My wife took my son's bike here to have gear shifting and brakes looked at. Was quoted $130 to carry out all repairs. Upon completion and picking up bike was told bill is $180 because the rear brake pads were also replaced. Firstly, why wasn't that quoted initially? and secondly considering the significant cost increase why was there no phone call made to seek approval for the extra work? Unfortunately it seems she was taken advantage of by these people because she doesn't know these things and they saw her coming. When i rang to express concern and that it was blatant price gouging, i was told the owner would call me but no phone call since and it has been few weeks. Take bikes to this place for repairs and services at your own risk of being ripped.

I have found the this shop is very helpful, not just on getting parts but advice on what is best for the bike (to get the most out of it) yes, there have been a couple of hic-cups from time to time but that also goes for me, in giving them wrong info. Or me, thinking I know better to be fair to this shop. The shop was so good, I actually bought my latest bike (a Stumpy) from them. Yes a good shop, a good bike and good service. I am a hard task master, my pet hate is a "no return call, when shops indicate they will" this shop does call back. But I too understand when they (shops in general) are under the pump, things may take time. Rod (and I am not even a local)

Very helpful and friendly bike shop. This is the 4th bike shop I have dealt with and by far the best. Bruce (the owner) is an honest, genuine bloke. My bike is a Giant, they are not a dealer but are more helpful than the Giant dealers I have had experience with. Went in unannounced and they sorted my bike out same day for a very fair price. This is now my new local bike shop and will be getting all my business moving forward

This is honestly the best bike shop I have ever been to; the service was great, the employees were considerate and listened to my needs and wants. The prices were low and the owner is the nicest person imaginable, he gave us free shirts and said “Just for being nice people”, I have never seen that from any bike store. I highly recommend this store. And to top it off, they also sell affordable scooters and drink bottles.

Very impressed by this store. I only bought a helmet and incidentals but in the time I was in store I witnessed the staff deal with multiple customers. They were polite, interested, friendly and appeared to actually want people on the best bike for them rather than the most expensive bike in store. Top service, had my bike serviced with them and was updated before works were started and given a maximum dollar amount. When the bike was ready I got a call and the service came under what I was told. Good to see honest businesses still exist. I’ll be a customer for a very long time now. Service was also spot on. I bought a bike elsewhere and had trouble putting the brake cable on. They were fast and polite. Very happy mumma! Hopefully a very happy little man too when he sees it tomorrow. Definitely buying the next bike at their shop instead!

The name even to this day makes me think of a Meat Butcher lol They're fantastic though. I've had my bike serviced there a couple times and they're incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in every regard. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
