If I could use one word to describe this school, it would be community. TFA truly embodies the partnership between educator, student, and parent that our family wanted in a school. Mrs. Nadia, the teachers, staff, and volunteers have embraced our family, nurtured our child, and fostered an amazing hands-on learning environment. I volunteered in our child's classroom several times, and I witnessed first-hand the love and care that the teachers have for these students. In addition to daily learning, TFA has provided my child with so many fun, educational opportunities, including growing a garden, caring for livestock, Spanish Festival, Jacksonville Science Festival, numerous educational field trips, daily Tai Chi, and one super Arts program where he has taken voice lessons, sung, played instruments, acted in plays, danced, created ceramics and 3-D art, and praised Jesus all at the same time! If you are looking for a non-traditional school that does it right, look no further... TFA is it.

I absolutely LOVE The Foundation Academy for my son. Needless to say, he thoroughly enjoys the school as well. Strategic teaching in and outside of the class, (they also teach agriculture). If and or when there is any bullying, it is immediately addressed. This means that my son is able to comfortably learn and excel; which he definitely has during his years here. TFA is a ram in the bush. They are Steady, Tenacious, Effective, Accredited, and Motivated toward our children being the best that they can be with or without our assistance. Of course with our assistance our children will always soar even further. Speaking of going further, they have the S.T.E.A.M program is tailored for each student throughout their tenure. The school is focused and they genuinely care about having a grounded foundation.

TFA is family is what my 4th grader says about her school. This is her first year at TFA. She has learned even when she didn't realize it. She feels a sense of community. The arts feed her identity, self confidence and altruism. My daughter wants to return to school during this time, although she cannot the teachers have been phenomenal with keeping connected and continuing her learning. It warms my heart as a parent when her teachers share they miss the students and what they wish they could do with them. I must mention the Christian based learning adds to my daughter's moral compass. TFA keep doing what you do!

Updating my review….. I pulled my child from this school due to the the drama. My son was demoted 2 grades because I refused to have a face to face goal setting meeting when Covid first hit. The teachers are wonderful but the “founder / owner “ is nothing but drama!! My 4 kids go here and I am keeping them in this school till they graduate. My oldest has a disability and feel through the cracks in public school. TFA is family oriented. This school is clean and they have rules and they are organized. The people with bad comments have no idea what they are talking about.

The principal is an absolute crazy lady. If you go to her about bullying, or any problem in general, she’ll find some way to make you at fault and let the other people off. She will scream at you, force her opinions down your throat, she’ll treat parents like they’re their also students by telling them what to do and if you don’t follow what she says she’ll get mad at you. She is a mere principal, not your boss but she’ll still treat you like you’re lower than her. The teachers and school itself is good but don’t count on the principal helping you or even being nice.

I Wish I could give less than zero. I caught the "principle" Nadia Hionides in a lie today after failing to address a complaint I filed more than a week ago.. She was rude and refused to accept blame for her own failings. At the end of todays events, as we were withdrawing our child from this horrible school, Nadia Hionides came out of her office and verbally attacked our child in front of her Dad and I. When I asked for her full name from the teacher (Mauro Trundle) who witnessed the event she told me to look it up online.

This school has literally changed our lives. The amount of love and compassion my son has received along with his bible teachings have really helped make a good little man out of him. The teachers and staff make this school an amazing place for your young one to learn EVERYTHING. Bullying is not excepted in this atmosphere. I feel so blessed to have found The Foundation Academy!!!

My niece and nephews have been mistreated by Ms. Hionides and other students for no reason. My niece was physically attacked by a student and her face was spit in by another white student. Nothing was done and I was told that she did right not to hit them back because she would have been suspended from school!

The BEST school!!! Your child will experience learning like never before. I love that the entire campus is one big family. The staff is amazing and the principal is a true blessing. I highly recommend allowing your children to grow, learn, and teach in this loving environment.

It was awful put my child back a year when he entered back into the public system. They are very disorganized and no rules. No morals and no rules. Does not prepare the children for the real world. Crazy no system at all

This school is so bad the principal was so rude to me and my grandma, she called us racist slurs and threatened to call the cops on me cause I didn’t write my name on the sign out sheet.
