I've donated a lot of my books to this shop in the last two years, and may well do so again in the future. It's a great place to browse in and to buy from, and of course monies raised go to a great cause! Who knows, you might end up with something that used to be on one of my shelves!

My favourite shop in the whole world. You can eventually find nearly any book you want if you keep popping in, and loads of great books you didn't know existed; all very reasonably priced. The staff are lovely and the proceeds go to Amnesty. Whats not to like?

This place should carry a health warning! I aways come out with more books than I intended! A top notch range of books at least in the cooking, history and sci fi sections. Ensure you bring a heavy duty bag to transport your purchases home!

If I am within a mile of this bookshop I will certainly make the effort to go and pay a visit to this second hand bookshop. Why? Because the books sold here are a mix of the usual everyday and the unusual, less print run, and very often

For a second hand book shop, the vast majority of books are of a very high quality, looking barely used. They have a wide selection of books covering all topics I can think of. The staff, as far as I am aware are all volunteer and are

It's hard for me to walk past without going in as the stock turns over so quickly there is something new that I want every time I go in. The staff are lovely and are happy to watch my bags as I browse the shelves. There are a great

Great second hand book shop. Very fair prices and lovely staff. Popped in last week to search for Legal/Political books for a research project and had exactly what I was looking for and some I didn’t know I needed but did …

Excellent charity bookshop with a good range of second hand books on many subjects. They have especially good fiction, literature and poetry sections at reasonable prices. Certainly worth visiting if you are in the area.

  • Chris Doig

It has a wonderful range of books some of which you would not be able to track down in other bookshops. There is also a website, Abebooks with more collectible and valuable items. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere too

OK, I have to admit I am biased as I do volunteer here but this is a real treasure trove for book lovers. Great selection, a relaxing atmosphere and informative staff. Also, Tracey the manager is excellent at her job.

  • Harry Smith

Great range of used books across a wide variety of categories, mostly nice and cheap but including a section for collectibles/first editions as well. And they're happy to take card payments even for small amounts.

  • Tom Spooner

A well stocked second hand bookshop. Most novels are around £2. Guaranteed to pick up a good read. Non fiction and kids books in front and adult fiction in back. Novels are alphabeticised making for easy browsing.

  • Jacques de Marseille

All books taken to the shop are turned into funds to give a voice to people in need. If you enjoy browsing, the stock gives you lots of food for thought be it comedy, history, music, science.......and fiction.

  • Rach Latham

Good selection of books but really cramped and the volunteers are always so miserable, which seems a shame. It's so cramped you can't really browse as someone is always about to push you out the way

  • John Richards

Well organised Amnesty charity shop, for specifically books, DVDs, vinyls and CDs. You need to book a drop-off on a Tuesday for delivery on a Thursday or Friday; no casual visits to donate.

A book lovers' paradise. Wonderful books at great prices. Please make sure you take a large shopping bag with you and go when you have a few hours to spare for browsing.

  • Christopher Evans

Wonderful selection of reasonably priced second hand books all listed alphabetically by author. Helpful staff and all for charity. I visit every time I am in Bristol.

Fantastic shop, I very rarely leave without buying at least one book, but at least I can take them back again once I have read them.

This bookshop has been around for a while, and when I am running short on reading materials (mainly fiction and novels) I go hear
