time ago , Domenico helped me in extreme geniuse way! Honestly, i couldn't figure it out by myself as i was completely lost that thereis alot of options! Loool !..he showed me and proceeded with my needs in very officially, easy, and very patient way... I thought that i had to purchase around 10 to 12 items to reach my goal! but with his help, i ended up purchasing only 3 items, and the result i ended up in my home Cabinet Unit is: Sturdy and nice looking finished too!
I’ve dealt with the staff at Kanata Home Depot for a number of years and the service has always been excellent. These last few months have been an exceptional experience. Particular shout out go to Alana, Jessica, Alex and Christian who went to the Nth degree to get the order, delivered to me, despite a few bumps along the road. Also want to add that Karen in the paint department is top notch! So very helpful and knowledgeable and customer service focused. Thank you so much for going the extra mile.
Although I've never had a bad experience at this location, today I had a particularly good one. I came in looking for okra plants. They had just come in and the lady with light blond hair (I didn't get her name) in a ponytail who was working alongside Sloane was very helpful and helped me find some. When I got to the cash, I was served by Clark who was kind enough to fashion a plastic cover for me so I wouldn't get the inside of my bad dirty. Stellar customer service for sure!
I came to this homedepot to buy a compressor I asked the guy stocking the compressors if they had any of a a type I wanted to man told me how would he know go ask an associate so I said I'll go somewhere else he then said he guess he could scan it and told him not to trouble him self. Went to customer service to give a complaint but the 3 at the counter wouldn't even acknowledge me. To busy talking about their upcoming weekend. Very poor service never again
Absolutely disappointed and appalled with the customer service rep at the kanata location who answered my call. They definitely need to be trained to speak with customers. I called in to inquire about a charge and the immediate response was ‘do you expect us to work for free’ and this is after spending 13k with Home Depot. After all the amount I spent, that statement was unwarranted and insulting. Thank you for a horrible experience.
Had an issue where I purchased an item and attempted to return it just after the one month window. I didnt realize not all items are covered under the 90 day return policy and some are limited to 30 days. Luckily the associates were able to help me out and arrange a way for me to return the unopened item. I really appreciate the returns desk going the extra mile to help me out. They have a customer for life
Whatever you do, do NOT buy kitchen counter tops from Home Depot. Their customer support service and the company they use for install, Granit Design, are absolutely horrendous to deal with. They rescheduled several times, missed appointments, pushed back our project several times, changed the price without notice, overcharged us by mistake, and then pushed the install appointment again. Avoid at all costs.
The best service in all homedepots I've ever been at. We were looking for a particular item and we had 4 employees help search the entire store. Even when they couldn't find it they contacted another homedepot close to them, and had them hold the items for us until we could get there. They definitely went out of there way to help. Thanks to all employees that work there, will definitely shop here again.
Went to pick up my carpet cleaner rental today. I was served by Rebecca Thompson. She was so kind and energetic, and went above and beyond. She truly made my day. Additionally, when walking through the lot with the carpet cleaner I was approached by an employee asking if I needed help/offered me advice on how to “bend” the handle to make it more compact and easier to put in the car. Excellent service!
Friendly staff Unfortunately they are geared towards the online shoppers. 3 people working at the paint counter. One poor girl running around serving all the customers waiting (at one point there was 5 people in line to order and 2 people started another line to ask questions). 2 others slowly going through the online orders. The online orders were prioritized and the customers were left to wait
Beyond terrible. Years of massive screw ups, not just for me but other family members. constant incorrect items delivered for renovations. I remember when they actually paid more and got knowledgeable staff. Now when I go as a runner for my bosses , looking for an item, I get told all the time that item doesn't exist. LO and behold after searching {cant go back empty handed lol} I find it.
This is a great home Depot, it is everything you expect. I have had several wonderful staff interactions that were helpful - and I don't usually findmost interactions at other places helpful. These people have got my business. In March 2022, this review is still true. So many helpful people at this location, good selection and even during the last 2 years, better stocked than most places.
Love this store staff are friendly and always willing to help you find stuff. We buy a lot of our home renovation supplies here like paint. Love the behr line of paint we recently had a local painter Hugh McGovern of B McG Painting paint our whole house and we couldn’t be happier with the results. When you need paint and home renovation supplies this would be my first choice go to store.
I had a very pleasant visit of Homedepot at Kanata today. Patty B. at Appliances was so helpful to my inquiries about bathroom renovation. She kindly answered a long list of my growing questions with great understanding and patience. She showed me all kinds of products that I could possibly consider as options. I will definitely go back there for my continued rennovation.
I love this shop! It is not only about the stuff they sell (and they have everything). It’s the customer service that I go to this store for. When I have a quick DYI project or have to fix something around the house, I ask people working at this location for help. And they go out of their way explaining to me how to do the job and what kind of tools I will need.
Best customer service I ever seen. Great professional polite staffs. Every one welcomed and asked if they can help. A gentleman there spent his time to explain me how to fight with mice in my house and gave me lots of great information and showed me which products he used and got results. Hats off to the management of this store for hiring these great people.
Staff is great at this location. Victoria, the clerk at the self checkout is a customer service superstar. The level of service she gave to package my plant so it wouldn't be damaged and to scan my items for me so I wouldn't have to touch was unasked for but very welcome. That's the type of customer service missing from a lot of stores.
I have a mixed experience at this location. I did a curb-side pickup at this location, went very smooth, and staff were very helpful. However, I ordered 24 inch X30 inch patio slabs in store and asked the sales person not to sent me the damaged ones that the were available in garden centre, and they sent me the ones that were damaged.
Awful customer service. Needed assistance and had a supervisor request it through their radio but nobody showed up. After 15 minutes I went to speak to the supervisor again and all that was done was her saying “customers still waiting” in her radio. Waited another 10 minutes and nothing changed. Don’t waste your time here.
A big thank you to Jack who helped me find a replacement grass trimmer and parts I needed! He's clearly knowledgeable about the available products, is friendly and provides excellent customer service. Jack is a credit to your store. Victoria at the checkout was also a pleasure to deal with, overall a great experience!
Thanks so much for your great service this past Saturday at the tool rental shop. Special thanks to Mark, who helped me over the phone with advice and securing my reservation for a floor sander. Thanks Jeff for helping me at pick-up – outstanding, and to Sunny, who helped process my return! Great job gang! Cheers!
THINK RETURNS! When I return anything, do I want it to be fast and stress free? If the answer is yes then do yourself a favour and ONLY go to Home Depot. Their customer service is superior throughout the store, the staff actually care and can help quickly. The price match plus beat by 10% is a nice touch too ;)
I would highly recommend Home Depot in Kanata to anyone looking for quality home improvement products and friendly, knowledgeable customer service. My only minor critique is that the store can get quite busy during peak times, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. But all in all, a great shopping experience!
I love Home Depot but I find the lumber prices and other prices a bit too stingy at times. Little thin 8' of wooden trim costing $20.... really? Should have been more like $8 if that. Was shopping for vinyl flooring. That wasn't too bad. Vanities for the bathroom, meh, a few pretended to be on sale...
I went to the service desk and the employee named Tracey was a refreshing change because most service desks seem to be more on the negative side but Tracey had a positive attitude which left me feeling like a valued customer. Please thank her for me as it brightened my otherwise overcast day.
I want to give Wendy ( flooring tile department) a big thanks for her help! I purchased whole bunch tile , but I had to change the delivery date for couple times. She was kindly help me so solve the problem I met since your system was dumb.Very appreciate her patience and professional manner.
Purchased a full set of appliances. Jar two drop of dates. First date appliances came damage and employees were extremely unprofessional. Second date we received the rest. Once driver's left my father noticed money taking out of his wallet. Have not yet received a call from management.
Typical Home Depot story, trying to figure out a drain assembly and don’t know where anything is;Steve working in the plumbing section is amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly and really helped me navigate. This is the reason I come to Home Depot over any other box store.
Home Depot was and always will be my go-to place for anything related to tools and parts. The service is usually always excellent! However, you'd frequently find that there's no staff member available for questions. It's common. Overall, Home Depot is a gem.
Some team members are super friendly and helpful, some are rude and bothered by questions. I’d prefer the former. Then being cold that they have 32 items in stock the man who is bothered by questions told me that he couldn’t find any and I left empty-handed
I waited More than an hour to get my stuff from pickup location. I called two time and they promised within 30 minutes to arrange pickup but unfortunately false promise. I called back again and they said we are busy if you're hurry you can comback later.
Staff almost always very knowledgeable and helpful. Provide cutting services for wood such that it can be cut down to fit in the car! Lots of lumber, plumbing, electrical parts, paint etc. Have had good experiences with matching paint colour from sample.
Went in to buy an outdoor extension cord. Brought in 2 older ones that I needed to identify as indoor or outdoor. Eddy in electric was paged and identified them for me and advised if i used improperly might blow a fuse but wouldn't be harmful to me.
Fairly standard Home Depot experience. Store is clean and well stocked. The employees are great and will ask if you need help even if they are busy with something else. Items usually match the location online/in-app so you can find things quickly.
Everyone that works there treats you like you have been friends for years. Hard to beat that. I actually called the Mngr., Carlos and told him I thought he was to blame for the level of excellent service I had been subjected too. I know, right !
Received good advice on some light bulbs from very helpful staff. Today's return was good. The store was busy but people remained a respectable distance from each other. I managed to get some good advice on a project that I am working on.
Customer service was good. But they didn’t have a great selection in store of bathroom products so we ended up going to Lowes and found what we wanted there. But I’d go back to Home Depot for other items as they were kind and polite.
I have never had so much fun ordering carpet in my life! Doug not only ordered carpet for us, but had us laughing the whole time! What an excellent employee to have working for any store. It's fun to have fun See you next time …
I went in with a million questions regarding electric lawnmowers. The guy from seasonal took the time to walk me through it, compared different makes and models, and what I'd need for my property. Excellent service!
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they could recreate the exact paint match just from a sample of the original paint applied on a piece of paper. Brilliant!
We entered and went to customer service to know where things we needed were, fast and friendly people. We found everything we needed in the specified row. Then the cashier Carys was quick, and nice too.
Went in to purchase something and the sales associate was great, but when I went to check out all it was self check out's, I don't work there but if you want me to check myself out I want a 10% discount
Home Depot is my go to store for all my DIY needs. I go here almost once a week (and then some if I forget something for a project). I know I'm always getting the best deal possible. Highly recommend!
Purchased a microwave, Soraia M was very knowledgeable, covered all questions regarding guarantee, delivery, installation. Thanks Soraia, will definitely ask for you when making next purchase. …
Fremon, was very helpful today in processing my transaction. Very knowledgable. Ali was also extremely helpful and patient at the customer service desk. Great customer service deserves recognition!
Very helpful staff. I am just finding that the availability of stock is really low in all home depots; and I am continually driving around to find product. Not as extensive as home depot US.
Went on a Saturday and it was very busy, but had no problem finding help. The associate was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and made our visit a successful and stress free experience.
Everyone's been to Home Depot. For the most part, they're all great. This one may be my favorite. It's well stocked, well run, has good employees, and a huge lot. There's always parking.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. THEY WILL GOVE YOU GARAGE TOOLS AND BLAME YOU FOR BURNING THEM OUT. WILL NEVEER RENT AGAIN FROM HERE. Phillip was very rude to add to the bad customer service
Nice store lots of room clean, tidy, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Was looking for something I asked and the gentleman looked it up and told exactly where to find it.
Very unprofessional and disrespectful service from the decorating services branch. Contract was not fulfilled and improper product was installed months late. terrible experience.
Good customer service here, although the prices seem to have gone quite a bit up. However, the helpful people working here try to make up for it as much as they can.
Easy to shop. Friendly staff, love the app, allow's one to see what's available, makes things easy to find in the store, and also if one wishes, order for pickup
Went to buy a toilet. I waited as the staff was talking to the customer before me. 15 Minutes later, I left. Ronna is more expensive, but I will go there.
All in one place to get all DIY stuf. Nice service, obidient staff and ample parking place. I will recommend this for sure to anybody to get all DIY stuf.
I like this store alot. Good service, staff and selection. The parking is a bit annoying with lots of spaces but seems always crowded and narrow.
Jackie at customer service provided excellent customer service, very efficient professional and kind. I really appreciate her service and help.
My favorite shop all what you need , staff are very helpful price are just fine but sometimes good deals on clearance items , I recommend it
Went to garden center for landscaping materials, Logan and other folks were very helpful , patient and polite. Thanks for all your help!
Amazing customer service. Was able to ask for a tool to be set aside as it was the last one in stock. And the staff us very friendly.
Got just what we needed to create shelving. Needed sheet cut to size and young lad knew his stuff. Nice, accurate clean cuts!
Fantastic service for an early morning. Found a product in stock when another store told me it can only be purchased on line.
This store has extremely good customer service. Every associate is keen to help. Unseen ina lot of other Home depot stores..
Had everything I was looking for at reasonable prices compared to other similar businesses. Staff were friendly and helpful
Always experience great service when we visit. Will went out of his way to help us with a particularly heavy purchase!
Guy was leaving for the day and stayed to help me find what I was looking fornplus customer service support from Moen
