Mariam, owner of The Fairest One, did my hair and make-up for my bridal shoot and our wedding. I had very detailed directions since I knew exactly what I wanted... and Mariam exceeded! I was so pleased with her services, and my husband thought I looked beautiful, so that’s all that matters right there! The Fairest One, in general, was so easy. I was able to book a consultation right away, and we met for lunch. I was immediately drawn to her because of her personality. She made it very easy for me to explain what I wanted, being that she does hair and make-up not only for weddings, but lots of commercial shoots, fashion shows and huge events, which was a bonus for me because I requested hair and make-up that was not so bridal. She was always on time and completely prepared. Also, traveling to me was a big plus! The Fairest One also have their own cosmetics that they have recently launched. She used several of their products on me for both my bridal shoot and wedding, and my hair and make-up still looked great at 1:00 am! On another note, I just plain loved her! We had lots of laughs, as she’s a gorgeous, cool chick to chat with. Thanks so much for all you did Mariam! I couldn’t have felt so confident without you.

Without a doubt The Fairest One is amazing. If you’re looking for professional beauticians who make you look better than you ever imagined, they are the way to go! I had a horrible first wedding hair and makeup trial with a different company, I was so skeptical after and started to panic I wasn’t going to find a hair and makeup aritist for my wedding. I was actually referred to The Fairest One and met with Jennifer and Mariam. I fell in love with them immediately! They made me feel incredibly beautiful during my trial and knew exactly what they were doing. They replicated what I wanted to perfection and come wedding day they without a doubt made me feel like a princess. I would recommend them 100 times over! My bridesmaids, Mother in Law, and Mother adored them. I haven’t seen my Mom so happy and feel so beautiful like the way she did on my wedding day. Check them out, you will not regret it!!

Mariam did both my makeup and hair for my wedding and both turned out exactly how I imagined! I knew how I wanted my hair done and she delivered exactly that! I wasn't sure about makeup as I generally don't wear anything besides mascara, but Mariam was so kind and supportive of my decisions and preferences. For my trial, she recommended trying out foundation (with the assurance that if I didn't like it, she was happy to skip it for the wedding day). She assured me she could deliver a natural look with foundation that would last all day and she did exactly that - I looked like myself (just better!). Besides being a skilled hair and makeup artist, she is also so kind and professional (on time and great at communicating and confirming everything). I'd highly recommend her to all Houston brides (or anyone wanting to just look their best!!)

I just can say AMAZING!!! I got my makeup and hairdo with The FairestOne and OMG I couldn't be happier with them. My wedding was postponed because of covid twice and then a third time because of the winter storm here in Texas. Every time I has to postpone they worked with me in the sweetest way ever imaginable. Also, add to this that I'm 58 years old and was very nervous about the makeup because I usually wear almost none. They knew about it and were super supportive. Finally, the wedding date was set up and Mariam came to do the job. She was amazingly supportive, super professional, sweet, and OMG she did an amazing job. Mariam and Jennifer are so full of life, fun, and positive energy! They’re very professional while still being super friendly and are able to make everyone feel comfortable and confident! They did my hair and makeup for myself, both mothers, and my whole bridal party. The quality of their work way exceeded anything I could’ve hoped for and one of my bridesmaids loved them so much that she hired them for her own wedding just a few months later. Had my wedding this past Saturday and have to say that My Fairest One exceeded my expectations. Emma was fantastic, I had no idea what I was looking for going in, as I don't normally wear make up and she worked with me to help figure out what would look best for me. She was so nice and understanding and just a pleasure to talk to. Communication with the My Firest One was on point from start to finish, they answered all of my questions, they responding very quickly, would recommend and use them again. They also traveled to Crystal beach for me.
