I have NO idea how this place is so highly rated. I just… don’t understand if it’s some weird movement to pretend to like low quality food with nice presentation followed by being ridiculously overcharged, but in a city with so many good food options, we have to stop handing out 4.8 star ratings to restaurants with bad food. That being said, here’s the truth about this establishment. The bad: I wanted to like this restaurant so bad but it was… not good. I’d never spend my money here again. They are trying to be TOO creative for no reason. This isn’t even Asian fusion. It more like trying to jam together European classics with Asian flavors and serving it regardless of taste. In concept, all the flavors should marry well, but they don’t. Their croissant madame had decent meat, eggs and a croissant, but then they randomly slapped warm Kimchee in the middle. Like WHY? The duck on the Braised duck Benedict was dry, unseasoned, and wildly gamey (and I love gamey food, but this was just poor quality meat). The Hollandaise sauce was below sub par. The fries were damn near burnt and the Kimchee dipping sauce was NOT IT. ✋ As someone who grew up eating kimchee with spam and rice almost every morning, I have to tell you it’s pretty hard to mess up pairing Kimchee with breakfast food and some how they missed the mark twice. The deviled eggs had great presentation (as did all the other meals), but again… the filling lacked flavor. I will say, this was the only plate where I believe the Asian fusion came together decently with the soy marinated egg. My friend ordered the Bloody Mary and it took everything in us to get him to not send it back even though the Chinese mustard (again… doing too much) was over bearing and made his typical hangover cure undesirable. The good: There we’re no complaints about the Ranchero or the Kale salad other than the ridiculous offer to upcharge the Ranchero $4 for an egg. Wait staff was amazing. Very knowledgeable. I can see why they market themselves as a brunch spot as they specialize in bubbles. The space and ambiance was a whole curated vibe. Moody/broody (in the best of ways) and noise level was not too loud. Level setting: After splitting a bottle of bubbles between four people on the cheaper end ($60), I’d hope to step away from a $250 brunch feeling wowed. We did not. At the end of the day, this is just an aesthetically pleasing place where you’d go to have a drink and take a pic, but I highly recommend going elsewhere for food. I was bummed because it was recommended on Infatuation and had decent ratings on Google. It should have been a sign that their number isn’t posted anywhere on the internet. ♀️ That level of “mystery and intrigue” should have signaled to me to let it stay a mystery. Save your money and palate and eat elsewhere in Beacon Hill/Columbia City.

We celebrated our friends birthday yesterday evening (group of 5). I wanted to really like everything about this place given it has great reviews, I read articles one this place, they even had this restaurant raving on TikTok. I will start off by saying, I wish they had better methods contact. They don’t have a number on their website, no email, and were not responsive on FB. I found them on IG, and the owner was very responsive. She booked our reservation right away. We got to the restaurant and everything was set up so beautiful. We were seated in the room named the Snug and it was so cute. The only down side to it was it was so hot in there (the room in located right in front of the kitchen). When we sat down the waitress met us there and she seemed nice but when I asked her if they had champagne she said “ well we are a champagne restaurant” I said okay I’ll take a look at the menu. I just felt like my question could of been answered a different way. She seemed a little frazzled but maybe she was just having an off day. She did offer to take pictures for our group which was much appreciated. The owner also took our picture and it was much appreciated. Now for the food! When we received our food everything looked so good. The crispy prawns($15), short ribs($16), Boa Buns ($15) were soooooo amazing! We also ordered fries ($10) and they were okay. Not my favorite. The peach cobbler ($10) and chocolate mousse pie ($10) were soooooo good! I wanted to have a second one but I was so full! We also ordered a wine bottle ($52). We ended up spending about $72 per person. Our bill was $363. All in all this place isn’t bad. It is a cute restaurant. Like any new place they can improve in a few areas. But not to shabby for being open only 2 months.

I don't really like brunch. Mostly because of the long waits for all the brunch places in the city, plus the fact that everyone in line all tacitly share the same expectations of unexpeceptional breakfast food. Well I've found the holy grail of brunch: exceptional breakfast fare with no lines (because it just opened. I understand the irony of writing this review and its effect on potential future lines, but this place is going to be *hot* regardless I write this review or not, but I digress) I ordered the braised duck eggs benedict with hoisin hollandaise and it's not an exaggeration when I say that it is possibly my favorite eggs benedict I've ever had to date. It ate like a breakfast version of a Peking duck, while maintaining the integrity of the benedict with beautifully poached eggs. The hoisin hollandaise sauce was unique and light, and most importantly, does not weigh you down after the meal, which is my biggest gripe with mediocre benedicts. The benedict was served with fries that came with a chili mayo dip. This sauce gave the duck a run for its money in the competition to be the star of the meal. It is made with an asian chili oil, so not what you'd usually expect with a chili mayo. It is worth ordering a side of fries just for this sauce. The owners were friendly and down to earth, the decor is slick, and they serve Mimosas. What else do you need? I'll definitely be back as often as I can before the hoardes roll in.

Listen, the place isn’t bad, but I will say that they are HIGHLY overpriced for the type of food it is and for the quantity. Everyone else leaving a review needs to stop hyping it up. I do not believe it is 5 start worthy. My friend paid for the meal, but tbh, I was angry at the price because I personally do not feel like it is worth it. I’d rather too eat at a mom n’ pop’s because it’d be the same type of food but for a price to match it. Now, the vibes were there. It’s a beautiful restaurant but we were very hot in that room that fits 8. They put a fan by the table so that we weren’t hot, but we noticed it was super dusty and it was literally blowing on our table. Can you imagine eating your food with a dusty fan blowing towards it? The waitress was kind of stand-offish to our group and was not doing a great job at paying attention to who ordered what. She brought 2 extra entrées because she thought we didn’t get it but we did (I don’t even know if she charged us for that). The wine was good but maybe it’s just me, but that glass of wine for $15 was not worth the amount given. The only things I really enjoyed was the bao buns and shrimp. I’m not trying to be rude at all just stating my experience and opinion. I just think it could be better.

An absolute gem in Beacon Hill. Went for happy hour after work with a couple of girlfriends. Service was excellent. Ambiance was so charming. We each tried the champagne flight ($22) as well as the cheese plate, fries, and a spread with crackers. We would go on to order an additional glass of our favorites. Update. Returned just as the restaurant was opening and got to see the place quiet before the rush. Happily discovered they had some new things on the menu, including kimchi with fried rice balls stuffed with cheese — very yum and sujet my vegetarian friend could enjoy. They also include chopsticks now, as part of the regular flatware tucked inside the napkin. Love that, de rigueur. It was a rainy day so rather then bubbles, each had a glass of the red wine, the only red they had on the menu, and it was lovely. We also ordered the fries.

What a special way to spend our 11th wedding anniversary! We intended to go to Homer for dinner and put our name on the list with an expected hour long wait. We stopped by the pretty packed Coupe and Flute and they kindly found us a sweet spot at a really cool and cozy booth table in the back. We started with a flight and a pour of a limited availability Champagne. The food menu looked amazing and we were so enjoying the our experience that we decided to cancel our waitlist next door and stayed to dine at C & F. The food was incredible and the toffee pudding was the perfect treat at the end. Overall beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff. Every detail in this place is well thought out and specially planned for the customer to have a lovely yet relaxed experience. The plates, the silverware, the water jugs, the menu, the lights, etc etc. Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped by for a drink before dinner nearby and ended up staying for two drinks and an appetizer. I loved it here! The staff is super friendly and the space is warm and welcoming. They focus on champagne but have a nice selection of cocktails and beer/wine. The dirty vodka martini was fantastic as were the brut rosés we tried. On the bite side, the clam dip was very tasty and full of clams! Served alongside saltine crackers it was the perfect little snack. I can't wait to return for dinner or weekend brunch (hello, braised duck benedict!) They just started taking reservations for both and seat the bar as well with reservation. There are four seats by the bar in the front window that are reserved for walk-ins. Definitely look forward to returning and sampling more of the menu!

It is rare to find a place in Seattle where people are excited to see become a regular. The Coupe and Flute is by far one of my favorite happy hours, dining, and/or post show drink spot in Seattle! The owner and staff are exceptional. They know us when we come in and are always so happy to recommend a new delectable for us to try. The collection of champagnes is extensive and incredible for this bubbly enthusiast. A couple of weeks ago we stayed for dinner and it was out of this world. The fusion of Bao Buns on the menu with duck pate is scrumptious. And if you are not a champagne lover they have some of the best mixologists in the city. Mark crafted a scotch and nocino delight that I had to bring a friend and make him try it last might.

Brunch at The Coupe & Flute is exceptional! We enjoyed the Tempura Battered Cream Puffs, Cauliflower Frittata, and Braised Duck Benedict with a Champagne Flight and Brunch Punch. Everything was delicious! And looking around at other tables, we saw reasons to return and try more menu items. Definitely save room for the Tempura Battered Cream Puffs- you don't know how much you need them in your life until you try them. Overall, the ambiance matched the elegance of the food, while still having a fun Seattle vibe. The service was also outstanding. This is a great option for a date night, gathering with friends, or showing off a local gem to visiting guests. We look forward to returning to try dinner, too!

What an amazing place! Champagne rooms are difficult to come by in Seattle, but this place far exceeded expectations. Wonderful rotating list of legit champagnes and sparking wines. Unique cocktails and some classics with a twist. Food was also incredible. We came for brunch and ended up staying for SEVERAL hours… well into the evening. Brunch and dinner menus are fantastic. Staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to make the most of your experience. The dining room is a pretty intimate space, so I recommend a reservation. Despite unique offerings, the prices were very reasonable. I will absolutely be back!

Relatively new spot, and new for us. Opened by post of the team that worked at Cafe Press before it closed. If you knew that French brasserie in Capitol Hill, then know this spot exceeds expectations just like Presse always did! The champagne flights here are super fun and full of unique options you have to try them all. The stemware is unique as well, and mages wine tasting fun! The bites are a perfect blend of modern and classic brasserie... And the fries are to die for. We love a pate with fries and getting that here does not disappoint. Go support local restaurant teams and their journey to keep the Brasserie part of Seattle culinary everyday options!

It is wonderful to see innovative restaurants on North Beacon Hill! The place is nice, staff attentive and friendly. Coupe (de Champagne) & Flûte (de Champagne) is all about sparkling wines, with extensive choices by the glass or by the bottle. Dishes are interesting and tasty, but difficult to classify; a bit like tapas - nice to share, but with a broader influence. Overall, I found the pricing of drinks high - bubbly oblige, and I am uncertain that the menu as it is will be a strong enough attraction to keep the place buzzing. I'd like it to buzz, and I certainly recommend you try The Flute & Coupe and decide for yourself!

Was super excited for a night out with friends. Small intimate location felt good. Reviewing the menu for drinks and your hit with 18.00 for a glass of champagne wow! I opted for gin 75 which was still 13.00. They specialized in small plates, so we moved past our sticker shock for basically all the drinks were very expensive. We tried almost all of the small plates and being a foodie n cook. Not one plate had a wow this is delicious. I did quite like my 10.00 bowl of pop corn I will say. Then they tell us we have to leave because they have a 730 reservation and Apologized for not telling us sooner. Food uneated on the table, this is what seattle dinning has become, wow. A 280.00 bill for a very disappointing meal.
We had brunch at the Coupe & Flute this Sunday. My partner & I both ordered a glass of the brunch punch and braised duck egg bennedict. The english muffin was toasted to perfection! It offered a splendid crunch and the green onion garnish offered a playful juxtaposition on the safe classic. We had the cream puffs as dessert and they stole the show. They were easily the best cream puffs I had ever tasted and it took all my self restraint not to order another. The brunch punch was good, but probably not worth $14. I also was upset to see the waitstaff petting dogs throughout the meal while handling food and without washing their hands.

I almost want to write a bad review so that other people will stop coming and give me a better shot at getting a seat.... Seriously though this place is amazing. My wife and I did a date night here and I can't think of another place with such a good champagne selection, both by the glass and the bottle. They have it covered well on both big houses and growers. The menu is on the small side but super thoughtful and pairs great with the bubbles. Everything we had was really tasty. I also love that they have both hearty full dishes, but if you want you can just get some popcorn. We didn't try the cocktails (kinda hard with all the good champagne) but the bar program looks top notch too.
What a wonderful experience! Lovely and genuine patrons, great service set in a warm comforting space. It’s so rare these days to find a place that is able to marry a great concept with skilled execution. Our brunch was inventive but grounded just enough in classic brunch fare to be surprising but delicious and not to taxing. The Duck Benedict was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked jammy poached egg on a generous bed of Asian spiced pulled duck breast accompanied by perfect pome frites and a house spicy aioli. Sign me up. Then there’s the champagne. Whatever, blah , blah, just go!

My friends and I stopped at The Coupe and Flute for drinks and an appetizer while we waited for our table at Homer. We had no clue that it had just opened up roughly 5 weeks prior, and were delighted by the interior, the service, and of course the food and drinks. We devoured the steak nachos and loved the drinks we ordered (aperol spritz and sangria). We can’t wait to head back for their brunch and to try the other items on their menu! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new spot!

I wish I took pictures! The Coupe & Flute is a charming tavern with an extensive menu of bubbles and creative food program. Most places have only 2-3 sparkling options by the glass but this place as 9 or more! Their bartender is quite talented too so you can certainly order more as you wish. The food is fantastic! So unique, so flavorful, and so whimsical. I can’t wait to try more and regret not taking pictures. Brooke and Curtis poured their energy and love into building a beautiful space that is interesting and comfortable. I can’t wait to come back!
I haven’t actually ever been here….but I was reading a review of a woman that took off two stars because the waitress gave her a “rude” response to her asking if the place had champagne. If a customer asked me that same question my eyes would have rolled to the back of my head. (Probably a good thing I’m not a waitress) The literal name of the restaurant is named after champagne drinking glasses. Don’t knock starts off because of your ignorance. I can’t wait to come here someday soon with my husband! I love me some champagne.
I love this restaurant. The owner operators are adorable and kind and industry vets. The food is interesting without being too gastro-foamy and too extra (lemongrass steak nachos, house made mushroom steam buns) but they also have classics like fois, cheese plate, French onion soup etc. The menu does rotate often so be prepared to explore new things. This is a champagne bar (only one red glass pour) and that’s a unique take in the city. There’s also a lovely cocktail program. And did I mention the decor is stunning?
Like the utensils! We ordered the bagel and benedict for brunch. They taste special, even with some kind feeling of Asian fusion! A good option to try some new styles! Also, it has not been too popular so far, so no reservation or long wait time required, which deserves another star Mixed feeling of hoping more people can know this place, but being afraid of having to wait for longer time next time if it becomes more popular.

What a cute place for a date or nice meal! Went for brunch and got the duck benedict, croissant madam, and tempura battered cream puffs. Everything was great! I read good things about the duck benedict and tempura puffs, but saw a review about kimchi being a strange addition to the croissant madam. However, I thought it was great and added a teeny bit of spice and tang! Would definitely come here again.

This place was recommended to us by the locals and it is definitely a place for locals! We will be back for more! Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A few things to keep in mind: - they don’t have an espresso machine, they only have French Press, however the coffee beans are really good! - it’s a very small place so I highly recommend that you make a reservation - it’s pretty loud in there however sitting at the bar or outside will fix that problem
What a lovely little spot. Everything we ate was delicious. We tried the focaccia, the burrata, the mushroom bao, the gnocchi, and the ribs. Everything was absolutely excellent. Didn’t see what all the hype was about. Their vegan dessert choice is tiny and their chocolate dessert choice was so dense - without the whipped/Ice cream it came with - would not have gotten through the third of it that we got through and they offer cocktails but no tonic water…things like this just make ‘em seem like they’re trying to do too much. Just pour champagne then

Duck Eggs Benedict is delicious. We ordered a side of chili oil with it and I would highly recommend. Their Brunch Punch is a great morning starter as well!
