Final update: well... it took a few public reviews and a couple of months from the time I first contacted them, but I did in fact just receive a full refund plus a thoughtful apology. I do appreciate that they eventually came around, so I'm acknowledging it as promised below and throwing on one more star. --- Edit: Despite The Cuisinet's PR response (and coming as no shock to me whatsoever) it's been nearly two weeks and no one has reached out to me. I certainly haven't received a refund notification. I will update this if I ever do get my money back, but as it's been about two months since I first contacted them, I wouldn't hold my breath. Also- despite what they've claimed- they do not in fact "work hard to bubble wrap every dish". It's a pretty silly, easily disprovable thing to put in writing for the whole internet to see. The dish set came in its original branded box which had thin paper dividers between the plates. You can LITERALLY see them in the photo. I already thought this business was scammy but this has sealed the deal. There are a thousand other houseware stores out there. Don't take the risk on this one. --- Be careful… this business is not to be trusted. I ordered a couple of dish sets. Multiple dishes arrived smashed or chipped beyond repair. I emailed customer service immediately with no response. I followed up twice. The toll-free number on their site doesn’t connect to anything. I called their main Québécois line and left a message… no response of course. If you run into any issues that may require a concession on their part, you can probably count on the fact that they’ll hide from you indefinitely :) Unprofessional and shady to say the least

Anyone who gave this place 5 stars for customer service must be a fake review written by their friends. The woman at the cash was sooooo incredibly rude. She was too busy chatting with her friends at the cash to even notice I was there until I very politely said hello. She didn't even glance at me, took my item, rang up the item and said the price, still just chatting with her friends. When I tried to pay, her friends wouldn't move out of the way for me to use the machine. When I finally managed to pay, she just handed me the bag, with no "thank you" or "goodbye", just kept talking to her friends. Complete lack of basic social skills.

Total joke of a business. Never got my order. Sent an e-mail - no response. Called them and was told they would call me back in an hour with an update. They didn't call. Called them again and was told I would have a tracking number within 24 hours. I didn't get one. Called twice more and got the run around before being transferred to a voice mail. Called back and demanded an answer on the status of my order before finally being told my order was cancelled. What a waste of time. The worst customer service I have ever had. I literally had to get mad before I got an answer. That's not any way to run a business. Screw this place.

I recommend this company. Like everybody else I tried all the well known companies before I click quisinet. Their web side was very easy to use and quality of there products were obvious . I didn’t have thousands of product to choose from. It took me 5 minutes to choose what I needed. On top of that I got phone call about my order next day and they suggested matching napkin colour for my set. The one I have chosen was not good choice. And next day I received my order. I am very happy what I received .Quality of product and colour combinations was perfect. Best experience I had so far from online shopping.

Ne répondent pas aux courriels et ne retournent pas les messages téléphoniques. Des anglos qui ne veulent rien savoir du français. Le bouton de langue sur le site web pour passer au français ne fonctionne pas Au téléphone, le bouton français ne fonctionne pas non plus. Ça ne parle qu'en anglais. Une vraie farce. Aucun respect. Dehors, on ne veut pas de vous au Québec. Allez vivre en Ontario si vous voulez vivre en anglais.

I was charged twice because of their mistake with the debit terminal. I went in person and was told that it was not their fault and there was nothing that they could do. I contacted online complaints and they never responded. I paid 240$ for three tupperware containers! They do not care about their customers at all, I will never go back and will tell everyone about how I was treated, buyer beware!!

Magasin poussiéreux. Aucun service , on s’est fait regarder comme des extras terrestres parce qu’on portait un masque ( toujours obligatoire par la loi ) et qu’on parlait français. Ordered a mirror on-line, when they had a few left, and then got an email saying out of stock. So ordered another mirror and got an email saying also out of stock; within minutes from placing the order What’s with this company?! Get your inventory correct-first and last time I will order here.

I called and email this place just to find out information on a plate set I was trying to order. No one ever answers their phone and it took more than a week to get an email response.
