We visited from out of town and chose this place based on positive reviews, so we feel it’s important to share our experience. We dropped off laundry around 1pm and was told it would be ready in 2 hours but could pick it up any time before 5pm. We chose this service instead of washing our own laundry since it was reasonably priced and allowed us to continue on with our vacation. We returned just after 4:30 and the lady who had taken our clothes had clearly already left, which was confirmed by a someone doing their own laundry (since they stay open until 8pm for self service). This person told us she left stating she “had to leave early for an appointment”. We came back before 8pm and spent 40 minutes waiting/hoping she’d be back at the end of the day but no luck, not to mention the phone number in the website didn’t work. We had to change our travel plans the following day to pick up our laundry in the morning. The man working the next morning said she probably left early due to traffic concerns from the transportation strike. As the reviewer below noted (who we waited with for some time) this was a huge inconvenience and clearly no excuse can be made because she stated 5pm pickup to 2 couples. As tourists, we were aware of this transportation strike and made accommodations based on it. You would think a local would as well. On top of this, the man wouldn’t even offer any sort of discount for the inconvenience. He instead offered to keeps the clothes and call the the owner but apparently the owner and the lady were “out of town” so he had no idea when they would get back to us. We rely heavily on reviews when we travel for food, services, etc and wanted to share our experience. We may as well have done self-service due to their unreliable customer service and the amount of time we spent there regardless.

Was there at 1pm to get clothes washed. When asked, the lady said she was leaving at 5pm so I came back at 4:30pm to pick them up and she had left. Just before 5pm more people showed up to collect their clothes just to leave empty handed. Waited past 8pm when it closes and no staff came. Thanks for wasting my time in this beautiful city. Had to change plans for the day after because of this. Thanks for wasting my time. In response to feedback. She did not warn everyone. She told me 5pm and I was not the only one ending up waiting there until 8pm in hope of someone returning. Good news is I got my clothes back the day after (today) although not even a discount was offered for the massive inconvenience. On a side note the employee today said he thinks she panicked and went home early. With the cost of changing flights like I had to do and train tickets like another couple had to do because of the mess, I can understand why she didnt show up for work this morning.

Wäsche kam sauber, duftend und sorgsam gefaltet zurück. Dafür hat sich der Preis wirklich sehr gelohnt. Die beste Wäscherei im Umkreis! Cozy Laundry with a very nice and helping woman, working there who also speaks English. After we gave our clothes in, we were able to have a little chat with the nice owner of the place who also told us about the struggle for a small business like that in covid-times. At the same time she was very empathetic about our stories living as students in Amsterdam. The clothes were finished just one hour later. They were clean, smelled great and were put together very carefully. For that the price was really worth it. Best Laundry in the area!

What a blessing this place was. A rainy week in Amsterdam meant that our clothes smelt like damp and with the next leg of our trip being a week we HAD to clean our clothes. Found The Clean Brothers online and took a stroll to the laundromat. We were net by the sweetest old lady who offered to wash and dry as well as fold our clothes for 15€. She didn't even take our names which at first was worrying but when we arrived the next day she remembered us (and everyone else) and handed us our fresh clean clothes. This place is great. Many machines available and if you have time you can save a bit by doing your own laundry. Should you be pressed for time they'll do it for you. Great friendly and efficient service. Thank you!

I came here in summer 2017. The lady working was the hero of my first European Adventure. I was 2 weeks into travelling around France and Italy, all of my clothes were dirty and I expected to spend multiple hours here washing my clothes. I was only in Amsterdam for 2 days and while trying to figure out the machines, the lady offered to wash mine and my boyfriends clothes for us. We went to explore the city and came back a few hours later to find our clean clothes folded and stored in bags ready to go. Honestly the best part of my trip to Amsterdam and I will always recommend this place to my friends.

Place was great clean and there is a lady on staff that was super attentive and nice very helpful with setting the machines up for us. The washing machines are 6 euros including soap and if you want softer it’s extra 50 cents for a cycle of 40 minutes. The machines are really good quality and wash very nice. The driers are 3 euros and big enough to put to loads together and they are 24 minutes. They also have laundry baskets available for use. Overall great clean place to do the musts of life while on vacation. Lots of reading materials while you wait

This place was perfect. Straightforward (just follow the directions), powdered soap included in the cost, machine takes bills and coins, nice and clean, and staff was helpful and friendly. I decided to do my own laundry, though they offered to do it for me. A weeks worth of clothes would have cost around 150 € to have the hotel do it (7 pairs of socks, 7 tshirts, etc). This cost 12 € for 2 washers, and 3 € for a dryer. Was in and out in around an hour. Perfect!

I am writing this review as my clothes are being washed. You must PUSH the door to enter. The door knob does not turn. I was greeted by an employee who offered help instantly. Very nice and speaks English. 8€ for small load with powder included. You can opt for full or self service. I’m washing my jackets so I am sitting inside and the temperature is very comfortable while wearing just a t-shirt. Excellent facility if you are traveling and pack lightly.

Tidy, well lit, and the posted instructions are clear. Coming from the states this was the most I've ever paid to do laundry, but it was worth for the level of quality and reliablity offered. I'd recommend more explanation around the soap (which is included, a nice touch). Soap is sitting in a bucket and was not dispensed from the machine pictured. What do you do if the soap runs out? Also how much soap is enough?

This place is a gem! I’m a retired American and have become a regular at the Clean Brother since coming here in January. The staff is super friendly and they do a better job at fluff and fold thanI had at home in California. They speak English and are reasonably priced for full service versus other nearby laundromats. Added bonus is the fun and funky neighborhood with lots to do while you wait for your clothes.

Was looking for a place to do laundry after traveling in from Paris, found this location based on reviews online. Directions are available in English, set the temperature before paying for the load and powder detergent. Staff was friendly and came out to see if I needed help. The dryer was a bit confusing, you have to press the correct combination five times - I had help with that one!

Fair price. 8 euro for a wash, 4 euro for a 20min dryer. Guy on site was helpful in assisting us! Loads of machines available when we headed down in the morning around 9am+ We were able to drop off our laundry and come back in the afternoon (pick up before 4pm as it is manned till 4pm) Plus, grab a apple pie down at the corner shop (queues get long!) while you wait.

Great service at the Clean Brothers. Leslie was very helpful, and washed, dried and folded two loads of laundry for our family for 12 Euro per load in an hour and a half, which allowed me to find a place for lunch and come back later without worrying about the laundry. Note that like all other laundromats I looked into around this area, they only take cash.

This laundry was a great find in Amsterdam. Since we were traveling around Europe we need our clothes washed but didn’t want to “waste time” with it. There we got around 8kgs of our clothes washed, dried and folded for 14 euros (price per load). The service took less than 2 hours and the clothes were well cleaned and smelling great. Highly recommend!

This place was so great as a non-dutch speaking tourist. The directions are very clear and I was able to figure it out the washing just fine, when I came back to dry the woman working there was so helpful and sweet. Good prices amazing service, highly recommended to anyone traveling in the area who needs fresh clothes!

During our bike trip we were looking for a washing station. They have washing machines and dryers too and the place is perfect to visit the area nearby while waiting. We got full service without any delay for 15€. After 2h we got washed, dried and folded (!) clothes back. Thanks a lot!

A few days ago, I gave my branded shirt with beads to clean in this store. My shirt had several beads on it. Sadly, alot of the beads have been taken out. Maybe it was not the cleaners fault however I hoped they could have taken proper care of a fragile shirt like mine.

Cannot recommend this place more! The owner was an absolutely lovely woman, who offered to have our laundry washed, dried, and folded for 15 euros. We had two bags of laundry and couldn't have asked for a better experience. You can also wash your own laundry for cheap.

Automated machines a rip off!!! Spent 20 euros and still couldn’t get machines to work Edit - thank you for promptly contacting me to refund my money. I would advise that you improve the instructions. I will revise from one to three stars based on the refund.

Easy access laundromat, just a few blocks away from the city center. Clean and convenient. We saw many people going in and out while we were waiting for our clothes to be done. Will go back and recommend to anyone looking for a reliable place to do laundry.

Fantastic Laundry! Went at about 9am on a Tuesday and the owner was there and helped me with the process and starting the machines! Fabulous service and I was able to post something across the road and have breakfast whilst waiting!

The service is faultless, very friendly and professional, and reasonably priced. I've tried numerous laundrettes in the city, and this is by far the best. The owner's son is sometimes there as well, and he's quite frankly gorgeous.

The lady here really made it so easy. I think she arrives at 8.30am and leaves at 4 pm. She will show you how to operate the machines and if you pay a little more she will do the wash for you. Very stress free. Highly recommend.

Great little place, the staff are lovely and so helpful. Reasonably priced compared to most other options and convenient. We left a water bottle behind and they kept it safe and returned it to us when we came back.

I had one load for full service. It was €15 unlike the €12 that appears on the website. I told the lady and she simply said the website is wrong... Nice lady, though, but the clothes were still a little humid.

Clean space with large machines. Pay with cash (takes bills and gives change). A lovely lady working there helped me figure out how to pay and get the machine started. Very happy with the experience :)

Great place, the owner was really kind to explain how it works. It's quite easy and there is also a how to do guide in English. Unbeatable prices, 6€ for a wash and 2€ for drying 20 mins

They provide change and the instructions are simple and well explained on wall with example. They have washing machine and drier separate. They do have staff who can assist.
