This is such a lovely GP practice. It's actually my partner's practice but I am going to switch to them despite living closer to many other GPs, because they have always had a strong team of healthcare professionals, been well organised & empathetic and given timely appointments with the right kind of healthcare professional. One thing I especially appreciate is Dr Haider's expertise in young children and her lovely way with us as parents and our baby, who wisely decided to like her immediately. We also love their emphasis on prevention rather than cure – they've made us feel supported and, rather than the sometimes-NHS-model of waiting for problems to become really acute before seeing you, we have been able to make appointments and referrals at the right time, meaning that we've been able to manage worries (e.g. viral infection) and keep our baby healthy! It's very reassuring to have such a good GP for him. One little example – when we've taken him for his vaccines, they've been great at making the experience as gentle as possible, and it's been the same lady each time, which is in itself much nicer than seeing different people all the time.

I have been an NHS employee for over 10 years , i had a fractured arm and recently moved to Clapham from Glasgow, was adviced by the A&E to sign up for a GP practice . The Haider Practice is basically 250 ft from my flat , i call in to schedule a registration appointment on the 16/12/2019 to enquire about procdures and documents to bring . I was met on the phone with a very sarcastic and patronising receptionist who never actually helped to answer my simple registration queries, she kept replying “sir i do not understand what you want me to do ? Just come in and sort your queries out here after long awkward silences “. I thanked the lady , Googled the next door practice (The Begg Practice )who booked me in instantly over the phone , professionally explained what i needed to bring and did so with precision. Never in my whole life have i been treated this way in a disrespectful manner while i was ill . I work 66 hours for the NHS and never would i have thought the general public patients were being treated this way . More training is needed. Sort it out please.

I have been a patient of Dr Paramesparan for a few years. He is always so prompt, responsive, proactive, diligent and caring. He follows up to ensure I’m doing better and he understands me, my challenges, my life and is able to advise me well. He listens to my issues and refers me to specialists as required. I’m always so impressed by his professionalism and thoroughness, not to mention his kindness. I saw the nurse today (her name was Blue Pinto) for a scan and she noticed my asthma review was due so she quickly did it so I would not have to return to the surgery. She was kind, caring and quick. She talked me through the procedure I was having today and was encouraging and it didn’t hurt. She did a great job. This surgery is also amazing. I’ve been a patient for ten years and all the staff I’ve come across have been kind, helpful and respectful. This is the best surgery in London from feedback I get from friends and colleagues. Well done. Keep it up.

This morning I had my bloods taken by a male phlebotomist. He did not communicate with me once. He didn’t even say hello. He was scrolling through his phone looking at social media with a pair of gloves on. Once I handed him my blood request forms, without communicating with me and wearing the SAME pair of gloves he was scrolling down his phone with, he placed the tourniquet on my arm. After he took my bloods I asked him a question about a tumour marker test I was having done and he refused to answer me. His colleague then stepped in and kindly answered my question for me. I am a senior nurse working in Intensive Care for over 12 years and his lack of kindness, compassion and rapport with me today as a patient was absolutely not acceptable. Communication is an integral part of any health care position. I hope as a practice you will reflect on this.

I'm registered at the Haider Practice for many years now. Over the years the level of treatment has been top notch. I've received treatment from different Doctors, Nurses and a Physiotherapist at different times. They have all always treated me with the utmost respect and the care and treatment has been amazing. I love that they are all very polite, experienced, passionate & they do not rush you. They literally go above and beyond. I'm very grateful for the high level of treatment and support I've had and continue to have for my health conditions. The receptionists are also very professional. I can get a same day appointment through the website or if I ring the Practice early morning. No long waits on phone unlike my previous GP. Blood tests also in the same building. I wouldn't change my GP for the world. Thank you Haider practice! N.G

Both this practice and the whole of Nhs is so useless that I don't even know where to begin. If it's not enough that they ignored my gigantic thyroid for 10 years now when I have adrenal problems they have the same attitude. Which is " i give you antidepressants or you can go for physiotherapy". No thanks. I went to a different country to get help instead. Dear NHS I'm looking forward to receiving a cheque of my tax that you spent on other patients in the last 17 years. You did nothing for me and you are a complete joke with doctors who bought their diplomas online. Good luck everyone!

Amazing staff here, So i have an extreme a-phobia of needles/blood tests, the amazing nurses here helped me through my first one ! (I’ve been trying to get this done for years and have been unsuccessful until the lovely nurses at the haider practice helped me through my fear). They really do understand mental health and take it very seriously <3 so for anyone struggling to find the right GP practice, i highly recommend this one x Also big thanks to Doctor Haider, she is a caring and professional doctor and she is a doctor that actually cares about her patients xx

Dr Param is lovely, but the new doctors are patronising/condescending and just generally discriminatory due to my health condition. I have finally changed practice, after a call with Dr Gasson(sp?), which was the last straw. The call was awful and she was extremely rude and wasn't even attempting to be covert with it. It was a lovely practice when the main boss (Dr Haider) himself was present, but after the main boss left and the appointment of a few new doctors, the practice has lost its quality. A shame..

I am Dr Julia Gasson and Dr Nick patient and I'm really really happy for that!! I've struggling fight face an autoimmune syndrome and I've been getting all the support from these two WONDERFUL doctors!! I found in these two doctors much more than a treatment. I found human beings who were very careful and willing to listen with their hearts. Thanks you so much for all GP Haider team and my most special thanks go to the amazing Dr Julia Gasson and the my dear Physical Therapist Dr Nick!!

I had my first experience of an actual face to face appointment with Dr Hadier today after just moving into the area and the experience really has restored my faith in the system, she was incredible. Polite, professional, patient and informative and just like it used to be with local GP’s who know and care for their patients. I can’t recommend them enough.

The Haider practice is a family run Doctors practice with baby clinic women's services X-ray blood testing and a host of other services. Dr Haider senior set up this practice with a focus on patient friendly service . The Doctor's often give lecturers at local hospitals and extremely down to earth genuinely friendly as are the nurses and reception staff .

  • Kate Ross

We’ve been with the Haider Practice for 5+ years and they are continually excellent! They are kind, attentive and will always make time for emergencies. As a parent it is incredibly reassuring to have access to help even after hours. Both the doctors and reception team go above and beyond. I could not rate this surgery highly enough.

  • Maxine Muhammad

Dr Ban is the best doctor there. She has been such a great support to my family and myself. Especially during my high risk pregnancy, very understanding, compassionate and brilliant with anxious patients ( myself lol ). I have had maybe 2 cold doctors there deal with me. But overall The Haider Practice is a good GP.

  • Thomas Gygax

Have been with Haider GP for many years, and have been very happy. Helpful and polite receptionists, always get an appointment when required, and all the GPs are brilliant. Just yesterday, the GP stayed behind after hours as we were running late for an appointment. Can't recommend Haider GP highly enough.

  • Francesca D

Haider Practise is the best GP experience I have had in the UK. It is relatively easy to get an appointment, especially for children and emergencies, and the team are professional, knowledgable and caring. Our family is very grateful for the care we have received.

  • Aimee j

Dr Julia gasson is very rude and unprofessional. when explaining to her how upset I am she rings me an hour after our assigned appointment, she says to me in an arrogant tone “well why don’t you change practises then?”. The most unprofessional doctor there

  • Maite Ferrin

I can’t thank enough these GPs, Nurses and the whole team, including admin. The are incredibly professional, welcoming and have always offered an immediate appointment when needed. As a doctor myself I feel reassured me and my child are in very good hands

  • Monique Pace

I went to the sister practice at Brocklebank for an IUD insertion appointment and Dr Farah Jamil was absolutely incredible - one of the most thorough, kind and caring doctors I have ever had, particularly when I needed it most. Thank you!

  • Anna Lee

Just wanted to commend the practice on the always lovely service - from reception to doctors and nurses, everyone is so friendly and patient and polite. Feels like a practice that really cares.

  • Busra Akpinar

Receptionist is rude. Makes you feel like they don’t wanna help you or they are disturbed if you ask a question. I don’t think you should be doing this job if you can’t even smile

  • TY

Always happy with service and doctor’s commitment towards patients. I don’t want to change my GP from The Haider to anywhere else even though I am no longer based in Battersea.

  • Elsa Cochard

I always had a good experience coming here. The staff, nurses and doctors have always been very caring, understanding and helpful. Thank you
