Thai Express is my long time friend. This is a franchise fast food chain, and for some reason quality varies greatly from one place to another. A safe choice would be fried rice, be it basil or Thai flavor This particular place has seen a drop in quality recently. The meals were never anything to die for, but at least the portions were huge and the food satisfying. Now the portions are smaller, which is not necessarily a bad thing, and of ''lesser tastiness'', but the prices stayed the same. They have changed the plates to cardboard ones, that do absorb some of the juices. Because of that, and the fact that they do keep their promise to be fast, mostly by cutting corners in the coking process, the meat and the vegetables will be warm or hot, while the noodles and the sauce may be burning hot. Since the ingredients, especially the noodles only spent a very small amount of time in the pan, most of the flavor simply drips to the bottom of the plate. It remains a Thai Express location, so they get shipments of their ingredients prepared in advance, most notably the meat. Still, the preparation of the meals could use some more effort. I am not a very good cook but I can easily make a tastier pad sew at home, that's how simple the meal is to make. They stopped aggressively asking for a tip by making it the default choice if you are paying by card, but I wonder if they split the tips among all staff. I would only be interested in tipping the cook, and that is if he makes an effort to prepare the food.

I have visited twice. My first visit I asked a Pad Thai Beef but somehow they misunderstood and made me a General Thai Beef. Was my fault not checking the screen. The food was okay. My Second visit I ordered the Pad Thai by telling them the number. I got the right food. Right of the bat, i realized they cook the noodle differently from other Thai Express. And yes some small ingredient were missing but that is everywhere I go in the angrignon mall(Other restaurant will have their food still in menu but depending how they work, they can either cook with missing ingredient or not cook at all and ask you to pick something else). The noodle was good. Aside the beef was okay. But it is still good. I usually order Pad thai whenever i visit Thai Express. I always was disappoint how the chef usually over cook the food with a pool of sauce that looks like a noodle soup and less a pad thai. This is probably the best one from other thai express since the covid happened.

In a word, food here is likely to cause food poisoning! Yesterday my boyfriend ate something here at noon, and he started to have a stomachache after half an hour. We met an hour later, he drove me home and on the road he said a few times that he felt bad and powerless to drive. 4 hours later, he vomited all the noodles, and then vomited every few hours. His friend had to drive him to Emergency at 3am , cuz he was too weak even to walk. The doctor gave him a vomit bag, and couldn’t give him any pills cuz he may vomit them too. It's now the next morning, he's had some salty crackers and electrolyte water on that doctor's advice, but he throws up again after a while. He didn't even have the strength to speak, and his stomachache has lasted for more than ten hours.

the portion is sufficient even for a man, the staff was nice and package is perfect, not a drip of soup was leaked which is very pleasant. BUT i have to say the soup noddles i orderd is just salty nothing else, yep i was litteraly shocked by the first bite. the bean sprout is uncooked, so it has a wired taste of dirt. i haven't finished it all, i hate wating food but i have to. the fried noodles was better than i thought, (dont try spicy its a littel bit of hot even for a chiness enjoying eating spicy food, just try mild). and the drink iced pandan was amazing (totally recommended) but the price was way too high, if there is not a coupon (Ubereats) for me, i will never order it. complicated feelings. so if you need a dish for u to feed your stomach, i only recommend fried noddles.

I SPECIFICALLY asked for MORE VEGGIES and LESS noodles in my pad thai… I live a 20min drive away and got home and literally had ONLY noodles with 3 slices of carrot and 2 pieces of broccoli. Terrible. Will never buy from them again. Worst Thai Express… Nun’s Island is WAY nicer. Wow. So frustrating

It was the first time ordering from this location (Newman in Lasalle) and was extremely disappointed with the quality offered. The rice was drowning in water so not drained obviously and the shrimp pad Thai had only 2 shrimps was lacking vegetables...almost nothing. The dumplings were obviously preheated and the meat inside was questionable. Never will I order from this place and even any restaurants of this chain and give them my money again.

I have been to a few other locations with no issues but the Angrignon mall location disappoints every time. My veg tom yum soup has barely any vegetables, only a bit of broccoli ( i already ate the broccoli before i decided to review ) and they put too much noodles and the noodles broke apart. I also bought general tao and the chicken didn’t taste very good! I won’t waste another dollar at this location...

Don’t go there, you will pay a crazy price for garbage food. I paid 24.18$ for 1 chicken thai (15.68$) and added noodle instead of rice (1.85$!!) and a combo (they add disgusting Fontaine Pepsi and a imperial roll without any taste for (3.5$). This is pure scam..

Been to many thai express's this is so far the worst. They are sneaky and can con you on your orders. They are cheaper on food quality and more expensive on the cost per meal than any other of this chain. Paid 2x for white rice and the small soup was 1/3 less in portions, missing many ingredients, and worse, they didn't even give me a receipt. Be careful when you pay!

Trash. The create of this garbage food take time to make it! Every time i order online its burnt! I no longer order from this restaurant. Take the time to make food right!! ON TOP OF THAT i gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked for extra sauce to see if that would make it better and what they did was added straight oil. Felt like i was eating Oil and noodles.

What is this, I have ordered general tao beef and they gave me a chicken pad thai, I have told them I have peanut allergy but they refused to change my food because "they are closing"... How is that even tolerated? I'm dumbfounded.

Food was okay. Service is good. We had Pad Sew and Fried Rice. Pad Sew was pretty good, but Rice was missing flavour. It felt like missed sauce or was a bit to dry . I guess because of rush hours in Friday. Hopefully next time we come back it will be better. Overall was okay dinner.

This particular store always missing ingredients and lack of pad thai sauce compared to other thai express restaurants. They always forgot to put tofu and reddish in pad thai despite the fact that I have never asked them to remove it from my dish. This place surely need quality check from head office. Don't save money on your customers meal!

Friendly service, waiting time is really fast but i noticed that they are cheap with their portions. I come here often and get the same thing, I get friend rice with chicken but the plate is full of rice and i had to look for the meat. There were a few pieces but were small. I’m basically paying $15 for rice at this point…

J’ai acheté une soupe Tom yum au bœuf et j’ai reçu une soupe au nouille qui n’a rien de commun avec du tom yum et avec des bouts de viandes de poulets. Je ne sais pas s’ils ont mixé un restant ou quoi, mais plus jamais ce resto.

We had ordered two dishes and specifically asked for a non-spicy dish. Both of them turned out to be spicy and they were not even the dishes we had ordered. Because they were spicy and health concerns forbid eating spicy foods we had to throw it in the trash and wasted our money. Very disappointed

Deliciux/Delicious I've eaten a lot of Thai Express, but this location served me one of the best #3 yellow curry I've ever had. The sauce was perfect.

Ordered a Spicy Beef Pad Sew. They only gave 4 pieces of beef. Noodles were extremely bland, no taste and only oily. They did not make it spicy either. I usually dont have this problem at other Thai Express, but for this one, basically nothing in the dish was prepared correctly

We ordered a fried rice with general tao and a spring roll. The general toe was not cooked properly (It was wet inside) I don’t even want to talk about the spring roll. It all went to the garbage.

One of the worst Thai Express. Skimpy on the meat. They don't clean their wok after each order. Padthai had bell peppers in it and tasted like curry.

The last time I went there, there were a lot of eggshells in my food I didn't like it at all. Normally it's tasty but I won't be coming back.

When you order a 6,60$ thai tea, know that its a full glass of ice and 3 sips of tea. Its insulting.
