This is good affordable South Indian hotel with limited breakfast menu options because last time when I visited at dinner time I packed Veg fried rice whose quantity was filling but didn't expect the quality to be so bad. Today after running 12 km I was very much exhausted so didn't prepare breakfast at home, reached Thavaru Mane Thindi which is 10 min away from my house. The outdoor seating is nice enjoying road ️ side view but no place was empty, so I went inside the hotel, gave order then ate it. In today's breakfast there was Thatte Idli, Vada, Masala Dosa, Set Dosa, Puri, Rice bath, I had Thatte Idli with Vada which filled my tummy. Sambar was average, chutni- I took it twice, Vada was not fresh. Atlast I had Tea, which ended my session their. Ambience is good, but you get lot of noise to hear because it is right next to the main road.

Thavaru Mane Thindi hotel could be one of the stop over points if your visiting places further down the road or enroute to Kanakapura...this hotel, located on Kaggliapura road offers variety of local food(open from morning till evening)..have had breakfast here a couple of times which is quite good (have tried dosa, thatte idly, vada, baath..items are priced wallet friendly..has seating (although during weekends, it can get crowded resulting in wait time).For parking, customers will have to park cars along road side.

Pros: Only food place with average price around after MTR and Cafe Coffee Day. Has service to table. Has Chats in the evening-average though. Has cool drinks and frozen dessert. Has sitting arrangement. Has parking space. Manual and fast billing. Open until 9.30pm Cons: Power cut and no proper fan facility during summer and at night light goes off while eating. Gender available but not used. South Indian is average. Chinese is below average. North Indian is manageable for the moment. Sunday mornings have huge crowd.

While returning from Shivasamudram to Bangalore we took a halt over here for ☕ refreshment. The Tea was decent, however we didn't tried anything looking at the cleanliness of this place which was very pathetic. There are juice and bhujia option also available on the same shop which can be tried if you wanted to try something else however I would emphasize on the cleanliness of the place which was missing right from the Bathroom to the sitting area.

It was around 1 pm on a sunday i came to this hotel to have something cool.. Fruitsalad or falood. My whole family was there.. We ordered fruit salad falood and a strawberry ice creem scoop. Except the ice cream scoop, fruitsalad and falooda literally tasted like feet. Hated that place. Dont know about the rest of the food items.. Its a vegatarian restaurant... Hope other items are ok.. it is crowded during sundays i gues.. There is a parking slot available too

Not a good hotel. Only for coffee and tea, and snacks in the evening are recommended.

This place is on Kanakapura Road. Taste of the food is good. I mostly tried break fast here. Only thing is I did not feel the place is neat and can go with family. Feels like a small road side sagar hotel(which is not maintained properly). I would suggest you can try once, not more than that. Located at Kanakapura Road after Art of Living some 22 km from City this is a Vegetarian Hotel. It is a very old hotel renovated few years ago. Though there are many small and good hotels and restaurants are there in this locality but this is more famous and often visited by all those who go towards Somanahalli or Kanakapura. You can have crunchy Dosas and hot, hot Tea and apart from having meals.

Light on the pocket and filling. For me personally, the sambhar was bland and coconut chutney was a bit watery and bland tasting as well. Masala Dosa was long and huge and filling. Idli and vada were good. Service was really really fast - we got our order in less than 5-6 mins flat. They should improve the sambhar and chutney taste. My only gripe. We also drank coffee outside - Rs 10. It was good.

We get better quality and tasty food on the roadside carts compared to this hotel. And also in much cheaper price. Idli was hard and vada was so oily that I could not have, and the butter masala was also not good. I guess they used the previous days batter and chatni was also not good. Overall I recommend see for other option over this.

Family-run, warm-hearted restaurant where the service comes with FREE smiles, where you get a good variety of dishes from the South and North, where the proprietor speaks multiple languages to be of assistance to travelers, famous for the Nepali chef who speaks the most refined Kannada you've ever heard! A must-visit if you're on the 26th kilometer of Kannakpura Road.

We had breakfast here on the way to a resort , being a holiday, the place was very crowded and the staff were struggling to serve all. It took some time for us to manage seats. The staff all were very cordial. Once ordered it did not take much time the food to be served. The food was ok. Place is ok for a good bite .

This restaurant is on kanakpura highway. The location is convenient and parking is no problem. Ambience is average. South Indian food, coffee and fruit juice are available. This is pure vegetarian restaurant. The quality is ok and rates are pocket friendly. The service is ok. We can have a small break enroute.

An interesting food joint that offers a variety of food items with changes in menu every day. South Indian meals and North Indian food are available. Food can be packed and taken home to eat. Ambience is mediocre. Tastewise food is reasonable. Cost is not very high. In general a good place to enjoy food.

The price is too high, and there is no hygiene maintained.... They are charging 70rs for sandwich which is tasteless(i personally felt that it's tooooo costly ,instead i can have good sandwich with just 50rs Somewhere else)....the food is not worth for The money we are paying,so Please don't visit!!

Pretty good place to sig and have hot breakfast and coffee. The service is not so pleasant and nowadays they have limited options and most of the times there is no food available. The coffee is good and highly recommended. Been here several times and have enjoyed the coffee more than their snacks.

This place is good for a quick bite or typical thali lunch while on Kanakapura road. Quite a common stop for snacks and coffee for many weekend travellers heading out or into the city. Food is average. Nothing exciting about it. Thatte idli is what is common.

Not much to talk about place is bang on Kanakapura highway, bit noisy due to traffic.. idli vade n sambar n chutney was normal. When we visited these were the only items available.. after sometime they served Dose too.. but I didn't have the patience to wait.

It's ok you can eat food not too bad not too good I would definitely go to other restaurants than this but it's has good setting out side and it's on the side of the main road with a parking spot and they have a separate hotel for non veg on 1st floor.

Average hotel. We had breakfast here. No self service which results in spending more time. Tea and coffee was not up to the mark. Dosa and idly was acceptable. Hotel management should think about self service and also to improve quality of food.

Ordered veg biriyani, Rice was uncooked. South Meals, again Rice was uncooked. Rotis did not have salt in them. Unhygienic dirty place. Overall food taste is very mediocre to bad. The one star is for the guy at the cash counter who is friendly.

It's one of better vegetarian restaurant on Bangalore Kanakapura Road. The quality of food items were good at reasonable prices. The Services were very Good. The Chats items were delicious. There was adequate parking space near the Restaurant.

Avoid Visiting, No Service Minded. Since they Keep Hotel in Highway They have attitude that they can sell anything. Must be Improved Food Quality, Giod Rice must be used. Sambar must be boiled. Vegetable was not at all cooked.

Not happy with this restaurant.. but didnt have any other nearby.. there is no service and the food preparation took nearly 20 mins for dosa though there were no people waiting

This is a snacks restaurant and right on the main road. No AC. Simple place to have some snacks and ciggratte or juice. Ample parking place. Open for long hours. AC Hall is septate. Enjoyed some time here.

Please don't go to this hotel there no service food is bad and water is not clean no fridge worst hotel don't believe that 5 star rates iam gone in 2023 Jan

Been visiting and enjoying food here from those days when it had a very traditional Dhabha style setting. Pretty good that they have still maintained traditional taste and presentation. Keep it up team

Super soft idlies, great tasting chutney, sambar is on the sweeter side. Rice bath is good with a sufficient portion for 1 person, & yes we do restrooms which are clean. So go for this place.

The place to visit for authentic Karnataka style chicken Biriyani. Take aways are better as the place was infested with mosquitoes. They deliver home if you purchase for more than Rs 300.

The cashier is pro! He’s like fast and quick. Chinese is wonderful. Take parcel if your heading long trip. Hotel could be more cleaner.

Good reasonable priced restaurant in Kanakapura road. On a supposedly busy business day of Sunday evening lot of menu items were missing. However whatever we ordered were of okey.

Ideal place to stop for tea and snacks if you're travelling on Kanakaputa Road. They serve fresh food, and their coffee is really good. There is ample space for parking too.

Nothing great about it. A savior when you are on Kanakapura road. While most of the items were OK, I though the Idly and Vada were not cooked well and had the raw taste.

Had Khali Dosa it's drenched in oil. Vada was quite good. Chefs are not experienced. Rate also quite high compared to what they offer and charge.
