I am updating this as of 11/23/20 to say that after two months of desperately trying to order $14,000 worth of flooring from them, and literally calling and begging them to take my order AND going in in person (and also calling TWO different managers), we have gone elsewhere for flooring. When I called today to tell a manager he was quick to refund me the measure fee, never asked about our experience more, responded to my complaints, or wanted to discuss why his employee couldnt get it together to order from them. He just wanted to get off the phone. I truly don’t know how they stay in business. One of the worst in store experiences I’ve ever had. ——— Ive hated all my experiences at this store. I am ordering floors from them and am questioning all my life decisions because of how incompetent they are every time I visit or call. I even tried to order from another store but they sent me back here because of proximity. For starters, many employees pull off their masks when on the phone. Last time I was there I easily photograph 4 with them completely on their Chins. Right- because I hear covid spares those talking on the phone. Also-it’s still a law in Tampa. Second, literally everyone on the phone for orders I’ve talked to has been insanely slow. It took me 40 min to schedule a measure apt. Forty. I had to respell things three and four times at turtle speed. It entailed me giving them my name and address. The guy is flooring is curt and difficult to deal with and after twice of in-person appointments, I’ve moved to the phone. I’m seriously wondering if it’s worth more of my sanity going to Lowe’s and just paying more. This store is such a mess. I went in person on a Sunday in the afternoon and the flooring expert today me quote no one works on sundays. She couldn’t answer my questions or help me even though I was trying to order flooring. So then her colleague, the flooring “expert” Raf called me a few days later and also couldn’t figure it out. He assured me he’d call me back the same day to get it taken care of. He didn’t. We ordered elsewhere this weekend. I can’t believe how many second chances I gave them. One day I actually called 7 days in a row. 7. Each person I talked to kept accidentally hanging up on me. It even happened to the store manager. What a joke!
Just wanted to commend four of your, in my humble opinion, best employees that I had the pleasure of interacting with. Jenna, Courtney, Ted and Dan. I visited the store rather frequently in the last few weeks as I was helping my parents remodel and all of them where paramount in completing our projects with efficacy and ease. Jenna is incredibly knowledgeable on the paint department and has a lovely disposition. She knew exactly the type of paint I needed to seal our drywall and where to find it as well as the type of finish, and how much would be needed for other projects. She also did not mind answering all of the questions we had and did not rush us out of the department. She was fast, efficient and confident. Courtney is also wonderful to interact with and was very sweet with my mother, taking her time in explaining what type of glossy paints would be sufficient to achieve the desired effect on baseboards and cabinets. She even showed us the paint at work right there on the spot so that we could see first hand if my mother would like it. She also was super patient with all of the questions and ideas my mother discussed with her. Ted, I'm not sure what to say about. My father and I have interacted with him on several occasion and every single time, even though he might have been busy, he was patient, generous with his time and even would go out of his way to help us in departments where he was not currently working or necessarily specialized in. If I am remembering correctly Ted has been with the store for a while now because I used to work stock with you and am fairly certain he was there when I was. In any event, a cool cat indeed and an indispensable teammate. Finally, Dan, saved us in plumbing. He made what, at first, appeared to be a daunting task (re-directing our plumbing in the kitchen and adding outlets for dishwasher, ice maker and pot filler), a fairly straightforward affair. He spent, at minimum, 10-15 minutes going over our sketch of the final product as well as helping us to find the elbows, and outlets we needed to finish the job. Never once did he show impatience or that he needed to be somewhere else. Again, I can't stress enough how amazing these four employees are and if they're due a raise anytime soon it should a big one.
Home depot has always been my favorite "Toy" store. Every special occasion, when I can, I go and buy myself a bright shiny new "toy". Yesterday I decided to clean up along the fence line. The weedeater was malfunctioning so I went to Home Depot because I had bought the extended warranty. The front desk sent me all the way over to the other side of the store to the rental department and they proceeded to tell me that they only fix items under extended warranty if I pay them to do so. So back to the front desk I go and they all had a long ( I mean long) conference behind the desk and then I was told to contact the manufacturer as they no longer carried the item. So I found the extended warranty and contacted the manufacturer . You guessed it ....it is a home depot warranty not the manufacturers. So I went to work off some of the stress of having to deal with that time and soul draining runaround. I went out to shore up the fence boards. Got out my handy dandy rigid drill and the battery wasn't lasting long at all and the driver had lost alot of power. So I called the number for the lifetime battery replacement and was told first that the tools had to be registered in a specific time period. When they saw that it was registered the day I bought them they said that losing battery power is expected,( that's why I thought getting a lifetime warranty was such a good deal and I got the home depot brand) THEN it was you didn't upload the entire receipt only provided the code off the receipt. ( This is because there is no way to upload a photo of the receipt to the registration page) even though i still have the receipt. SO... now they will only provide a three year warranty, it's been three years and a few months since I purchased the drill and impact driver. So basically SOL. Now instead of my favorite "Toy" store, Home Depot is now known as the Sorry Sleazy Store. In honor of the SSSnakes in the grass that they are.
I want to write this review because I had a bad experience that ended up turning into a very good experience. On 4/18/2021 my husband went up to the Home Depot in South Tampa to purchase a few items that he needed for the house and work. My husband needed assistance on a tool bit head that he had purchased there before. He was having difficulty locating the specific item and asked a woman who was in the area for help so without getting to long winded here she just pointed down an aisle and proceeded to help other people. My husband was just down that aisle and could not find it so he asked her again, this time she asked another employee where it was and that gentleman (according to my husband) just looked like deer in headlights expression, no idea and said down there. The problem we had here is no one wanted to walk down the aisle and help my husband or maybe call a manager and get some help! So my husband ended up getting a manager who was extremely helpful and found the piece my husband was looking for. My husband did not get his name unfortunately but he was African American. Now my Dilemma! My husband bought the wrong toilet seats so I had to go up there and exchange them when I got home the one box had the wrong toilet seat and to make matters worse it was someone’s used old toilet seat! I wanted to throw up because I touched it when taking it out of the box.. so now here we are 3rd trip within 1.5 hrs to Home Depot.. I asked for a manager and James was the manager on duty. James was wonderful and he took care of me! Give that man a raise! Everyone was pulling him in different directions for assistance and questions but James walked down the aisle and helped me and took care of my problem at the service desk! Thank you James for turning a horrible experience into a not so horrible experience!
I ordered 94 cases of tile for a large project I was working on. After setting up a delivery date, I was informed the next day that the tile was not "in" and that it was going to be another 2 days before it would arrive and be made available for delivery. Since I already had tile installers ready to begin work, this unexpected delay was frustrating. Peaches, from their customer service department called me and promised she would do everything that she could to get the material to me asap. She was true to her word. The following day, she called and advised me that the truck carrying the tile had arrived and as soon as it was offloaded, she would call me again. She advised that it could be late in the evening but I asked her to call me regardless of the time just to confirm the tile was in the store. At 9:15p.m. Peaches called and advised she was in possession of the tile and since it was too late for standard delivery, she arranged for internal associates to load the tile in a company moving van and make the delivery early the following day. I was pleased to see their vehicle pull up to the job site just after 8:00 a.m. and the two associates, polite and professional, quickly offloaded the vehicle and they too apologized for the delay. This is an example of first rate customer service. There were calls to inform of the delay. Calls to inform of the pending arrival of the delayed material and follow through on getting the delivery to the customer asap so as not to create any further hardships for the customer. My hats off to Peaches and the staff at the South Tampa Home Depot. You did a great job and exemplify what excellent customer service is all about!
NIGHTMARE! DO NOT EVER ORDER YOUR COUNTERTOPS THROUGH THIS BRANCH OR THE HOME DEPOT SERVICE. There is ZERO CHANCE I would ever do any business again with this branch. I have had the most awful experience ordering countertops from them. (THEY HAVE HAD ALL OF MY MONEY, OVER $3,000 FOR 3 MONTHS). They promised 4-6 weeks. We ordered from Home Depot. Home Depot hired a local company Distinctive Surfaces. The organization and communication of this process is a nightmare. I've had to speak with 5 different people regarding our order. No one takes any ownership and both companies point fingers at each other for problems... THEY STILL HAVE NOT OFFERED ANY DISCOUNT OR REFUND FOR BEING 2 MONTHS LATE and I want to know at what point we need to take legal action. My tenants are living with a countertop left over from a rehab which is awful. Home Depot's store manager, Andrew George, pretended to take this into his hands for all of two days and now of course I'm getting called a month later from someone else in the store and separate calls from my 3rd contact at Distinctive Surfaces. None of these people actually solve the problems on their own. Worst experience imaginable. DO NOT ORDER COUNTERS FROM EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES!
As big box stores go , this is one of the better ones. The staff are friendly and seem for the most part, knowledgeable. What I like most is that at HD, instead of just pointing me in a general direction, they will actually help me find what I am looking for. I also appreciate when I ask a question I don’t get a glazed over stare and a shrug “I dunno” ie what I received usually at Lowes. Lawn n Garden; while prices and check out times have increased the knowledgeable staff has not. It seems the dept is staffed by nice but mostly clueless or missing younger employees. Lumber: this dept is always really busy, but I Carlos is always willing to answer questions and show me different varieties of lumber/plywood. Paint Dept: really great selection of a paints, stains, waxes, brushes n rollers, etc. I also appreciate the ‘oops’ paint policy. It’s a great guarantee if u don’t like the color, just return it. Three suggestions: 1. Sell actual pigment or colorants that can be added to change paint color. 2. more paint tools / spray equipment, spray guns and compressors. 3. Friendlier staff that can answer questions about different spray tools & accessories.
The staff were nice enough, but we waited for 40 minutes for them to bring us the wrong grill in a box. Then, told us we could buy the display at full price. After talking to the associate a few minutes, they agreed to a discount. I informed them it wouldn't fit into my suv completely assembled which is why I wanted it in a box. So, we waited another 20 minutes for a group to take off the side shelves. While doing that they noticed the doors weren't level. So, they tried to fix that. At one point a nice lady came over to inform us it was taking awhile because they weren't assemblers. As we creeped over the 1 hour and 35 minute mark, they told me they couldn't get a screw out of the door to take it off, so they were taking it to the tool rental department to machine it off because they couldn't get the doors level. The entire grill was slanting at the point. I stated I no longer wanted the grill because after everything that was done to take it apart, I wasn't sure it could go back together as intended. They walked away. Cool. 2 stars and not 1 because the people were at least friendly, but the over all experience wasn't great.
On nearly every visit to any Home Depot, multiple associates wandering the store ask if I need help… I like it because the place is huge, but I’m usually self sufficient and most often don’t accept the help. This Home Depot though, I spent 20min just wandering looking for a box fan. The app said they had 31 on-hand, but wouldn’t tell me where they were. After aimlessly wandering without ever seeing an orange apron, I headed to the front to see if a cashier could help me. When I got up front, there were 3 associates hanging/chatting at the self checkout, another one leaning up against the paint desk, and a few more just walking around the lights and plant sections. As I approached, I saw the box fans displayed by the self-checkout. As I rang it up, one of the chatting associates asked if I needed help…. With my self checkout process? I answered that “I didn’t but I could have used some in the back of the store where there were no associates.” So he simply went back to chatting. Bought my fan and left. Lowe’s is about 3min down Dale Mabry. I should have gone there. Would have been faster. Likely will next time.
My husband and went to Home Depot this morning to purchase a grill. There was a grill display in front of the store. I dropped my husband off in front and went to park the car. When I returned to the front of the store my husband was in deep conversation with Raf (Home depot employee). We both liked the grill and were considering making the purchase before looking at any other grills. The store manager approached us and said if we liked the grill he would take an additional $25 off and put the grill in his truck and deliver it to our house (no charge). I was in disbelief!!! I’ve never had such an offer or better device. I’ve always preferred Home Depot over their competitor but this confirms I will never shop at their competitor again. Home Depot understands the meaning of customer service. Thank you. Burgers on the grill tonight!!!! Bet Mickler
I am the biggest fan of Home Depot , never really shop any where else. But this store is beyond what any retail store should be. I Started shopping there about two months ago. At first it seem great as they are never really busy. It was easy to get in and out. Well now I know why they are not busy there customer service is by far the worst. As I have several employees and we are in there daily , my guys started to not want to go there because they felt discriminated, being Latin my self I’ve never in my life played that card And I won’t !! .... but after coming my self to buy exchange or return for the last 12 days, Is a fact the customer service is horrible. That store needs new management, new team members that treat every human with respect I don’t care if is one dollar or 10k. I hope this store changes there practice ! Good luck
Awful costumer service. We placed a large window and sliding door order (more than 30 openings). The incorrect pocket door was sent by the vendor. Home depot did not recognize the mistake. They also dispatched the door with a solo delivery person who was unable to lift it alone. Once it was discovered to be the incorrect size, Home Depot did not schedule a pickup until after several calls from us. They finally set up for last Saturday with an "all day" window pick up. Again, a single driver was sent who was unable to load and informed that it could not be loaded on a flat bed truck. No one at Home Depot contacted us to rectify. We have called three times now asking to speak to the manager and three times they have not called us back. We still do not have a pick up time. I highly recommend visiting another location or vendor.
Recently, I purchased a storage cabinet from the store. Unfortunately, some of the parts were broken. Instructions in the box say to go to a website to order broken parts, so that's what I did. I never heard anything further, so I tried to email. I never heard anything, so I tried to call. Went on indefinite hold... Bad experience so far, so I took my frustration to the product review on their web site, where I explained the situation. THE WEB SITE TEAM REFUSED TO POST MY REVIEW. If they're only going to allow positive reviews on their web site, that's pretty misleading, right? Some parts did finally show up at my house 4 weeks later... broken. My in-store experience was great - people were friendly, when I returned the product. It seems like they have a supplier and on-line customer service issue.
There was a time the employees at this store were willing to help, even when you knew exactly where the item was that you needed... Today i went in looking for wood filler I passed multiple associates and NOT 1 asked me if there was something they could help with. I ended up passing 2 employees around the paint area at least 3 times and they refused to ask me, another customer walked to the area and they were quick to help him. Finally i walked up to one of them asking where i could find the item and just replied aisle 5. Nothing else and he didnt even look my way. I give this store 3 stars since i can usially find items im looking for. Just wish their customer service was what it once was.
The aisles are stocked so it's very likely you'll find your item in the store. I love that the app tells you which aisle and section to find your items. Unfortunately, assistance with obtaining items from high heights or assistance in a department that requires an employee's assistance is unavailable on most of my visits. I have to fight other customers for a representative to help me and stay by the employee's side at all times so another customer doesn't drag them away. Always a short line at the check-out. The customer service desk is easy and convenient for returns when you have your receipt. I encourage everyone to opt into the electronic receipt option.
Went here today to purchase materials for a wooden platform my husband and I are building. We had a few questions and after some time searching for an employee we went to the customer service desk and they sent the manager (Robert) over to answer any carpeting/ wood building questions we had. He was beyond helpful! Personally walking us through the store to show us different options, talking us through the project, and hand cutting the wood at the proper length. I don’t know how we could have figured it all out without him! Very friendly staff and management. Side note, we had our puppy with us and the store was very dog friendly.
My experience with this location has been nothing short of amazing. The staff are polite, professional and very helpful. I am in the area for a family emergency and have visited this store many times while here. One particular trip, I was looking for boxes to pack up items to donate to a local thrift store. When the staff learned I was helping my ill mother organize her home and donate to a local organization, they did not hesitate to help. Not only did they donate boxes, they provided encouraging words of support. Hats off to a great group of people. You blessed me more than you will ever know.
I don’t need a lot of detail, it’s Home Depot! Always consistent. Always well stocked with the right home improvement supplies. Always filled with knowledgeable, professional, friendly staff; well, almost always. OK… USUALLY filled with knowledgeable, professional, friendly staff? Will you take “OFTEN filled with knowledgeable, professional, friendly staff? I’ll stop there because over time HD staff has been all of those things and more - consistent. Covid seems to have awakened the worst parts of humanity. Home Depot staff not excluded.
Randy the manager went above and beyond calling other stores to try and help me find what I needed. He truly knows what customer service means. By the way when I was walking in the store part in hand probably looking a little confused on where to even start looking he was on his way out the door ending I'm sure a long day for him. That didn't matter, he helped me anyway. Thank you again Randy for the wonderful customer service and help!!! I will definitely choose your store over all others because you care about people!!!
We redid our kitchen via Home Depot and fully regret it. The design part with the in-store designer was good and we got great recommendations that make the kitchen more efficient. Since then, it's been TERRIBLE. We bought everything on Oct 29, 2022. The cabinets were delivered Dec 19 and partially installed Dec 28-29. we have still not completed the project (June 30, 2023). We are on the 4th round of cabinet delivery; they keep arriving broken. HD has not been responsive and we are regretting our decision.
Nice store ...the outlay is different from your normal local retail.... However .... At times I felt I was being followed by plain clothes loss prevention.... I got to a point where I asked assistance from one them ... To given a reply that "I don't work here..". But walked into the back break room...... It didn't stop until I made a large purchase with my home Depot credit card...... At least an apology or acknowledgement that your profiling is a bit too much ... However nice store...
Showed up at 7:30Am Sunday morning to purchase garden items. The store does not open til 8:00 am. Stood with full cart while employee let other employees in and was told they don’t open til 8:00. Least they could of done was let me in to sit and wait. Stood outside for 30 minutes. Others showed up and everyone just waited and counted the minutes to go. I wanted an early start. Guess that wasn’t happening. 5 more minutes and waiting! Sad customer service is no longer recognized.
I came by just for some information about grass and found that the employees were very helpful, extremely friendly which is a good thing. Even though I did not walk throughout the entire store each time I walk by an associate I always receive a greeting with a smile. This is why the Home Depot is one of my favorite places to visit and shop. I want to compliment the manager and staff for keeping an organized store it makes it much easier to find the items I was looking for.
I’ve been to this Home Depot many times and have continuously been disappointed except for one cashier that was a new face to me, I think her name was Alexandra. She was the sweetest, most patient cashier there in all times I’ve visited Home Depot. If I could just rate her on this review I would give a 5 star rating but as a store overall and the other staff here especially the Head cashier that was on duty I would give a negative star review if possible.
I'm here now trying to find odds and ends to finish up my place we just renovated. I'm walking around lost and literally more people are following me instead of asking me if I need any help. It's quite honest the most entertaining thing I've ever experienced. Needless to say maybe your people should be asking me if I need help bc I have no clue what I'm doing. Guess I wont be using my brand new home depot credit card here at this location.
I think I’m done with South Tampa’s Home Depot at this point. Not so much that it is a bad store or something. They started with competent staff to help people. Then changed that to “let me read the box”. My problem is the buyer has to self checkout. I don’t want to ring up and bag my own stuff. It was bad enough that it was an option in the past. Let’s have automation take away MORE jobs. Now, I get an attitude when I ask for a cashier.
I went to buy a 4*4*8 feet treated wood, The employee was a good helpers, until he left me walked unattended and didn't help me loading up these heavy treated 4*4*8 feet long wood . I felt rejected due to the fact that there was no other people that he has to attend to and my response is to him was God bless and be safe. My guess is my color or Puerto Rican. There was no reason for him to react like that God made us equal.
If you really need help finding the right replacement part or are looking for something new just go to Home Depot. The staff there are knowledgeable and patient and always helpful. I've wasted too much time elsewhere with no result. Home Depot is clean and well organized. There's always someone handy to ask questions. And you can call them and get answers anytime before you head there. Best store of this kind hands down!
We are in the middle of remodeling and needed help with tile color and some other items. Cody was so kind and helpful choosing tile with me. Also, when he saw that I had to pick up heavy 40 pound bags of salt tablets, he put them in my cart, brought me to the register, checked me out, and put them in my car for me. He went above and beyond what an employee would normally do and Home Depo is extremely luck to have him.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! My shipment was delayed multiple times from Dec 22nd to Jan 3. When I arrived to pick it up I was informed it’s sitting on the truck and won’t be unloaded until the next day. Only thing offered to right this almost 2 week delay was free shipping WHICH WAS OFFERED IN THE FIRST PLACE!! I will never shop at Home Depot again. If I could have picked zero stars I would have!
This Home Depot has really went down the tubes. From never having cashiers and having to ring your own items in checkout while there are 2-3 cashiers having social hour in the self checkout area. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is. And they wonder why business is off. To me it seems like poor management. Very sad for a store that used to have knowlegable people in each dept. Not what it used to be.
I had a wonderful experience at hope depot today when my husband and my son purchase a washing machine, of my choice, for my birthday. So an associate name Christina made the process order for purchase even easier for us, she cater to my request and answer all my question with a smile on her face. She really enjoy helping the customer and that's my kind of store. Thanks Christina.
I went here after a disappointing visit to Lowe’s. The Customer service associate who helped me found the product that I initially tried to buy at Lowe’s. Kudos to him and Home Depot. I can see why their stock prices and reviews have gone up in the past few years. The store was well organized, very clean, and good customer service. Like Lowe’s used to be some years back.
The only reason I go to this place is cuz its so close to home. The customer service is so bad here. There is a small percent of employees that are helpful. The majority, doesn't have a clue about customers and their satisfaction/needs. I really don't like going there. I try to purchase on line and pick up at the door so I don't have to deal with these people.
The lady at the checkout was rude and unhelpful. She never even greeted us and when we asked her for a price check, she practically rolled her eyes and said (the price should have been under the item). I explained to her that if it was (under the item), I wouldn't he asking her to check the price. So very rude!!! Lowe's have better customer service than this!
One into this Home Depot any time of day and there’s more employees than customers. If you ask for help they get made because you broke up their conversation. I own a business across the street. I take the time to drive to Lowe’s or the other Home Depot down the street. Who ever runs this store needs a few lessons on customer service. Horrible and sad.
Probably one the most pleasant shopping experience I've had Home Depot! The sale associate Dev was on point...friendly, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. He helped two other associate with their customers while assisting me. Home Depot needs more associates like Dev on staff! I'll come back to talk about the GB one piece toilet $149 (635-675) later.
I visit this place too many times to count. If you haven’t signed up for a PRO account it’s a must, 20% off on paint, 10 cents a gallon at shell for every $100 you spend and you get a check for 1% of what you spend twice a year if you spend over $100,000 a year. The employees are great and truly make an effort to help me with my projects.
Stopped in real quick to grab a kiddie pool on a very hot day...for my dogs of course. Success! $12 well spent Update: So this pool got flipped over, turned completely inside out then back again, filled up with water & Amazing!!! No Holes!!! Don't walk. Run! to get yours, while supplies last! Must have summer accessory!
Great experience at store, everybody trying to help. Big Thanks to Ro that saw me and my wife struggling to get our patio furniture inside our car and she offer to deliver herself to us( we live 10m away from the store) even though she would be late to work if she was to do it but she did it anyways. We appreciate you ! Thank you !
I went to to this store today looking for an indoor camera and one of the associates name Meka gave me top notch customer service I showed her what I wanted she knew exactly were the camera was located and knew the price she walked me to self check out making sure I got the correct item I would definitely recommend shopping here
It's homedepot from what I experienced there nothing bad but nothing spectacular either, it's a department store somethings are priced to high some are not if you want something related to what home Depot has and don't want to shop around id recommend home Depot or Lowes or ace or harbor freight depending on what your needs are
They got my online order wrong. They substituted a lower quality (and less expensive) product for the one I ordered and charged the higher price. Turns out they didn't have the original product in stock, so that made the switcheroo. So double check your orders for brand, size, color and quantity before leaving the store.
This particular Home Depot is an OSHA violation waiting to happen. Several aisles choked with carts of inventory or store ladders making it impossible for a cart or wheelchair to pass through. Employees stood by and watched instead of helping move carts to let patrons get through. Staff at the registers were nice.
We come here often and every time we have issue with finding help getting blinds cut. It seems there is only a handful (2) people who are trained in knowing how to cut them. When asked other sales associates for help they tell us to go to the flooring department where we wait and wait and wait until someone comes.
Best service from Mario, he was helping someone in the Blinds department but once finished, was eager to assist me with my Flooring questions. Spent a lot of time with me and I want his Manager to know how good of an employee he has in Mario. Customer service seems to lack these days but he was top notch.
The appliance floor reps do not understand the financing options for appliances. I bought a washer and dryer and at every step of the way the rep was wrong and it cost me. Just paid it all off because I don’t want to be part of it at all. And the whole thing took 3 hours because of their own ineptitude.
The layout, a 90 degree type rather than typical square with easy to navigate grid, is a bit difficult to deal with since this was the first time visiting but I imagine of you're a frequent visitor you'd get it down pretty quickly. Staff was very friendly and helped me find what I needed.
Christina was the associate at home depot on dale mabry hwy and ballast point, who help me purchase a washer for my wife and she made it easy to place the order for delivery. She answer all my question and was very patient. Thanks home depot keep up the great service to your customers.
Came in and let me tell you this employee Imari in lumber was awesome!!! Approach in a manner that was very respectful to make sure I finding everything ok. This is why next week I’ll be dropping more money on my fence at this establishment. Customer service at its best thank you!!!
I love this store. Jim in appliances really helped me with my refrigerator he was so kind and knowledgeable with the products on display. Rob in the painting Dept was so professional. I was scattered brain on choosing which color for my daughters room and he had so much patience.
I tried to buy some custom-cut carpet here, and it's like nobody works here. One associate said he can't cut carpet and left. Only self check-out. No cashiers. It's really weird. It's good if you need something without any help. Plenty of stock. But associates are nonexistent.
Beautiful plant selection I am a huge plant lover and I'm kind of critical on how stores take care of their plants because some places don't do a very good job Home Depot this location however absolutely gorgeous plants we actually bought quite a few and we'll be buying again
The manager had told me I could return the impact extention because it broke the same day I used it when I came in to exchange it they denied me and said I had to pay for a new one I regularly buy tools from here but I will not be returning. This is just my experience.
Love home depot always have unique products on display and staff is knowledgeable and willing to answer questions or show alternative ideas for projects and always treat people with respect. Love the Garden department they have some very cool decor for a decent price.
Have you ever seen ladies shopping for dresses and shoes, this is what I look like in the tool department of Home Depot, absolutely love this place. The staff is always willing to help and happy to do it, very clean and organized. Awesome job guys, keep it up.
Got a decent washer/dryer at a reasonable price but the sales people took forever to process it (although they were very nice). Then the hose was installed poorly. Now I can’t get anyone out to fix it so wouldn’t buy from them again nor would I recommend
Not much I can say that everyone doesn't already know. Store was clean and all employees were helpful, one side note, if you're getting wood for a fence and building it yourself. Let the wood dry for a day or two as theirs is very wet and will shrink
Jim was absolutely incredible! He was very knowledgeable and thorough with explaining the washer and dryers. I learned so much more from him than any teacher ever in school. He made choosing my new washer an easy and amazing experience. Five stars!
Come here often for home repairs and projects. Great store. Never had a problem. Chili and Vanessa that are in tool/truck rental are super helpful and nice. Definitely consider for renting any equipment you may need for your next DIY or hauling.
Customer service was atrocious! Did want to help me out with a issue I was having with a return. I got the "not my job, not my problem attitude " from them. I was very respectful and understanding about the problem but they refused to call
Review is for Home Services and Installation. Paid $100 to have measurements taken of guest bath. Was told to expect about $10k to remodel a bath. Labor quote came back at $14k (materials not included). I asked the Services rep to take the
I'm only giving this Home Depot 3 stars instead of 1 star because a very nice older gentleman really helped walk us through a problem we were trying to solve and even fixed my son's toy that he broke. Dude deserves a raise, I wish I had
If you’re buying a major appliance from them make sure you double check it is the one you actually bought and not one that has different features because in order to make it right, they make you pay for the correct one outright and hold
Customer service is always so sporadic. I find that's it's overkill or non-existent. Some departments are better than others when you need assistance. I just wish there was a consistency in customer assistance throughout the entire store
I hate this store and pretty much all the lazy people who work in the back of the store, only one person help me after 30 min wait to get a tote from the top which without a forklift wasn't possible to get it... I ask two other guys and
Went to Lowe's for a piece of wood and their saw was broken. Came here and they had everything we needed for our little kitchen project. It was clean and the associates were friendly. Would recommend for all your home improvement needs.
I shop at all of the Home depot stores in Tampa. This store is very organized, clen, and most importantly I have always found the items needed, which is very important for contractors. This location should be a role model for all stores
This store is EXCELLENT compared to “Stadium” location, just a few miles north on Dale Mabry as well. The selection is fantastic. The merchandise is orderly and clearly marked, the displays are thoughtfully organized, and things are
For almost 10 years have been loyal. The last year has proven this location to be the worst. It's for sure the management. If you need tool/equipment rental, go to the Home depot on North Dale Mabry at 275. Additionally, if you buy
I've been slowly remodeling a house so I have spent a lot of time at Home Depot. The store is always clean and well stocked but the best part of this store is the people. They are always nice, helpful and around when you need them.
I was out of town and my dryer broke. I have roommates so I had to get it replaced as soon as possible. Their website made it easy to pick a dryer, request installation service and pick up of the old dryer plus deliver was free!
I will not shop again at south Tampa Home Depot as long as they do not have a single check out person. They only have self check out the last 4 times I have gone in there. If I wanted to check myself out I would get a job there.
They charged us $7500 dollars for a Wingard sliding door. It did not pass inspection here in Pinellas County Florida. Now we wait for them to make it right. Paying them upfront seems like the stupidest thing we've done, ever.
Customer service here is way better than Lowe's. I had a bad experience at Lowe's and came here feeling defeated and anxious, but the man who cuts the wood really made me feel welcome and was so happy to help me. Thank you!
A huge THANK YOU to managers Andrew and David for helping me with my Ryobi electric mower. It’s a long saga, but suffice it to say that they found a way to make it right and make the customer happy! They have my business!!!
Came for paint. Found exactly what I needed. In and out on less than 15 mins. Paint worker was quick and efficient, assisting multiple customers at once. Just wish I could recall their name. Thanks, Home Depot.
A little larger than average. Good staff. They are still moving towards the self checkouts, but if you are a holdout like me, and you appreciate a cashier, this place still has people manning the register!
Pleasant experience this time due to excellent customer service representative. Curbside app still doesn't work. HD has pitiful IT. But CSR was proactive and stopped at car.. took care of business.
Home Depot has gotten so much better than a few years ago. They have great customer service neater better stock shelves. I'm glad I left the blue place so come back to Home Depot for my business.
I really don't appreciate the solar sales people coming up to you in the middle of the aisles. Not sure why home Depot allows this, I'll think twice before going back and possibly go to Lowe's.
DO NOT get your flooring from here. the service was terrible, and as a veteran, they could not apply my discount. LOWE'S could; furthermore, they do not cap your military/veteran discount
Finding good help at this Home Depot is a bit of a hit and miss. For the most part the staff have been very helpful in making recommendations and helping me locate items in the store
My family and I went to get our Christmas tree and paid for the tree. We then saw that the tree we had on the car wasn’t our tree. They gave someone else our $80 tree
Went to their garden center looking for specific sun loving flowers or plants. A lady really helped me, in fact must have spent at least 20 minutes with me!
Manager Cody goes above and beyond to help out small businesses and local contractors. Love shopping at a place that cares about its customers …
It’s frieking RIDICULOUS that you don’t accept tap to pay!! Update your systems and get with the times!! Heckin ridiculous!!
Hard to find clerks. Couldn't find the correct toilet hdw or window hdw ... So bought window blinds from Budget Blinds.
I always shop home depot. I go right past Lowe's. Home depot! Tony Stewart rookie of the year! That was in 1999 LOL
This store had what I was looking for in stock and customer service was great!! Will be back in!!
Great place to pick up anything you need for the job site. The layouts different that's for sure
The Home Depot app made searching for items easy, and the team members e were very helpful
Staff was friendly. Help me to find what I needed and was in and out quickly
Great place to buy all your home improvement essentials and plants ❤️
Very helpful one of the best locations! Excellent staff all around!
Great customer service, this HD is much better than the average!
Went to find these exact fiddle leaf figs...and there ya go...
I love HD, this store seems to have it together.
Its home Depot so, but its a better one.
