The service is beyond terrible, I went to the Shop 1/85 Joseph Banks Ave, Forest Lake QLD 4078, and the lady serving was horrible. Today was my youngest daughter's birthday, and we went to get her the cake. My daughter told the person that we wanted a tropical passionfruit, and she asked her what type of cake, so my oldest daughter told her cheesecake, and she said okay. After she took it out and only showed her the top saying tropical passionfruit, my daughter didn't take a proper look until we were half way back home and realised that it was too big to be a cheesecake. We went back in to tell her that the cake was wrong and she told my oldest daughter that she can't return it and that I should've specifically said which cake but my daughter told her that I did and she said that I "100%" didn't. I think she pressed the wrong cake because the receipt also said torte. My daughter went back in the car and told me, I hushed in the shop saying that I knows the return policy but it's her fault for getting it wrong politely and she yelled back saying "I SHOWED HER THE CAKE AND SHE SAID IT WAS OKAY, AND WHY ARE YOU SENDING A CHILD TO COLLECT A CAKE INSTEAD OF YOURSELF". My daughter yelled back at her "Cant you open your eyes and see that he is an elderly man, and do you really think im that dumb not to know how to do basic things?" She shouted back, saying, "DONT MAKE EXCUSES FOR HIS BAD PARENTING." We had enough and walked out, I think this is very unprofessional and rude. The worker that served me was a female named Maryam. The torte also looked like it was sitting around for awhile, the fruits looked old. Another thing is that the waiter claimed that my oldest daughter didn't tell her what cake she wanted even though both of my daughters said that they did, shouldn't it be her job to ask if my daughters didn't tell her?

Had the worst experience today (Saturday 20/8) My and my husband came in around 3pm, in the front door I did notice a sign saying 4 people in the shop which is understandable. I did take a glance inside but couldn’t see much because there’re other signs on the glass door as well which limited my vision. I then still walked in with the intention to step out if they already had a full house. Welcoming me and my husband is a SHOUT from the cashier behind the counter, saying “ONLY 4 PEOPLE, SIGN IN THE DOOR, READ BEFORE COMING IN”, with absolutely no courtesy and zero hospitality at all, with an attitude that simply can imply that she say we don’t know how to read or anything? I mean we did not mean to stay if she can just explain the policy in normal tone like any other customer service staff should do. We are totally fine with the policy and willing to follow. I just can’t stand this type of treatment when I literally just stepped into the door?!? I was taken aback and left right away to go to another shop to get my cake. My family had been a regular here for quite a long time but unfortunately we would not come back to this shop ever again, due to the treatment we got today. To that particular staff: I know my review would not have much impact on your career, your life or your future, but we were absolutely disappointed if not angry at your service today, I hope you would never do this to any other customer you encounter in the future, because when you are the customer, you will not want to be served by someone like yourself!

I went to the forest lake store to pick up a mini cake today. After getting back home I realised I had been charged twice for the cake. I went back to the store and requested the second transaction be refunded. The customer service representative (I believe her name is Myram) checked their system and stated that I had only been charged once. While I understand there can be inconsistencies between the bank and the store system, Myram was extremely rude in her delivery of this news. She stated that it was not her problem and there was nothing she could do about it. I stated that I did not have the resources available to me to be out of pocket this money and I needed some assistance but she showed no empathy. I started to become emotional as I could not be out of pocket for this double transaction and she rudely stated in an aggressive tone “you don’t need to cry.” This was exceptionally demeaning and disregarding of my experience. I have since called the bank and they have stated there is nothing they can do and the store has indeed charged me twice, despite the customer service representative being adamant that it was the banks mistake. I am very disappointed in the service.

The service was so bad. The staff she was so rude. I went to the shop 3 days ago to ask about the cake what I want and the price (another staff), I wanted to order the cake which is their standard cake, and I just wanted to change the colour only, everything will be same, she was telling me extra $20 for change the colour. Today it was different staff, I told her exactly same thing what I want, and she said extra $80 for change the colour. I told her that your staff told me extra $20. She was so rude to say different cake different price. It is just same cake with different colour. After that, I went to other shop to ask, they said $20 to change the colour, I have no idea she charge me more $60 what is that for? Different person say different price, I would suggest all the customers to be careful this shop.

Imagine making an order for your finances birthday cake over a week before the date needed to pick it up, and the store not having it done for you. Despite showing receipts and order numbers and proof that the order in fact was placed successfully nothing had been made for collection. When the staff members did manage to scrape together the order no apologies were made at all. The service here is absolute garbage - depressed looking team and don’t even bother trying to be organised and making an order ahead of time. I’ve definitely learnt my lesson and won’t be back.

Terrible customer service! The lady at the counter didn't have much manners at all. As soon as I entered the lady greeted me by "darling" which is very unprofessional. Went to pick up two cakes for our company. She said by calling me "honey" that she couldn't find in the system. I said there wouldn't be many orders from companies for two cakes. She said phone your office. Office gave details and still couldn't find it. When I insisted she went at the back and came out with the cakes. That's all she had to do at the very first instance instead of making me wait 30 minutes. Plus no apologies from her. Terrible experience!

To Cheesecake franchiser and Forest lake Cheesecake shop owner. Probably our clear massage and over 50 , 1 * hasn't delivered to the Business owner of this shop yet. The attitude of staff towards clients must be amended immediately. They are rude and have zero courtesy to their valuable clients. Probably due to lack of competition, and they are getting more confident, no matter treating people, still get enough sell. WRONG!! This shop drowning entire franchise reputation into ground. I'm going to escalate this matter to the Main franchise owner.

I wouldn’t even a give one star review, if possible. I went into the shop only to witness a staff member aggressively attacking a customer over a cake purchase. At one point the staff had to be dragged out the back by another two staff members, while the staff member was still yelling and shouting at this poor customer. I couldn’t imagine this behaviour acceptable anywhere else. The service in this establishment is lacking and I will never return to be exposed to this again.

Was trying to get a cake for my son the other day, however when we are open the door, the wind was too big and blow the store sign away, so me and my 3 years old son were calling out for help (definitely not a loud screaming or what) but the staff just came out and talked to us in a really rude manner, told us to press the button for help and don't shout... I was shocking about her attitude. Anyway we still bought a cake but not anymore...

I’ve been a loyal customer since the store opened. Anyway, I always ordered cakes for my family there but the cakes were not what I envisioned. So recently, I told them about it and they did not disappoint! I paid for the cake and flowers. I was told the flowers were fake but I was surprised that they were real roses!!! The birthday girl loved the cake! It was also delicious! Thank you for putting extra effort to please customers!!!

This should be 3.5 stars. These cakes are delicious, and the service I have received has always been ok. I am not sure if there has been a change in ownership or staff, but I have noticed a marked decline in the quality of the decorating the last couple of times I have bought cakes from here, specifically the mudcakes with chocolate bands around them. As such, I would carefully consider which cake I would buy for an occasion.

Avoid it. One of the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. Went in there at 7 as their website and Google says they are opened until 8. The customer services lady kept shouting at me and that they close at 7 and can’t take any order. Just shocked with the experience and will never give my business to them.

Good product but the service was so bad. I asked for a bag to carry the cake, a lady said it should be ok without bag, but the cake was damaged a little bit when we took it back home. We don’t mind to pay for the bag, but with her advice we got a damaged birthday cake! By the way, I don’t know the shop assistant ‘s name but I went there at 13:00 on 21 Aug 2022.

Please don’t go to forest lake cheasecake shop, I ordered normal cake and i was given eggless, when i made a complaint they made excuses and refused to cope. Operator was so rude over the phone. Forest Lake Cheesecake Shop is my go-to for all our celebrations. They have a fantastic range to choose from (including some dairy-free treats!), and every one we have had has tasted amazing. The staff are very helpful - I popped in to grab something spur of the moment today and they readily changed up a birthday cake to suit my needs. Much appreciated!

Ordered 5 days before needed. When arrived to collect No order, even when I showed receipt from the store NOPE still no order. Had to suffer the infuriating’ Darling’ every time they spoke. Eventually after talking to head office which did have my order they made up the cake for me. Never ever again. Quality isn’t the same. Make your own

I don't know what happened to this specific Cheesecake store customer services is bad. We order birthday cake for 10 a.m. pickup we get there 1 p.m. the cake wasn't ready and the lady on the counter was very rude to us and we have to wait in the store for another half an hour seriously she doesn't even try to apologise.
